The staff are almost as good as the food! Super friendly and a great chat. Arguably had one of the best coffees iv ever had there. If you're there for breakfast definitely try the waffles and for dinner don't skip on the burgers! Chicken burger was amazing albeit not the cheapest. Definitely stop at the general store if you're needing a meal in Waitomo!

Absolutely amazing experience with the staff here and to top it off a $6 dollar lasagna pie that absolutely blew my expectations. No vax required as it's attached to essential business and a lovely outdoor seating area. Serves alcohol from 5-7 by my understanding

Stopped here for Dinner because the recommended Huhu was closed, and what luck as the food was delicious. I had the mashed potato, carrot and parsnip and cauliflower steak yum it was amazing and a veggie lovers dream. My husband had bacon wrap chicken, mash and salad, which he said was awesome. The staff were super friendly and the food amazing. Thank you. We would definitely recommend.

Bacon and egg pie was good. Soup of the day was good. Kids cheeseburger was average. Overall not a bad place to stop. Wouldn't say it's any better or more reasonably priced than the cafe within Waitomo caves. And the Waitomo cave Cafe has amazing architecture.

Fast and friendly service. My beef burger was hot and yummy (with real bacon) and the strawberry milkshake was perfect. The cafe is warm and tidy, and the bathrooms are clean. A great place to stop.

Lovely place offering cabinet food, fresh baking plus a menu of meals and hot options. Large seating areas of tables and chairs, couches/table; even a pool table and an outside deck. Licensed for beer/alcohol. Good food, friendly service. A few groceries and gifts; a one-stop shop!

Coffee is always hot and exactly how I like it (super picky!). Food is well priced and the staff are such amazing people. Kim your a star! Couch chairs are great for a lazy coffee morning and the tables are a great height for my kids to eat from. Highly recommended.

He counter service was great. The food was angling tome coming out and there wasnt many customers dining. An old guy bailed my husband up at the door when leaving and told him our kids were too noisy on their seats. Dont know who he was, possibly a moaning old local but it out us off going back.

Lovely food and friendly staff.The staff unfortunately had to deal with a Karen who decided to create a scene because they wouldn't give her a free refill. It was rather uncomfortable experience, but at no fault of the staff, who were very professional in their handling of such a demanding customer.

I have to say this one of the warmest and friendly businesses I visited while I was in the Waikato. The food and coffee more than lived up to expectations - Yum!!. I can honestly say I was treated like family. I will visit again whenever I'm in the area.
