Food always good, kind and courteous service. Their chicken quiche is delicious. My favourite meal there is the lamb chops. They do great hot chocolate.

Yummy goodness. Delicious meal & presentation, lovely coffee. Enjoying it outside in the nice sun, excellent customer service. Very busy but they were quick at serving people & getting the food out on time! :D

me and wife make it a weekend treat and the meals are always very good with big portions and great prices,staff are always pleasent.totally reccomend this place,you will come out full.

Clean and tidy but three people walked in did not scan and no face masks Not good enough.

Food was ok-ish but over priced and they microwave there scrambled eggs.. thats a no go right there.woll try somewhere else nxt time.

Love The Bakehouse, staff are so friendly, I'm a caregiver and I bring my client in for breakfast, they always acknowledge him, chat with him, they all say goodbye to us when we leave. Fantastic place, highly recommend.

Yummy yummy 😋, can’t believe how great the selection of different food options there were. So much meat as well. Nothing worse than going somewhere for roast and getting hardly any meat. We went at 6.30pm Saturday night. Maybe they had a busy rush before us but when we went in there was just us and really messy tables and floor. Food and service excellent.

This is a neat shop, the staff are extremely hard working to bring out more seletion of food then you could imagine. Their prices are very reasonable for the size of the meals. They serve a range from roasts to sandwiches . I also highly recommend their coffees. Overall they are a great shop and would be ideal if your wanting a good solid feed as your money goes a long way here.

Another value for money family run Bake House in Upper Hutt who also do excellent family roasts inhouse or takeaway. The small pork roast comes with crackle, roast pumpkin, potatoes and Kumara for $11. This meal easily fill up a hungry. Customer service is great.

Sounds cliche I know but Good variety and quality of food at very reasonable prices. Love this shop. Staff were friendly enough and would visit more frequently if I lived here. Make sure you guys keep your front of house clean always, keep those tables clear and clean to make a good first impression.

Always reliable good food

Good meals, great roasts any day of the week (pork -great crackling, all good veges & gravy) lamb & mint, beef & horseradish ! Chicken and fish also available. Range of breakfast meals and lunch food (sandwiches, snacks, cakes and sweet things) All usual drinks, tea by the pot coffee in all usual forms, shakes and coke etc. Service is a bit shy, decore a bit blah, seats by the front door might as well be outside. Toilet is halfway down on left and average. But "NO ONE" leaves hungry . .

One of the finer bakeries down Main Street in Upper Hutt, and it serves roasts! Serves sandwiches, filled rolls, pies (and assortments of pastries) and chicken/pork roasts. Staff are friendly and prices are pretty much bang on with the other bakeries. A trendy crowd always fills the seats and they have great outdoor seating. If you do find yourself at the Bakehouse Cafe and roasts is to try the double happy, a double sized sausage roll which is quite frankly one of the best if ever had.

Delicious pork roast sandwich - that crackling is on point. Nice selection and variety of food - hot, cold, savoury and sweet. Value for money.

Very good value service friendly

Very nice clean and tidy shop, very busy and appears very popular with the locals, good plain cooking that is well priced, staff are polite and helpful,

Order a large roast lamb takeaway with a few details in its make up. What I got was a very helpful lady double checking with me that each item, was as requested. Which it was thank you.

This is pretty much my go-to bakery now. The food is exactly what you'd expect for the price you pay, and the staff are very friendly and always smiling when I go in. They make a lovely Soy hot chocolate as well! 🙃😋😎

Steak eggs and salad. A go to meal when u dont feel like cooking. The team in there are wonderful and know exactly how i like. Phone orders work amazing.. Done when u get there. Hot and yummy... Thank u :))

The Bakehouse has a really good selection of foods including sandwiches, cakes, savories, fried foods, and cooked meals. Their cooked meals in particular are at good prices. They are open every day til late. Great to pop into for a roast meal or rolled cream pancakes!

Try the quiche you'll love it.

Good solid old school Cafe. The potato top pie was good. A few oldies getting the roast and tables 3/4 full so obviously popular with locals.

Hands down the best bakery cafe I've been to, the service was very polite and most importantly the food was amazing. Me and my partner very much enjoyed it, we'll definitely be coming back.

Best roast house in town

Better today. Lady waitress wasn't rude for change she was polite and appolgised for not serving as I was in que waiting, man replied to her and said the lady wanted to buy a drink.

awesome bakery! heaps of food and its all good quality unlike some bakerys iv visited, only giving it 4 stars cause it needs more selections without cheese in it
