I.Strata is no rush cafe at Waihi beach, took over 30 minutes to cook us breakfast at non busy time. Coffee and tea was quick though. Big portions, eggs on toast with salmon is ok, a bit dry, some tomato chutney would do magic for this dish. My french toast was delicious.
N.As you walk into Cafe Strata you are greeted by the beautiful aroma of home baking, hot coffee and a warm smile from the friendly man behind the counter. We had the home made pies - steak and mushroom - the steak and cheese were already sold out so must be a favourite. Absolutely delicious, great coffee and excellent service. Would come here again!
k.Spending a few weeks just down the road .Iv been alittle greedy because the gluten free carrot cake muffins are amazing ,iv had 3 in less then a week .the coffee is perfect and the staff friendly and inviting .ill have to try the other gf offers soon.

M.Beautiful food but no atmosphere. It was small, closed up and stuffy (in January) and no music was playing. The only thing that could be heard was the hum of only fridge and people whispering awkwardly trying to have private conversations as everyone listened in. We ordered the beef burger, BLT, wedges and a bowl of fries. The burgers were very substantial, but the beef burger had egg shells in it. The wedges were a smaller portion (and cheaper) which suited perfectly. Usually they're huge servings that leave you feeling bloated with indigestion. The food was beautiful but music would have completed the experience wonderfully. The staff were lovely.
D.Excellent coffees at good prices. Pies were great. I didn't get to choose the flavour, but wrapped up the mince and cheese and steak and cheese, and they were both excellent.

L.We went not long before closing time and the service was friendly. The coffee great, and our food was fresh. I particularly enjoyed their caramel slice. Definitely will return.
A.Cool little cafe, staff are friendly. Has gluten free options! Their vanilla and blue berry gluten free cake is absolutely a must!

M.Great food, great coffee, great friendly staff, casual laid back good old kiwi beach service, wonderful! what more could one ask for, I'll definitely be back! The Moroccan chicken wrap is a winner! All the food is obviously home made with that level of flavour and freshness superb!

D.Coffee was average, just not to my personal liking. Food was really good. We had a burger with fries, nachos and chicken nuggets with fries which were all well done with generous serving sizes.
Cost was cheaper than other places around.

P.Absolutely delicious. I had the Moroccan Chicken Wrap. Superb, and the coffee wasn't bad either. Great little seaside cafe.
R.My drink was very nice( amm) not sure the other like there but I did ask if they could put in more ice in mine. Detox berries, smoothie .They did say that their drinks were coffee, for hot coffee. Go check it out try.

K.Very long wait today for a pot of tea and brunch. French toast was very disappointing. Banana cut in half length wise. Then placed down side on the hot plate till very slightly browned. Arrived in front of us with skin on and no heated all the way though. Why no just slice it and brown all the slices and warm it though.
Eggs Benedict with a beautiful poached egg and unfortunately fridge cold salmon on the top.
