M.The tastiest kiwi treats we’ve had in a long time. Yummy toasted sandwiches, wonderfully fresh fish and chips and delicious homemade kiwi burgers. We stopped for a quick coffee and ended up enjoying every meal of our stay with Bron. Thank you, we will be back for sure.

A.Surprisingly good little general store for such a sleepy village. The owner is lovely and hospitable. I haven't tried the food yet but will definitely give it a go next time.

S.Awesome little general store that does everything from coffees to burgers and fish and chips along with all the usual items you'd expect at your local corner dairy. The staff are cool and the place is super cute. They even do scoop ice creams!
P.I had a really great coffee, and a delicious burger, I chose the ' flash as' which is the chicken bacon and brie on a brioche bun, it was so good, I'll definitely be going back soon!
A.Bought a variety of things from here over a couple of days- bacon and egg roll, sausage roll, fish and chips, ice blocks and coffees.

K.The best beach shop in NZ!!! Gets better every year too, Bronwyn and her team make the most delicious food, from classic fish & chips, to burgers, breakfasts and baked delights with yummy coffee. Also stocked with all the things you need for a day at the beach. Definitely stop in, even if you're not staying at the Toa!
P.Great little holiday town store. Takes me back in time to the Rachel Hunter trumpet add, (different store but same vib..) Good coffee, good takeaways and friendly service.
A.Pretty disappointing to have driven specifically down to Whiritoa for fish & chips on the beach, to be told, just after 7.30pm that 'orders had closed'. So much for 8pm closing. Not like there are other options in Whiritoa, so home to start cooking dinner. Great!
(The food has previously been great, but today sucked, service wise!)
C.This cozy cafe is probably the best cafe i've been to in new zealand, delicious food with lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options at no surcharge prices. Try the stoked burger, the toasts and the milkshakes. The owner Bronwyn is an absolute funny angel too. Thanks for everything, your chilean children ;)

K.Just had the most delicious and generously proportioned sausage roll I've ever had....ever. I do believe that will see me through till dinner time where I may just head back and indulge in another of their tasty treats on offer there......the warm ambience of the store is only matched equally by the lovely woman I assume is the owner. A must to see, taste and experience......the store that is. A true, typically kiwi store that I sincerely hope the owner is proud of.
