J.This is our go to place for coffee.
It is clean and comfortable.
The staff are friendly and helpful and very approachable.
The date scones are great, too good for the waistline! We don't usually do hot food but have had brunch once and had no complaints.
B.A bit of a wait for food though, but worth it.
I recommend for breakfast the omelet with ham/bacon. By the way they are tight on the butter.

I had the Eggs (Poached) on Toast with Avacado and my friend ordered the Columbus Breakfast.Both were amazing.
c.Busy when we were there. As there was only 2 of us, we sat at the table for 2 rather than a 4 seat space. Unfortunately the table for 2 was right beside the toilet and my husband had to stand up twice before our food arrived to let people thru.
One we moved though, we enjoyed the meal
b.Coffee is OK, not quite what you would expect for the price. Cabinet food is expensive.

b.The Tauranga Ulysses motcycle club sunday meeting place for sunday organised runs or if wet we just meet for a coffee. 10 am most sundays we leave for a 3-5hr ride. The coffee and food are great as well.

W.Very good food. I ordered the eggs benedict with spinach and portobello mushrooms. Eggs were cooked perfectly as with everything else. Yummy. Definitely recommend.

M.We were disappointed in the service at Columbus cafe Greerton today. Two staff one doing the coffee, one taking orders from customers then serving from the cabinet! Waited for 30mins for our food one sausage roll & a mini hash with poached egg hollandaise sauce. Both were to be warmed up. Had to ask where was our order, not acceptable. I feel this cafe needs an extra staff member to streamline the process. A positive comment the coffee was excellent,hot very good!
J.First time I've walked through their doors...first impressions great... service great...food selection great...and to top it off the selection and quality of the "Tea Total" brand of tea, completed the experience.

K.Good coffee and smoothies at Columbus Coffee at the Gate Pa shopping centre. Very friendly staff always making sure the order is correct and that we are happy. Good place to go for a light lunch as well and parking in the shopping centre is easy.

A.First off i Really wanted to put 4 stars, as so you could better yourselves. but couldn't help myself :) It was just so pleasant. Came through last Sunday morning with a party of twelve with little more than 24 hours notice, and was severed with outstanding service both from front of house staff (Dylan Fletcher was serving the majority of our table, was very professional and catered to our every need in a overly positive manner) and Kitchen staff followed suit with (Didn't get the pleasure of (Head) Chefs Name, coming to check on our meals and opinion upon finishing, Delightful to see kitchen staff making public courtesy and hospitality also) absolutely splendid meals and a wide range to choose from at that. keep it up Gate Pa, We loved your work. Thanks, see you again - Alex
