Had high tea for 6 teenage girls Lovely table setting, ample food per person and attentive staff. Small fee for serving birthday cake which we brought in but all very worth the price Would not hesitate to book again!

Highly recommend! Beautiful ambience. The portion is quite huge and food was very great.

This garden cafe was relaxing fun place. As a tourist, I enjoyed every moment being here. Food was amazing too !

Get out of the city centre and escape to this country cafe. Get there early on a Saturday or Sunday and you'll have some peace and quiet before the families arrive around brunchtime. Coffee and Ice Chocolate was good, but the food offerings including gluten free were even better. The staff were smiley and friendly to top it off. Put this one in your cafe retreat book to recharge your mojo.

Definitely one of our favorite cafe's in Tauranga! Always wholesome food, great coffee and quality service. The Fitness Bowl and Eggs Benedict are some of the BEST dishes on the menu. Looking forward to our next visit!

Nice garden center and cafe. Staff are very friendly and helpful Plants and garden supplies are reasonably priced. Cafe has very nice cabinet food. Seating and decor is well thought out. Popular place and worth a stop.

We always enjoy this lovely cafe! The lemon poppyseed muffin was delicious and even came with butter 🌼9

Great cafe! We did afternoon fika here. So had a milkshake and it was delicious. Then hade two raw (dairy free) sweets that was impressing. The garden is absolutely beautiful and offers a very relaxing fika or lunch!

I was a tad dubious about how good a cafe at a garden centre would be but I was wrong! This place is incredible! Lovely outdoor seating amongst the plants, the breakfast was amazing and the coffee perfect. I highly recommend this place if you are in Tauranga and need a cafe. Their cabinet food looked amazing too.

I've been waiting to come here for months so we decided to go for lunch today and absolutely beautiful food and very well cooked, the bacon was just perfect 🥰😋 Iced Chocolate was yummy and not to sweet.. I'll be very happy to return and recommend this cozy, warm, perfect food to everyone I know..

Stumbled across this quaint little place on our way to Bethlehem. Food was presented so nicely - not one to take photos of my food, but I couldn't resist this time! I ordered the waffles, which were delicious. My partner had the sliders, also very nice looking. Saw the big breakfast as well, which was a generous size. Cabinet food looked nice too. We left pleasantly full and had a wander around the lovely garden centre afterwards.

On a recommendation a friend and I went to Patio Rose for lunch. From the lovely drive down Cambridge Road, to the nursery and lovely setting, very enjoyable. Loved the food and coffee, and we spent a lot longer than we expected just wandering around the nursery. Lots of different plants and quirky items for sale. Highly recommend. P.S. Loved the Insect House!

You MUST stop here. The food is delicious nested amongst the flowers of the garden shop. Cannot recommend enough! Peaceful, quaint and matched with utterly spectacular food and great coffee.

One of the most scrumptious breakfasts ever. Being healthy was a bonus. Pitty Pana. Avo smash special, and the Fitness bowl were also top drawer. All snuggled in a beautiful nursery setting. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

Such a cute little find just out of Tauranga- for some reason I keep being drawn to cafes in garden centres! I think its because they put the extra efforr into food presentation in their pics & Patio Rose didnt disappoint. I think it was a little expensive, but the Staff were lovely & super speedy 👌🌸

Had a fantastic coffee. Food is nicely presented but taste was so-so, nothing special. Good serving size though. Cabinet food looks great but didn't try any. Staff were friendly. Dogs welcome in the courtyard.

Location is beautiful,staff is friendly and the price is alright. We paid $50 for two drinks and two breakfast plates. We had the big breakfast and the fritters which were super delicious! They have many options for vegetarians and vegans too. Definitely recommended! Will come back as soon as I’m back in Tauranga

Such a gorgeous wee cafe. Yummy French toast. I had the lemon slice as well because the cabinet lured me in but I wasn’t disappointed, coffee was great too. Husband enjoyed his sausage roll and the bacon from my French toast!

We celebrated our mums 90th birthday, lovely venue, as it’s more intimate setting, in a lovely room next to the cafe and garden ctr, beautifully set up tables, the food was delicious and staff were awesome. Thank you for making our mums day so special

Very aesthetic atmosphere with lovely food. Staff is also very friendly, who catered do our dog well bringing her water with our us asking. Would recommend.

They welcomed our dog with pats and a lovely fresh bowl of cooling water. We didn't have to worry about her tied up by the car so could relax and enjoy our coffee. And the coffee by the way, just happens to be superb.

Beautiful setting in the garden centre. Totally yummy food presented amazingly. I love the individual teapots with tea cosies. Bone China cups and plates. Cakes are a work of art! Main food is also really yummy and we'll presented. I love the friendliness of staff and the way you are made to feel important. I would definitely recommend this Cafe for a wonderful experience of food and service. It's a real bonus to wander around the garden centre before it after and check out all the wonderful creations dotted throughout the plants.

I think this might be my new favourite place! The whole place is just so lovely with all the beautiful plants and flowers, not to mention the teapots hanging from one of the trees. The food is beautifully presented and tastes great. Coffee is good too. A great place to hang by yourself or meet friends. I'll be back :)

You have to get here early to get a carpark as parking is limited but it is definitely worth it! Amazing cabinet selection and delicious menu - all beautifully presented. Great coffee too. Lovely, friendly staff and a cute, laid back setting. Lucky I don't live closer or I would be spending far too much time and money here!

Randomly stumbled upon this cafe on my way back to Auckland and it's amazing, food is amazing and beautifully presented. Definitely worth a visit!

Visited this excellent cafe twice while visiting Tauranga recently. The food is different from your usual cafe fare. Imaginative, fresh and tasty with plenty of choice to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Menu and large cabinet choice. Good coffee, presentation is artistic including fresh herbs and edible flowers. Set within the equally beautifully presented Stony Ridge Garden Centre it is definitely worth a visit. Which is why I went twice.

A cafe within the garden centre, plenty of seating inside and outside. Some great cabinet foods especially the sweet options! Breakfast/ lunch menu available & daily specials. Healthy options too. Very popular whether you are shopping for the garden or not. Off road parking available but can fill up quickly. Quick service

Food was nice. But the cheff was very rude. I heard him swearing yelling at staff, and made a very rude comment regarding my wife asking to leave out an ingredient on her meal. Nice setting and good atmosphere. Shame about the vulgar cheff tho.

Best breakfast in all of New Zealand. Period. Beautiful seating area, flowers all around, fantastic service and above all very creative and delicious breakfast. Make sure you visit the garden nursery inside the cafe.

A nice café with a menu that has something for everyone, gf and df options. The kids' food came out quickly which is much appreciated and ours didn't take to long either, was fresh, tasty and nicely presented. It doesn't look very wheelchair friendly but if needed you could manage. The car park fills up quickly, especially with garden centre customers so that probably stops it getting too busy. Chiller cabinet has some very tasty treats!

This place is awesome! Booked a high tea for my Mum's birthday and was blown away by how delicious it all was. The staff were amazing and even brought out a little cake with a candle in it for mum! A perfect day!!

Good is Devine, service is friendly and fantastic.Prepare to sometimes queue up to order as is popular at peak times but meals are delivered fast and are beautifully presented.Found out that this cafe is owned by same people that have Nourish Cafe in Te Puna. Cabinet food is insane - so hard to chose what to eat and menu also - again prepare to have to make some hard choices as so much to chose from.

This is a gorgeous garden nursery with very helpful friendly staff. An added bonus being the great cafe! Also caters for group functions with gorgeous function room. Beware though this place is very popular!!!

What a delightful garden centre & café combo. The garden centre is full of quirky imaginative ways to display flowers & veg. It sells a limited range of creative wares/garden centerpieces from local artists ranging from ceramic creations to mosaics to metal & more. Well stocked with plants shrubs & flowers. Wheelchair friendly. The café has beautifully presented food, retro floral trios & serving plates. Plenty of choice for Vegan, Vegetarian & gluten free diets

Today I didnt go to the cafe, although have been several times previously. Today I went to the plant nursery. If you are ever looking for plants that the mainstream nurseries don't have try here. I was told couldn't buy Chatham Island forget me not and these people had them. Well done.

Lovely setting, clean bathrooms and reasonably priced. Good range of cabinet food options but my carrot cake is dry. Coffee is good.

Thirty five members of the Daisy Chain Garden Club Katikati had lunch at Patio Rose June 1st, and we could not fault the food, service and atmosphere. The adjoining nursery was also a real treat with rustic charm and all staff were so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend. .
