Great place to hang out and have brunch. Food is tasty and the price depend on what you order some for me is quite pricey, like i ordered egg benedict with pull brisket which the portion is slightly smaller than the big breakfast set but same price. Despite that the meat is really tender.

Had a nice brunch at Alimento. The waffle stack had a nice balance of flavors and the slight crispness of the waffles was a nice touch. The beef and bacon pie had a very good light pastry, but unfortunately there was no noticeable bacon flavor. The one thing that let down our meal experience was the butterscotch donut. I had an expectation of a light dough with a even flavor accented by the butterscotch, but unfortunately it consisted of a stodgy dough like a scone. Took one bite and left it. Overall, the staff were friendly and the venue was nicely presented.

This really beautiful cafe has great food and a friendly staff. We love the bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon, breakfast burrito, and fish tacos. The cinnamon roll with lemon and cinnamon is very tasty. The outside tables tend to fill up, but we've never had any problem finding seating inside. Highly recommended.

Omg! The new menu at Alimento is amazing. The yummiest lunch at Tauranga CBD ever! Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options to choose from. Great friendly staff, fast and amazing coffee. I definitely recommend this place and it’s the best option for a healthy yummy lunch around!

Great outdoor courtyard. Well lit and spacious interior with plenty natural light. The baked goods are a highlight as everything is freshly prepared. The Shakshuka is spicy with cumin and chilli. Dominated with cumin. Home bread with caraway. Delicious. Try caramelizing your onions more. It'd improve this dish. Colorful menu: chocolate and orange pancakes or caramelized banana with peanut butter and jelly with pistachio crumble. Audacious and camp. A good venue for family and groups. Not noisy at 9am.

What an amazing cafe! Fantastic food and lots of tables for all the customers. Every hot drink comes with a delicious biscotti and make sure to get your stamp for a free hot drink (after 7 stamps!) will definitely be a regular here...

The first cafe probably I went to in years that pay attention not only to food but to decor too. We enjoyed eggs benedict, omelette and cinnamon roll and coffees that were nice hot as compared to other cafes. Why I say so, because I love sipping my coffee with along with my food 😊. If you are visiting Tauranga I highly recommend to visit this eatery!

Lovely indoor and outdoor seating under a huge tree for summer shade in the morning, afternoon sun could make it very hot. Modern cafe with a delightful menu and range of food. Very pleasant service, prices sre up there!. Quality and quantity of food is above average.

I had a lunch date here. We enjoyed the food, coffee, service and ambience. It was a busy winters Friday, so no one was using the outdoors seating. But it was warm inside and not too crowded. The outside area is lovely on a nice day. The food and selection is good but you certainly do pay for it. But no worries if the quality of food is good.

Great place. Food was the usual breakfast selection and decided on the breakfast stack. Nice sauce with the mushrooms.. Egg beautifully yellow and cooked just right.. Hash brown.. This is a great cafe, with good atmosphere. The food is good quality and nice sized portion. I wish they would serve chips or fries though with some meals. I have once asked about this, but they don't want to have a deep fryer there, there is lots of alternate ways to heat and keep hot chips these days. Still I will be returning again for salad with my lasagna.

Great food. Service was hit and miss. Had a large party of 16 and some had to wait a long time for their food and drinks. One order was missed entirely. One coffee arrived announced as "decaf" we asked "decaf what?" Answer was "flat white". She was told the order was for a lattee, so the waitress replied "oh, that's probably what it is ... sorry"

Like Tina Turner said..."Simply The Best" Creative dishes, menus changes according to season and simply to continuously entertain the eye and the pallet. At times it takes a few "mind changers" when ordering from the cabinet/menue everything looks sooooo good. Food prepared with care, respect and pride. Staff friendly and professional always helpful, going the extra mile to cater for special food preferences......good vibes! Perfect venue for private functions,small weddings, lovely ambience. For the coffee lovers out there... the baristas produce a descent coffee that speaks😉 As a visitor, my to-go-to place when in the Bay. Simply the best!!!
