Great location. Everyone there was all friendly. Good amount of parking include undercover basement car park. Gym is small but well presented. Restaurant has lovely view and food was above average. The room condition was good enough and bathroom quality also nice and modern. I will definately come back whenever visit Tauranga.

Check-in experience very smooth - great communication and super friendly. The view from the room wasn't amazing but we were only there one night and just closed the curtain on that :P the room itself was very clean, quite spacious, nice furniture, and a sweet touch with complimentary cookie in the room. Appreciate the free wifi and ease of access. Bathroom was amazing - heated floor tiles are the best! And very strong shower pressure - for me, this makes or a breaks a hotel stay! We did not try the food and beverage outlets as the menus, while offering reasonable prices, did not offer much variety or any particular theme - this might be the only minus, but it's not really even that, just want to point out that variety/theme can motivate guests to dine inhouse rather than go out to a local restaurant. Could be that instability from the pandemic does not allow for variety or creativity on this as well. Overall a very nice hotel, with clean fresh spacious rooms and great customer service. If in the area, I would definitely choose to come back here.

We LOVED our stay. Last week was our second time back and we chose the spa suite again. The welcome and check in was effortless and inviting. Our room was beautifully set out and pillows were so soft! We went to the bar after a couple of days and the beer was relatively cheap and the service was fantastic. We had bar snacks that were tasty and well worth the money. Big thanks to the team and we will see you next year :)

Nice welcome to the Hotel by Alex who moved to Tauranga from Hamilton - would like her services on another check in for the future, apartment we stayed in slightly outdated particularly the beds and furniture but good views and overall a nice stay, will come back.

Food was good. However was let down by bar staff when giving out drinks. Food service was excellent. Thanks again Jacob. He was very knowledgeable about the food which made it very easy to choose what we wanted.

Just got back from high tea celebrating my daughter's 10th birthday and want to publicly thank Gavi(sp?) For making the girls feel extra special and super fancy (which was the goal for 10 year old girls). Thanks for great service from the whole crew.

Very nice room. Well appointed but bar staff lacking. Very slow to take your order and very matter of fact. Would like to see a slightly larger dinner menu. Have stayed in better managed hotels. Wouldn't particularly want to go back.

Nice stay. Lots of parking, close to town. COVID-19 restrictions were a bit of a pain (no buffet breakfast), and shower flooded bathroom, but otherwise OK.

The receptionists were very welcoming and friendly. They went the extra mile to make my stay memorable. There were personalised touches in the room such as welcome cookies and water. The room itself was great. As it was very warm weather, my air con was already turned on in the room which was greatly appreciated. The lounge/bar area was spacious so you could choose to sit on a comfortable settee or on a table near an open door with the sea breeze flowing in. Overall a wonderful stay. Definitely recommended.

Had a delicious high tea as a delayed Mother’s Day treat. Fantastic wait staff, very generous portions, a great selection of teas and a beautiful backdrop. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxed social afternoon. A special shout out to Zara, the waitress from England who provided excellent, friendly service.

Love the aspect & decor of this hotel so chose for a romantic getaway. We had a waterfront spa room, changed to upstairs as the first room we were given was a bit dark and cramped and very overlooked by the restaurant and lounge. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the spa bath and heated bathroom floor. The air conditioning was noisy though and didn't warm the room well. We had the buffet breakfast which was tasty and the wait staff were friendly, but thought it a cheek we had to pay extra for tea or coffee.

Definitely one of the best quality hotels in Tauranga. Beautifully clean and tidy rooms, very comfortable, excellent staff. The food is a little pricey, but the quality is exceptional. You get what you pay for. All round great hotel with beautiful sea views, love it here.

Four of us had lovely meals tonight celebrating my wife's birthday. The staff were very good and attentive, especially Ash and Gavy. The complimentary bubbles was much appreciated. Great harbour views from the large windows of the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Incredible staff who are willing to help you and ensure your visit is magical. The food at the high tea was immaculate. It was light, fluffy and the flavour profiles were stunning. There are also a selection of teas that are utterly divine. The presentation and atmosphere was impeccable and the view helped transcend the afternoon. Such a lovely experience!

Great location & outlook, clean & well presented, friendly helpful staff. Well worth upgrading to a room with a harbour view. Would stay there again. However my colleagues room was at the rear and she did comment about the noise from the bank of air conditioning units on that side of the complex. Would have been 40m from my room, and I didnt hear a thing.

Only called in here on business and the staff were awesome. Very welcoming. Reception area is open and boasts stunning views over the harbor. Even though we're locals I would consider a weekend with my Wife here because she deserves such a beautiful place.

Rooms are tidy, location is great. We did however have problems with noise from a neighbouring rooms plumbing. It was so loud it woke us multiple times whenever they flushed their toilet, not something you expect when staying at a premium hotel

Wonderful Mother's day treat for me with family. Upmarket modern but relaxing waterfront setting, tastefully decorated. Bubbles and tea and savoury and sweet treats more than met my expectations..and I was gladly given a doggy bag to take home. Service was quiet ,discrete and friendly and attentive

Welcoming and friendly staff and service with a smile. Great coffee, beautiful waterfront location. It's nice to know that we are able to grab a coffee any time of the day as we often want coffee later in the day when many cafés are closed. I'll definitely be returning!

Had high-tea x3 today. Was nice and plenty of it. Good friendly service and good value. I would say the gluten free menu needs some work, and it should come out on a nice platter as the normal food. There was no finesse to the GF menu.

Hotel is going through some refurbishment, The new room are pretty good indeed. Very friendly and professional staff. Very nice view in the restaurant. Can watch sun raise. Highly recommended.

Myself and partner stayed here for one night (planned for my birthday). I was highly impressed with our night there along with the 5 course meal and breaky in bed. The food was amazing and the waiters were very professional and friendly. We were well looked after. The reception lady was also very prompt and helpful. Our room was also very cosy with a beautiful view. I highly recommend and will be back in the future 👌

Excellent value for money as we booked on booking.com - we stayed in one of the basic rooms but it was clean, spacious, airy (AC was on) and bright. Bathroom had a walk-in shower and big tub. Spacious for two people and location fab as it's close to the motorway so easy access to main Tauranga township, Mt Maunganui, Papamoa, beaches etc. Staff were super friendly, especially the cleaners. Lots of parking available.

This is the perfect place for business or pleasure. I had a room by the pool, and views out to the inner harbour. Just amazing. Staffing is very professional and swift in their approach. Beautiful facilities.The room was impeccably appointed, clean and fresh. It was a great stay for business. Can't wait to return

A lovely hotel with a wonderful harbour outlook. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location could not be improved upon. perfect for a quick and luxurious getaway. The restaurant serves lovely high tea and is generally high quality. I've been to several events here also and it is a good location for hosting medium sized events.

We had the best night here. Staff were awesome and so friendly. Room was clean and had everything you needed. Hairdryer, iron and board. A great experience here, would highly recommend

Nice motel and room. I found there was a lot of noise through the night where the rooms didn't double glazing or noise canceling insulation when positioned across the road of a train yard. The restaurant was ok but found the steak meal was very pricey for a steak and an average portion of potato gratin and two bits of broccoli for $45! I was expecting something quite special? The room was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom is a good size but the shower head wasn't right points straight down and not a fan. Asked for a change of pillow as per their in room brochure but they couldn't find them. Overall just a pass mark for this motel.

great place to stay rooms right over the water very comfortable and the food excellent great venue for celebrating weddings and many other events watch the sun greet you in a early morning rise.

Room was very spacious with a fantastic view over the water. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and fantastic spa bath. Not much privacy if you wanted to sit out on your verandah as it faces the restaurant. Food and drink prices are a little high.( we paid 30.00 for two bourbon and cokes in small glasses). Overall a nice hotel and only a few minutes walk to the local bars and restaurants.

Facility is pretty standard. The location is great with a cool breeze all day. Staff members ashish, vivek and the crew are super friendly and accommodating. Support local businesses !!

Rooms are nice and the staff were very friendly. Bar was great but food was average. The room we got looked on to the parking lot. This wasn't the what I was expecting when I looked at the booking pictures. Free parking is nice. Beds were comfortable. Heated tile floor. Shower is funky. Overall great but the view to the parking lot.

Fabulous stay. We had a room overlooking the harbour and saw many stingrays from our balcony. It was a smaller room than our friends, but I assume that was because of our outlook. We stayed for 2 days and ate in the restaurant on the last night, which again was exellent. Other reviews had put us off, but we really had no complaints at all. We have had some great meals during our 4 week stay and Trinity Wharf was up there with the best. Breakfast also highly recommended.

Stayed on 2nd floor overlooking water (therefore no train or parking lot issues), in a fairly recently updated room. Bed was very comfortable. Small patio (room for 2 adults only) to enjoy a glass of wine with the fab view. Our room included breakfast which was good with both hot and cold food. Gluten free options available too. Infinity pool on main floor beside that he conference rooms which look onto the pool patio. Infinity might be a stretch - it's not a very large or deep pool, and it seemed unheated which was a bummer since our weather wasn't great (not that they control it). AC in room worked and there was also a fan. The bathroom was a bit troublesome though. It is a room right off the bed, maybe a few feet at most, and the door is a sliding piece of frosted glass. No bathroom privacy at all so best be exceptionally intimate! The shower was good but a strange shape which left water all over the floor once finished. Housekeeping was prompt and the staff were all helpful and pleasant.

Had a nice stay here. The room was adequate the cleaning lady did an excellent job, the restaurant staff were really friendly and catered well for our grandson providing colouring pens for his entertainment. It was a grey old weekend no view but I’m sure on a sunny day looking over the water would be lovely.

The rooms are comfortable and well kept. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers some great views over the water. The infinity pool is a bit cool for getting into in the morning. The gym is good, but could do with someone around in case advise was needed. Free daily newspaper included with the room. Bubbly High tea was a little disappointing with only two types of sandwich included, but the cakes and scones were nice. The hotel is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the restaurants in the town centre.

4 star hotel with a 10 star view. We booked 1x habour delux spa package for $440 per night and boy were we suprised. This apartment goes over and beyond what we expected. The room is a bit small and there is no kitchenette but why would you have one when you have room service... Will definitely be back! Thank you Trinity wharf

Went to the Restaurant just for a coffee and snack. Coffee was average and the quick bite menu expensive for what was on offer. Harbour views were fantastic if you're looking for that whole dining experience

I love the warmth here. I'm sure you have been in a noisey restaurant, quite noticeable within 10 mins. There was only 1 or 2 tables vacant in the lounge and by the time we were eating dessert there was 10 or more people socializing at the bar as well..We could still have a conversation in a relaxed environment. Some great cocktails and a very good wine list, dominated by NZ wines. Favourites were the pate as a starter and the duck as a main. Two desserts, the tiramisu was my pick, great flavors. The brulee, pistachio, the biggest disappointment of the night. Overall service ok too.

Nice hotel. Modern with spacious room and large bathroom. A nice touch is the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Small infinity pool looks out over the harbour as does the lounge and the dining room. There is also an outside veranda for the dining room that hangs over the harbour. A great place for breakfast with the sunrise over the water.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay recently. Fantastic food and friendly wait staff. My room had a view of the car park, which was disappointing, so make sure you understand what view your room when you book. Other reviews have mentioned the rail line, but I didn't hear it. Car parking can be a problem. Good wifi, large rooms. I'd definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the beautiful Trinity Wharf Suite in the run up to our wedding and for our wedding night. The suite itself had floor to ceiling glass windows with incredible views, the bathroom was huge with a double spa bath, and the bed was really comfy. The room was perfect for getting ready in on the morning of the big day, and I seriously miss waking up to those views over the harbour! Thank you to the lovely staff for looking after us and being so welcoming.

Very awesome motel. Very luxurious. Some of the rooms have an awesome view unfortunately we booked late so had a view if the carpark. But a very beautiful motel. The restaurant overlooks the bay and Tauranga main street is 5 minutes walk. If your a big eater there is an awesome fish and chip shop just towards town. The food was lovely but a little bit small. There is a nice pool also and a jetty where you can arrange for a boat to pick you up. Beautiful place.

Had a room on the water. Woke up to sunrise across the lake. It was amazing. One of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. Food is delicious, have had many meals there on multiple occasions. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Although the hotel scenery doesn't look as good as what the picture advertised, the room I was in is considered above average with a king bed that can be split into double and the bathroom comes with a bathtub, a fully stocked mini bar and there's a safe box with a bathrobe in the cabinet. The bed and blanket is really warm which causes my sleepless night and there are noises from outside the corridor, people talking and going in and out of their room. Most of the normal room (not apartment) don't have a good view, but the apartment does.

Really friendly and helpful staff. We had an enormous and very private balcony to our room which had the sun all day. Beautiful and very comfortable rooms. I would definitely use trinity wharfe again. Thankyou to all the staff for making our stay very relaxing. This is not a budget hotel by the end of my stay I thought it was good value for money with a great service. Good luck trinity wharfe

Good weekend away room ok air con was really noisey but had to keep it on becouse it was hot in room outdoor pool not big enough for all guests that use it Food average

Excellent room overlooking the waterfelt like we were on a cruise ship. Plenty of car parks Some improvements would have boosted our enjoyment: Smiling and eye contact and a nice greeting on arrival would help. There are some great restaurants in the city if you choose to not eat at the hotel.

Walking distance to the Strand which is where a number of bars and restaurants are located. Room was spacious and really comfortable bed. They offer room service late until the night. Conference facilities and dining areas onsite. Nice pool available to swim in if the weather is good. Parking available onsite and is free,wifi also available.

I loved my stay here. It was just one night but the location was beautiful, the food great, the bed fantastic and staff very welcoming. I would go back any time and hope to.

The food was delicious (5/5) but sadly the wait staff let the establishment down (3/5) so I've given this an overall 4/5. Examples of disappointment include water glasses being filled with water being splashed over the edge... result was water stain drops on clothing. Three of our group were missed out when dessert orders were taken. However, the setting is spectacular and I'd go back again. Hopefully this was just a bad day and not a normal day.

This was a lovely hotel with a great breakfast.The bar area needs some cleaning and maintenance (wobbly tables).Reception loud voices impact on ambience of bar. Did not appreciate the 6am wake up call I did not order..However I would stay here again as it is a great setting .Peacefulness.

Stayed here a couple of times. Gorgeous Waterfront Hotel. This hotel shows you how to have a Breakfast with a View. The rooms are quite basic but big and cozy. Love the Floor heating feature of the Bathroom. The WiFi although high speed at first, did give me a lot of issues during my stay. Very tasty English breakfast served. Except for the Water facing rooms, the other side rooms feel dull coz you can only see the Car Park. I was unlucky to get the Car Park View, but hopefully my next visit in a weeks time I’ll get lucky. Hotel has got a huge parking space. 10 mins walk to the High street with lots of Cafes and Restaurants on offer. Hop on a bus and reach the Mount Maunganui Beach in 10-15 mins. Absolutely loved this place and would love to keep coming back again.

Ask for the room on the upper level with the view of the harbour. the lesser rooms may be less than flattering to stay in. Also, please bear in mind that the infinity pool is alot smaller than what it seems in the photos. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

My partner and I stayed at Trinity Wharf for Labour Weekend and we wanted to pass on how impressed we were with all of the staff we had the pleasure to deal with. The service we received was to a very high standard and many hotels should take a leaf from your book in regards to this. We would specially like to give our thanks to two staff in particular, Matthew on the bar in the evenings and Aadi on breakfast in the mornings. Both of these young men were exceptionally friendly, helpful and looked happy in their work. They made us feel very comfortable and are true assets to Trinity Wharf! Aside from the one lot of noisy guests on the Saturday night (which staff dealt with relatively quickly!), we found the rooms and facilities to be very comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were to the high standard represented on your website.. which was very refreshing! So, a big thanks to Trinity Wharf for providing us with the relaxing atmosphere we were looking for, we will be back!! :o)

A Good Nook. Tranquil, no fuss.

Stay for 2 nights . The room is good but the breakfast is not really nice , not too much food to eat and when i told them to heat my son’s food which I brought for him they said NO because they don’t help with any food not from them . Seriously???? I didn’t ask them to cook or to do anything take a long time , only put on the microwave and heat it but they still say NO . Even milk they won’t help to heat by microwave . So if you have a baby , think before book this hotel . I thought i will come back to stay in this hotel on the next trip cos I really like Tauraga , but now no way 🙃 . Anyway still love Tauranga .

Lovely place to stay, very accomodating and restaurant and staff fabulous

They have done well to scramble back post covid. There were initial issues that they kind of addressed, but have a way to go to get back to the 5 star realm. I wish them the best, but they missed the point of the reason for my revisit, that was made explicit. I hope they can bounce back.

Business trip in September for 6 days. The hotel is lovely and clean with all the nice little touches but beware they try and charge you for absolutely everything. , including the plunger coffee (no label on it to advise you of this). I travel frequently and am so used to this being complimentary, I didn't even think to check the mini bar price list. To be honest, that was minor compared to the sleep deprivation. Awful room location. couple of issues there, the first being the very loud noise from the aircon and staff going in and out of the door leading out to the conference storage area. It was a week of broken sleep in a tiny single bed with curtains that did not block out the headlights of the cars parking right outside my window, unfortunately. Still the bed was comfy and shower water pressure was awesome as well! The other issue I had was on checking out, I found that my bill was almost twice the amount it should have been as I had been charged for full Buffett breakfast, on top of the coffee I had each morning. Considering, I also ordered a bakery basket each day, I would think that it would have been picked up as I was travelling solo. Lucky I was paying attention, because I almost paid. But then low and behold, my invoice was then reissued, with an extra breakfast charge again. I understand computer issues but surelt it wouldn't hurt for staff to confirm the charges *before* printing an invoice that's over by more than $120...? Despite the issues I had, I'd still stay there again but I'd be requesting a room well and truly away from 139 especially if staying over 2 nights at most.

Nice quiet rooms, very clean. Lovely view of the wharf if you get the right room. Only let down were the tiny holes and light bleed in the curtains.

OMG!!!! Absolutely fantastic place to stay at! Great great service! Jake - who looked after our table at the restaurant was switched on, friendly, honest and very present to our dining needs. Manpreet at front desk was also helpful and accurate with info, especially re: the NYE fireworks tonight! Loved this hotel - highly highly recommended!!

This is a very stylish and well appointed hotel, right on the edge of picturesque Tauranga harbour. On site lounge bar and restaurant, conference rooms, gym, pool. Comfortable and modern rooms. Walking distance to the Tauranga CBD and shopping area.

The hotel is a short walking distance from the Tauranga CBD and close to the expressway to Mt Maunganui. I imagine a lot of people travel and stay for for weddings and party's so again could be improved. Premium Waterview Spa, this room type was spacious and had a monster sized deck off the room.

Coming to Tauranga and staying at this gorgeous hotel was just marvelous. A reasonably easy walk ***** the water front to the shops and restaurants. We had originally asked to all be in the same block since we were a wedding party but they had us on all different floors which was quite annoying.

Really nice hotel! Breakfast, drinks, rooms and service were excellent. The only tiny negative for us was that we were in a room at the far end of the hotel so WiFi signal was weak. Would definitely recommend.

The place was really nice, and we enjoyed nearly every moment of it. However, because we stayed in the summer and the air con isn't very good the room became really hot and made it tough to get to sleep.

We had a great weekend in Tauranga and a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was clean, tidy. We had to walk through a few sets of doors to get to our room, past the resident apartments which was weird and I can imagine how annoying that must be for the owner of the apartment.

Handy to town. Close to the mount. The road is not too busy. Easy to get on to main highways. Lots of places to walk. Pool. Gym. Friendly staff. Lots of activity around.

The room itself and the breakfast the next morning were good but I were to look to stay here again I would be requesting to stay away from room. The staff are a credit to the Trinity Wharf. The location is excellent especially on a fine day, looking out over the water.

My most recent visit with a small group found a change in familiar faces and an unfortunate experience with a young sullen receptionist. Late night noise and partying was not dealt with when raised. Their attitude was confrontational and generally very unhelpful not what you expect st 268 per night.

Passages through to rooms need to get rid of all the jail like doors; heavy and quite daunting and too many...feels like walking through an asylum. Access into hotel from back car park needs to be sorted as there isn't any...a swipe card for guests would do it. Parking atrocious. You pay alot of money to walk right around a building back to front reception to get in...really!!!

Dined at Halo restaurant. We really enjoyed our food and the service was top notch. Portions were a bit on the small side for the price but this did mean we had space for dessert, which was delicious.

Fantastic hotel. Best in Tauranga. Very central. 5 minute walk to waterfront restaurants. Great rooms and very friendly staff. Small gym and a good pool.

The nicest restaurant I've been to in New Zealand for the food and impeccable service a small but comprehensive menu and a view across the harbour....nice to relax in the lounge before dinner. Will definitely be going again for special occasions 😁

Nice hotel. Large room but lacking amenities like moisturisers and cotton buds... Room also doesn't have Sky TV. But views are great.

I stay hete from time to time. Its a very nice hotel situated on tbe water in Taursnga Harbour. It had all the facilities you need & is walking distance to restaurants, cafes etc. Polote amd professional staff will greet you & the rooms are alway nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Its a great spot for work stays or a romantic getaway.

Hi Guys I am here at the Trinity Wharf Hotel a day this a beautiful property. It's on the water front and a very short walk to shops. Value for money reasonable. Staff very attentive to us even though they had conferences in house at the time and were very busy.

Hotel room was very impressive. Bathroom was brilliant with a heated floor. Only let down was the breakfast staff service.

Beautiful setting, lots of light and space, great views of the harbour, and a phenomenally helpful restaurant staff to make eating out with dietary requirements a great experience.

Comfortable, quiet, very clean. Halo restaurant is over-priced for my liking .. $75 for a meal and drink (not big portions). Otherwise recommended.

Lovely hotel, sadly couldn't swim in the afternoon as a wedding was on, then pool was closed at 7.30pm😒

Trinity Wharf: Warm greeting from all staff. Easy access to city centre and shopping precinct. There was no security in the elevators so anyone could just walk in and head on up to the rooms. Some people may like hearing the rumble of large trucks going over the bridge all night.

I have stayed twice at this very pleasant hotel. The rooms overlooking the harbour are gorgeous and make me feel very special and lucky. The restaurant is excellent.

Nice views of the marina (and the hiway from some rooms). Quiet, clean rooms. Modern decor. A bit tricky to find with the GPS. Good size outdoor pool. Short drive to Mt Maunganui.

Beautiful hotel but charged for a movie we did not watch. They admitted saying that their movie provider system is sensitive. Had to fight and argue to get a refund.

Rooms are clean, comfortable and tidy. Room rates a little on the high side for what they are. Restaurant is over priced and average. Unfortunately there is not a lot of choice in Tauranga.
