1st tym visit, nicely unique & vry relaxing, gr8 coffee, food & staff, highly recommended

Set in an old Victorian two stored mixed use building, it has a lovely traditional feel of days gone bye. I loved my sandwiche, it was ace.

3 Stars is very low for me, unfortunately our food was quite tasteless, the bacon chewy, & the hash browns soggy, & delivered cold due to the staff not keeping up with the 8 or so people ordering at once. We hope the staff can get the food to a better level as the coffee was great, and the cafe was in a great location & really well decorated. Will definitely return only for the coffee at this stage.

A visit to Arthur St Kitchen is not just about the excellent food and drink. It is a step back in time. Love the two rooms which are original and Victorian. Love the art exhibitions. Love the welcoming and friendly staff. A multifaceted experience!

First time visit. Friendly staff, reasonable price. Was busy when I was there around 7.30am. My scrambled eggs on toast was nicely cooked. The toasted bread was a bit thin though.

Good food and a nice atmosphere. You walk in past the counter/kitchen. Order your food and go sit down. Then discover that there are other rooms to sit in. Just nook after cranny. Fantastic.

Lovely little cafe. Got pretty busy in the morning with people ordering their pre-work coffees. I had an awesome croque monsieur - which was enjoyable to order while not sounding too pretentious. And it was absolutely delicious - heaps of cheese and ham on wholemeal sourdough bread. Highly recommended.

The place is kinda old fashioned and quirky. Nice though. Food pretty good and got that home made taste and appearance about it. Can be noisy at times but hey its a good wee cafe with good staff and food. What more do you want.

Loved coming here with my wife! Formally a house, now converted into a cafe, it has everything, a wide range of foods to sort dietary requirements, even a cozy little grass spot out the back if inside gets a little too loud. Can't wait to come back!
