A.Home made pies - Steak and Mushroom is worth stopping for!

P.Small town kiwi bakery cafe, typical of the type. Tasty pies - decent filling and flakey pastry. Coffees were a good size, and the the food and drinks were very reasonably priced (two coffees, two pies, four savories, $22!). Good spot to grab a quick bite.
T.Nice tasting bakery goods that are well priced. Clean and tidy inside. The venue was spacious and staff friendly
K.As per usual... this place has beautiful tasting food , my son had the small box chicken and chips while I had the steak an mushrooms pie ...well,both of these were out standing an my son was saying that it was the best chicken he has had ,an he is fussy !! The chips were delicious as well as hot .
I love stopping at this place
Oh and my large flat white was perfect
We enjoyed our stop once again!!

P.Great choice of cabinet food and meals to order. Not fancy food but well priced food. Wasn't impressed with the coffee but it was ok and I'm not going to take points off for ok coffee in a place that's got over 8 flavours of pie, 10 sandwich flavours and m&m cookies. This is the place I would stop with a family. Also, they have the best view of the dog and sheep while you eat your lunch.
E.Great stuff, huge selection, I had the chicken wrap and potatoe top pie and a kransky, son had eggs benedict, absolutely loved all of it. Bacon on the benny was delicious, eggs not as runny as it could be but very good anyway. Visited on 11/Nov at about 1pm. Highly recommended for selection and pricing. Very nice.

Went here again on the way back to Auckland and they gave my big breakfast to someone else which resulted in me getting a small breakfast and being told I only got charged for a small breakfast which they realized was wrong once I started adding up what I brought. Eventually got my extras but maybe next time they could use those little numbers Cafe's hand out so they don't make these kind of mistakes.
A.Always stop at Ronnie's when passing through Tirau. A good bakery overall. You can also buy your food and wander over to the playground next door if you have kids.

k.Lovely place for coffee on the road passing through on the way to auckland. Lovely and clean apart from a cheeky bird who enjoyed a cake on the counter, glad wrapping around the cake didnt stop the bird packing is way through to the lovely cake inside

D.It was a convenient place to meet friends for breakfast. The cooked breakfasts were average but kept us going for the rest of the day. Would I come again? Possibly.
M.The wait is okay the price of the food is not bad too. The location of the cafe is close to the bus stop. The staffs are friendly too however fare warning don't get the desserts especially their blue berry cheese cakes as its way too sweets. Looks can be deceiving...
