It was pretty hard to choose as there were so many yummy sounding flavours. Peppermint Chocolate is an absolute favorite tho and this one was delicious.

We've loved Island Gelato Company for many years, both on Waiheke and Auckland CBD. Thank you for all the effort put into the presentations on each icecream which really meet our needs for beauty and delicious food, as well as fun for our family. We've experienced only excellent friendly caring service. We're grateful for your company and the contribution you make to the community. Great range of delicious ice creams. Worth a visit albeit not every day given prices are quite high

We went there today on our way to the ferry. Amazing ice creams, very friendly and smiling staff. Definitely recommended

My memories of an ice cream cake are those bland plain things you'd get from the supermarket. I've tried two different ones from Island Gelato, and they shattered my expectations, a log style and a round expresso martini. The multiple flavour layers are such that you want to be able to taste each one singly, then mix it up a little. The layers of the cake, with the cakey base and the hard white chocolate transcend regular cakes. Also, the rum and raisin gelato is far too good, it's ruined me, I can't eat the tip top version ever again, it just tastes like disappointment now.

Good variety of flavors, some of which are fairly unique. Just be careful with chocolate flavors as it seems to melt very fast compared to other flavors.

Best place to grab ice-cream on a hot day in Waiheke! Big variety of flavours to select from and I am confident that not one will disappoint! Will be back for sure

Extremely nice ice cream. What I like about them is that you can actually taste the flavours and not the sugar first. I tried the whiskey chocolate truffle one and it was beautiful! The single cone is really big too so beware and be prepared! I’ll definitely come back there next time I’m on the Island

A perfect refresher in between daytime activities. The mint chocolate chip was definitely a winner and if I get to go back again I think the pineapple mojito will likely be the one to try. I go for the cone every time but if you’re in the middle of summer the a cup might be more advisable to contain the drippage.

Yogourt lemon & thyme shortbread flavor ice-cream is a world’s best!

Big scoops, so don't overdo your order! Excellent quality and flavours - my favourites are the Peanut Butter and the Black Doris Plum. Superb!

Best gelato. Inspired flavours like Black Doris plum with Hibiscus. Or Whiskey Chocolate. Always the first stop on any trip to Waiheke. Even when the line is long the service is fast and friendly.

Okay, for from anything special. Had much better from worse places. Service was good though.

The most amazing gelato I have ever tasted. Top three flavours from a real foodie : Pistachio, onetangi apple, plum.

I'm a big fan of the ice cream here! Stopped by for a quick bite and was very impressed with the ice cream! A little costly for what it is but great ice cream none the less. I'd recommend a visit so you can judge for yourself. Huge variety but the basics done very well.

You can't leave the island without trying this gelato! It's really good. I've enjoyed the toasted hazelnut and mascarpone with berries flavours which are so good. It's a must if you are visiting the island on a warm and sunny day! Easy find as it's closed to Wharf and there are other places close by were to do shopping.

I've tasted a LOT of bagels in my time.. but this little baby won my heart and dazzled my palate. Perfectly toasted sesame bagel with nicely balanced portions of cream-cheese, sweet Maui Onion, peppered smoky salmon and piquant capers. A drizzle of lemon adds the high notes for a vibrant symphony of flavours and textures. Natural Cola over crushed ice with cool beats on a hot Waiheke day made this experience a Keeper. BRAVO, you guys ROCK!!

Definitely one of the top gelato spots in all of Auckland, not just Waiheke. We had the peanut butter brittle and the cold pressed coffee flavors, both highly recommended.

Superb Gelato. MANY flavours, all are boutique made. If you like Gelato/ icecream/sorbet then it is a must. Even if you are not a fan (and I do not eat ordinary icecream), still highly recommend it.

The best ice cream I have ever had. Unbelievably smooth texture and low in fat, I recommend the dark chocolate flavor, and salty caramel.

Ice cream is really good, but too expensive for just a tiny ball, in my opinion. But in a hot day like the one we got, it was almost mandatory 😅

Great cafe/ice cream shop. Serves a big range of fantastic gelato and sorbet. Also serves nice coffee and bagels. Some outside seating to eat in the sun is available, but generally it is pretty busy, especially in summer.

After a nice long walk up to Stony Batter on a warm spring day, we could not resist trying the local gelato. It's housed in a shipping container on the main drag on Oneroa. The selection was not vast, those on offer were a bit different from the run of the mill varieties. I had the mango and lime, which was very enjoyable. While we sat licking away, the queue seemed never to end, such a good sign.

I was served by Phoebe and the Gelato was out of this world- YUM :))
