D.Just love this place, conveniently located in Wharf Street, just off The Strand. The food is great - I particularly recommend the big breakfast and the French toast; the coffee is awesome and the staff are super friendly. Definitely a great place to hang out in Tauranga City Centre.

A.Had a great mocha and cheese scone. It looks like there new owners, it has had a complete make inside. The staff were very helpful and were cleaning all surfaces when customers leave.
R.The coffee was good, the service was good, the salmon, the tomatoes and the fennel slaw were all good but the bagel was dry, probably stale. I looked around and half eating bagels were on other people’s plates. A shame because everything else was really good.
A.My first experience here was great. The chai latte I had was the best in my life in New Zealand and the food was great.
I would like to try other food and drinks later.
D.Best eggs benedict I have EVER had. Great portions, delicious food and whoever made that hollandaise needs a god damn medal!!! Super friendly too, highly recommend!!!

N.First of all this is a nice Cafe, the staff welcoming smiles (even at 7AM) is very nice. The coffees fantastic, food is great. Seating is very good. You can also bring your favorite 4 legged fur children. Nothing the Dry Dock can do, but I wished the Council would of covered the Wharf street eatery to allow more seating.

J.This is a top cafe in the city of Tauranga, if you want the best coffee then this is the place to come. The Barista Neta produces good medium strength lattes, warm creamy with a rich toasty flavour, slightly more expensive $6 per cup, a wide range of other coffees are available as well produced with the same artistry. To complement the coffees a range of cakes and tasty food is available, my personal favourite is the lemon and yogurt cake. Sandra and Roger are your hosts and look after your every requirement. It is a friendly, cosy, well appointed establishment which as your local Google guide I can highly recommend to you all. Enjoy your stay at Dry Dock cafe.
Still enjoying decaff Lattes and Lemon Cake with yoghurt at Dry Dock, Wharf Street. Coffee made by Roger or Neta, coffee in the picture made by Neta (Nifty Neta). Wide selection of coffees and food. Bit more expensive but quality goods. Recommended by your local Google Guide.
L.It was friendly when Sandra owned the business. But there's very little vegetarian food. The baguette are dry or tough. The carrot cake was small and dry. I used to like going to Dry Dock.
D.Very average , $5 for large at a cafe is typically a bowl sized cup however this is just a small cup that one buys at the warehouse, fluffy came on a takeaway cup even though we sit there , lucky they the only cafe in the area. Bit of ashame really got a lot of potential being at the waterfront . Hopefully for their sake they improve a bit - service bit slow too

R.A modest menu range, great selection in the cabinet, more sweet than savoury. Heating cabinet food was something they seemed reluctant to do, after two attempts the sticky date cupcake was barely above room temp. Coffee was good although the large was very medium sized and the medium was very small. Seemed pretty pricey for what we got, too.
A.Amazing! Had the veggie breakfast and asker for no eggs. It was GORGEOUS - so well prepared. Friendly staff, beautiful spot and well worth the price!

K.If the coffee place closest to my work is shut this is my second option and sell worth the 5minute walk. The staff are super friendly and the coffee is great. I have not tried the food yet, it looks delicious. I will be back to do so soon. Would definitely recommend adding the dry dock to your list of good places to eat in and get coffee in Tauranga :)

K.Sitting outside was nice on Tuesday morning. The place was quite busy. No table number or other ID came with the order, so we were offered somebody else's food initially. Got that sorted. Then my French toast came, the bacon missing, which I had to go and claim. Apology "we are quite busy" after I was told "it comes as on the board" - yes, with bacon....
The green salad with feta was described as bland by my partner. No seasoning or interesting flavours.
The coffee was okay. I got the wrong cake with it - replacement took some time.
A.Great space and good food. Staff friendly and somehow took the orders by each persons name and then remembered who was whom - we were a group of 14

I ordered 🌽 Corn fritters with bacon and it was absolutely delicious! Please make a point of dining here if you're ever staying in or visiting Tauranga, I assure you, you won't be disappointed 😀

J.The coffee was good and the staff friendly. But the vegan sandwich was way overpriced. It was 17$ but it barely felt like I had eaten afterwards :/
D.I Googled "best breakfast in Tauranga" and Dry Dock was the first thing that came up ... so we went there yesterday (Sunday 2/17/19) morning ... and it did not disappoint. FAR and away the best meal we had in New Zealand to that point. I had the eggs benedict with salmon (AMAZING) and my wife had the french toast with carmelized bananas (which was even MORE amazing!). VERY friendly staff, INCREDIBLE food, GREAT view of the water from the tables outside as we ate ... just a PERFECT way to start the day. If you are in Tauranga and need breakfast, THIS *IS* the best breakfast in town!
C.Sandra and her staff are extremely friendly. You could go in once and your name will be remembered. Would say this is the best place in Tauranga to go for your morning coffee/hot chocolate or for something to eat.

T.I had a savoury pinwheel and flat white. Both very nice. Tony had a cheese scone and flat white. Scone was toasted. Said it was okay. Plenty of people came in for morning tea.

A.Best coffee in Tauranga! Along with the wonderful friendly service it is my choice of Café for lunch. They do amazing soups in winter... try the Beetroot and Feta.
