Had a lovely lunch here today - my omelette was delicious as was the banoffee crepes my husband had and the French toast our daughter had. The coffee would be the best I’ve had in a very long time finally coffee served hot not lukewarm like at a lot of places. Lovely staff totally recommend Majestic Tea Bar. Will be back for sure

Absolutely wonderful ambience with beautiful decor. The food is amazing, great service and good old fashioned tea cups and teapots. A little place of class and elegance and brilliant menu for beverages and meals. I loved it and so did my grandchildren aged 13 and 11.

Very lovely food, perfect for lunch and breakfast catch ups. The girls in there are also lovely and must all get along well because they are very loud and hesitant to stop their conversation to greet you. Otherwise very tidy place, nice aesthetic and very nice food with options of GF and Vegan I believe. Would recommend!

Good location at the new Tauranga Crossing mall. Great cozy place for a quick bite, but probably a little too small and loud for a coffee meeting. Service was a little slow but the eggs Benedict was worth the wait.

We were expecting a long wait as it was the 27th of Jan and everywhere was flat out as they were but, we got amazing service and fast food, which was out of this world ( big breakfasts), so thank you, first time there and loved it, one thing though No one asked to see out vaccine passes, nor anyone after us, be careful .

Absolutely one of the nicest cafes I have been to! The decor and feel of the place is amazing, and service is 5⭐️+.. the best part though is the coffee, hot chocolate and food! Back today to revisit, had the big breakfast yesterday, which was amazing, omelette today which is just as impressive! Definitely worth a visit!

Great tea place and they have a wide range of flavoured hot chocolate for the choc lovers. The waffles and the pumpkin caramelized onion and cheese scone are my favourite. The place is pleasing to the eye, very tidy and pretty. Would really love some vegan and gluten free options so I can bring my friends here.

Food was good although they charged me an extra 60c per condiment. Chips cost around 8.50 and come with 2 sauces. But if you order a brownie there is no complementary cream. You must pay 60c for half a squirt. The cream didn't even cover half my brownie. My iced chocolate also tasted like plain milk.

Super friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Mum had a tartlet which she said was the best she's had and I had an omelette from the kitchen. My meal was 5/5 however the time it took was a little slow but it was busy so I will forgive them this time. I had a latte and mum had a hot chocolate. Their coffee is their own blend and I LOVE it so i'll be back. My only flaw was speed of service, needs some attention but otherwise worth a visit

Great food! Great hot drinks disappointed to learn that they have stopped their loyalty card scheme! Just asked the staff again about the loyalty card, and was told that the owner has decided to discontinue them! 9/02/2020... Bit of a shamash every other cafe offer them! My friends and I had such an awesome experience at the Majestic Tea Bar -Tauranga Crossing. This was complimented by exceptional service (greeted with a smile upon entry and very accommodating to our needs - had one child and an infant in a pram). The food was reasonably priced, tasty and well presented on the plate. We'll be back again soon!

EDITED TO ADD: the franchise director took this review seriously (as did the franchisee) and I'm confident steps will be taken to remedy this for future customers. My original review is below: Bit disappointing for the price. It was a busy-ish Labour Weekend, but not every table was taken. The food was a bit slow to arrive. I poured the tea to find it was just water. After opening the lid, I discovered the problem was the strainer inside didn't dip in to the hot water. I swished it as best I could to get a weak Earl Grey. I would have asked for more water, but we didn't have time to wait. The muffin was a bit stale and the chocolates weren't as amazing as they looked. The staff weren't particularly friendly (they weren't rude either, just a bit lack lustre). The music didn't match the ambience. Shame, as I think this place could be really special.
