Food and drinks were very delicious. Chicken was moist and crunchy, not drenching in oil. Brioche bun was toasted beautifully. The fried egg was perfect- with runny yolk, which I liked. The salad was also very tasty. Double win for the drinks that were served with a marshmallow and a chocolate fish! But servers don't smile :( The toilets were also a bit dirty. One had lights that weren't working.

Stopped here randomly after going for a for around the area and glad we stopped by here. The service was good and our breakfast was delicious and so was our hot drinks. We also took some cookies to takeaway which tasted just as good. Great selection of food in there menu and in the food capnet that i need to come back again and try there lunch menu.

Unassuming on the outside, you could easily pass by. Don't! BEAUTIFUL breakfast, attentive and friendly staff, nice toilets, fun cups for your tea, this is my new favourite place. Stop by. They even have old books for sale for a dollar. Quirky and awesome. Perfect start to our road trip ❤

A wonderful place a super calm and tasty breakfast. The ambience there is simple perfect to to enjoy a good brekkie and read a book. I would recommend the brioche French toast a good cup of flat white. They have some really good egg options too. Definitely a must try if you driving to Hamilton

Ate here for brunch. I don't really go there much, but, I should change that. The meal and service was great. Kids meals are awesome, I really liked the presentation and selection offered for the kids. All the meals bought for myself and others were also well presented and well cooked, very tasty or at least mine was.

I liked the place and the amount of choice they have but as mentioned in other reviews, the waitresses don’t smile and are not very welcoming. The sweets are really really really well sugary. So be careful with small ones because they are in for a rush like never before. I also did not understand why they warmed up the kids cupcake. Apart from that it was still a good experience

Chez Bean is a wonderful cafe on the main street of Tuakau. The cafe is warm and comfortable and the meals nicely varied from normal fare with excellent coffee. Parking is on the street or behind the cafe. The staff are also very welcoming and it is my favourite eatery in the area.

Had a lovely latte and hot chocolate today. The hot chocolate came with a mini biscuit, marshmallow and chocolate fish. The latte was good and hot, but as it came in a glass, was difficult to hold. Great friendly staff who came to check if we were happy, which is unusual in a cafe.
