I'd share a pic of my delicious Eggs Benny, but it was that delicious I gobbled it all up. Fresh, beautifully presented. 2 eggs, lots of bacon, spinach and tomato, served on 2 ciabatta buns - $14.95 BARGAIN!

We had a beautiful breakfast here( I had the veggie eggs Benedict with avocado and mushrooms). It was absolutely delicious, it was beautiful presented!! Also the staff is super friendly! Definitely recommend it for good quality and yummy food!

Thames is blessed with many quality cafes. However - as an avid chicken pie fan - I could not go past Food for Thought. The award winning, chicken and vegetable pie was great. The coffee just as good and the staff were very friendly. Pretty good experience all round - thanks

Lovely food and mocha and like a few Cafe's here in Thames you can sit in or out in a courtyard ...... They were very busy but it didn't take long for our order to arrive

Went for breakfast. A nice cafe. Good selection of food. This place also served the best coffee I have had for ages ( normally only drink All Press). Lady who served us was super friendly and my eggs on toast yum! My partner even went back for lunch.

Cafe has a inviting decor and is located on the main road in Thames. Staff were friendly and helpful. Has a great selection of pies, cakes, slices and salads. They also have a black board menu which I ordered from. My food was very good and reasonably priced. Would certainly drop in next time I'm passing through.

Good coffee & range of good food on display. Certainly keep going to them. Was a bit coolish out in their dining area but there were wall mounted bar heaters that could have been turned on if required.

The eggs Benedict was great however the cappuccino let things down and was one of the worst with barely any milk or froth plus bitter coffee and so hot the tongue was burnt. The eggs got a 3.5 but the cappuccino a 0 out of 5

After a morning drive from Auckland all one cares for a good caffeine for alertness and a good breakie and this place got all 5* for that! I was recommended a 'filo egg'.... a creation that I never had before. Combination of egg, spinach and tomato baked to the perfection was not only yummy but very moist I wish if I could eat two :-). Mind you this review came from someone who avoid eating eggs in cafes because of the egg wash and I didn't taste or smell any! And to further add to their food, I think they do great pies too. In nearly 20 min while I was enjoying great food, they sold if not more at least 10 pies 😎.

Brilliant little sandwich bar. We ate in having eggs Benedict and an omlett, both of which we're excellent. Stumbled on by chance but sadly only visiting NZ otherwise I'd have gone back for their BLAT sandwich (warm blt with avocado) which sounds amazing.
