Firstly 10/10 to the chef , Barista perfect, serving staff excellent . Eggs Beni.. spot on, eggs and toast perfect( my presence is little more runnier egg white) .coffees superb( me being not a coffee person I really enjoyed mine). Must Visit if in and around Waihi

Honestly, the presentation of food is not good. However, the flavor is die for. I know I’m really fussy about food, but still brought my family here twice in two days when we were in Waihi. Highly recommend their sausages! It’s one of the best I have had in Cafe.

Wow. Great service and great food. The chef even came out of the kitchen to discuss what was safe to eat for someone who is gluten free. The tea was served in a cute cup and teapot set. Kids loved there food too. Thank you.

Went on a girls weekend trip and we stopped here first for breakfast which all of us girls enjoyed🙂i ordered a scroll & Iv never tasted such love in a simple looking scroll, was the best!! It was so good I took another one before hitting the road😁the owner was so lovely she offered to give it for free ! We felt a warm welcoming lovely vibe from her and also the lovely people behind the counter thank you for a lovely experience ❤️

It was 1 of the BEST Eggs Benedict I've had... The sauce was so good, the muffins were soft and bacon cooked perfectly for my taste... Coffee was a little expensive for the size...

Have to say the service was great, friendly and humorous, a really great vibe! The food was delicious to say the least. We had a slice from the cabinet and ordered off the menu too. Reasonable wait for a delicious meal, well worth it and reasonable price too. Definitely would recommend this cafe, oh best hot drinks I ever had too ☺️

Love Gold Rush Cafe! Food is a reasonable price, you can even ask for half portions of some things! Always tasty, hot and fresh. Love their iced tea and iced chocolates. Even when they are super busy (esp now during school holidays) their service is still fast and efficient. 100% will always recommend this cafe! Staff are always super accommodating to your needs :) Remember everyone to be kind to hospo workers! not as easy as it seems ;)

I always visit this cafe when I'm going out for lunch. Haven't found a place that has topped their Eggs Benny. Prices are great as well as the coffee. Will never stop recommending this cafe!! Oh and they have the best slices/cakes :)
