Environment is a plus cause its really cozy and with good view. Its a good place to chill and have a cup of coffee. Havent tried any desert but i ordered big breakfast which is moderate. Portion and price for me is okay.

Fantastic food and service. The team were extremely friendly from the start. We had a group of 8 and all the food came out quickly. The coffee is really good, the bowl of coffee is literally a bowl too! Eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly, big breakfast was massiv.

My wife and kids were at a party at Chipmunks and i had work to do so I set myself up with my laptop. For the first 30 minutes i didnt order anything but I wasnt bothered or rushed out by the staff which I apperciated. I had the eggs benedict with bacon, a mocha and a piece of caramel pie. Do not miss this coffee shop! The staff is very friendly and Deahn, the Barista, makes AMAZING COFFEES!!! I had the best mochaccino ever <3 I also worked there for a month and I can tell you that Simon and Anh are the nicest people I worked for. The team is awesome, I will miss them!

Have previously been impressed with Chapel Street Cafe. It is clean, well set out and in a great position over looking a lagoon with plenty of parking. However, we arrived at Chapel Street Cafe between 2.30pm and 2.45pm for something to eat and drink. The cabinet food did not look worth the price being asked (kitchen was closed so cannot comment on the current menu). Although very friendly the staff failed to listen to my questions and every time I asked about a certain item he would immediately add it to the order and would then have to remove it once he understood it was not to be added, and to top it all he still didn't respond to my question. After this was repeated a third time I gave up and ordered a tart.

Great food and great coffee... Highly reccomend Chapel Street cafe. I have been there for lunch twice this weekend! On our second visit my wife accidentally ordered me the wrong coffee! When it was delivered to our table I questioned this, the young man said it wasn't a problem and made me a new coffee of my choice at no charge! Now that is customer service at its best! We will be back... thank you..

This cafe has a good feel with pleasent staff.Nice to see the water from where you're sitting. Had eggs benedict for breky. Eggs and bacon were yummy but hollandaise sauce was thin and bland. The toast was soft and the avocado was not ripe. Update: Thanks for responding. Thanks for hearing me and talking with staff. It was Sunday morning we were there and the staff were pleasent as usual. Watched as a young staff member spent time with an elderly lady listening to her story, don't often see this in cafés. Was lovely.

This is in the Briscoes/Rebel Sports shopping complex on Chapel Street in Tauranga. They have a good selection of cabinet food. I haven't ordered from menu, but coffee is great and if you are lucky, you might get one of the window seats upstairs with a pretty harbour view.
