D. M.Lovely Cafe in the middle of an excellent garden centre, so excellent setting. Enjoyed our meal, roast vegetable salad and a vegetable stack with side salad. Unfortunately a bit chewy and dry on top. Maybe got an older one. Still nice.

A. B.This has changed hands and is now called Cafe Bloom. The new operator Marie sells excellent food. With a big selection of sweet and savoury foods. I had the chicken, sweet corn and leek soup and it’s was perfect, tasty, fresh, full of goodness. They also have a new coffee machine, lighting and great new signage Bloom Cafe. Handily located within Decor Garden Centre.
B. W.Great setting inside a garden center. Seating outside but under shade, so you won't get burnt from the sun! Speedy service and food presentation was great. Coffee was a bit strong for my liking but you can reduce to 1 shot if you prefer. Great for groups or for smaller parties. Plenty of seating and parking.
A. C.2nd visit for Mothers day on the Saturday and food is consistently good.
Both Mum and I had lime milkshakes and the ciabatta Ham Cheese was delicious as was the salad. There was a bit of a wait but it was such a great setting under the trees that it didn't matter at all.
The buzzer was very handy to let us know when our order was ready.
D. H.Great food and service but I think you need to move your smoothie/ ice crusher out the back, the noise is so loud that you cannot have a conversation when it's going, it really does let down the peaceful atmosphere

P. C.I just love coming to the Cafe as it opens of a Sunday morning. The atmosphere is off the charts good, the service is truly excellent and the food is wonderful, especially the cheese and date scones.

B.We had a really nice brunch here. The food was excellent. I had the eggs benny on their delicious homemade potato cakes with bacon - highly recommended! Kids had the cheese scones which were a winner. Coffee was very good. The cafe itself was really nice and relaxing with a great outdoor deck area. 5 stars!
A. T.Haven't visited this cafe in ages. The person at the till didn't appear to listen well as I had to repeat my order several times. I had egg benedict with salmon, the bread was too moist to falling apart. One egg was hardd and the other soft with a heap of egg white tossed on. The salmon was over cooked. But the coffee was perfect Yes, I would certainly visit again.

K. S.Just thinking about the savoury brioche make my mouth water, but all the food is superb and I am impressed everytime. Coffee is well made and I appreciate the different milk options available. The service has always been quick and the people friendly. Lovely outdoor seating area and and option to take your food out to a play area for the kids.
C.The food is good and very friendly and easy going customer service team. The iced coffee was bad though, was a watered down coffee really.
Would still go back though.

J. G.Situated in Garden Decor Garden Centre. Went there for lunch and had a beautifully prepared Roasted Vegetable wrap. It was absolutely delicious and and I was still thinking about it hours later. It was so tasty. I was amazed at how well the staff coped with extra people as it was a holiday and extremely busy. The person on the counter was extremely helpful and a real credit to this beautiful cafe situated in the Nursery.
D. M.What a difference a year makes. I went to Bloom today after not visiting for well over a year. I was greeted by a wonderful looking cabinet and friendly staff. The food we ordered arrived fast and all items were delicious. It really looked like someone cared about what was presented on the plate, and accompaniments were well thought through and very tasty. It was also nice to see a lovely side salad on the plates and not be charged and extra $4 for the privilege. I would highly recommend this café, and its tranquil setting. Well done Bloom Café and to all your hardworking staff. We will definitely come back.
B. J.This cafe was recommended to us by a local friend and we were not disappointed. We sat outside which had a fantastic area that the kids could have a play and a run around. The food was tasty and the coffee was excellent. Friendly staff and a pleasant setting. This was a relaxing stop while we were in Tauranga to celebrate New Year with friends.

The Eggs Benny is fantastic, the white hot chocolate is delicious and the plates are warm so the food stays warm and the hot chocolate glasses keep the drinks hot for ages. The service is wonderful. My favourite place. You will not be disappointed!
M. F. (.First time eating here, was very busy on a Sunday at lunch. When we first arrived there was only one staff on the floor and lots of tables needed clearing, we had to clear one ourselves to sit down and saw others having to do the same. The person taking orders was also rushed and we had to repeat our order a couple of times, even then one of our kids ended up getting the wrong thing but he was fine.
That's about the only negative commentary I can make, otherwise the food was delicious, fresh and hot, the ambience and "decor" were great and we all enjoyed lunch, didn't have a huge wait for food. Would dine there again, I feel they weren't expecting to be so busy!

However the counter on 1/1/22 was slow and we felt was a bit rude at times - not just to us but others too. + didn’t ask for vaccination certificates unless customers initiated showing them. Overall ok.

The coffee was perfect! So nice to have a huge bowl, don’t often see it as an option in cafes any longer.
The Falafel bowl was delicious, great balance of flavours and textures. The lemon slice was just right to finish. We will definitely be back and bringing friends.
R. L.We picked up a takeaway meal from here. The restaurant had great Thai decor. All the staff were friendly. We were given a snack while we waited. The meal was very good. A good experience.

So long as you don't go expecting anything amazing, you shouldn't be disappointed. The garden center itself was nice, and a good playground if you have kids with!
N.Great cafe very dog friendly, and a great menu. Now we were out for our walk and got back to the car checked the time oh heck its 12:30... oh lunch time... so we drove to the cafe easy for lunch so if your into lunch not brunch check it out. And then go buy some plants...

B.Prices might be high but you definetly get your money's worth in taste and huge portions. Everything is prepared fresh from scratch and the cabinet food rotates almost daily so there's always bound to be something you like. Don't neglect the menu options either!
