C.Wow wow wow. I love coming to Joe & Joy! I always have a great experience and such wonderful service. Polite and welcoming staff, a gorgeous look and feel of the interior, and incredible food! If you go to Joe & Joy I have a few recommendations for you! Be sure to try their pies (golden homemade pastry - Yum!) delicious burgers, and you certainly can’t go wrong with one of their gorgeous mini cakes. Joe & joy is not only my local, but my favourite!
P.First time visit. Daughter recommended the place (she's a local, I'm not). Wasn't disappointed. Food was delicious (so much deliciousness to choose from), coffee was excellent 👌. Staff were pleasant & polite. Well worth visiting if you haven't, definitely be going back ...
R.Young, enthusiastic and kind staff. The eatery is well maintained, modern, trendy and clean. The colour selection of the walls is calming and I advise waiting if there are no tables. Tables come quickly available. The food and drinks are served quickly and the meals are very delicious and there is a variety of dishes on the menu to choose from. My large latte and lunch was very satisfying and we enjoyed having lunch here as a family. Thank you!
S.I ordered some cakes for my Nana’s birthday to be delivered to her while I’m stuck at home with Covid. They arrived in under 24hrs and made such a special treat for Nana to wake up to. Thank you so much to the team at Joe and Joy - I can’t express how grateful I am.
L.First time here. The coffee was excellent, which was a relief because I'm so fussy but the CINNAMON ROLLS!!! OMG, it was like eating a bite of heaven. It's been a long time since anything so tasty was in my mouth.
M.My partner and I tried this through delivereasy and the food was amazing we had the beef burger and breakfast burger, kumara fries, steak n cheese pie and chocolate shake and snickers shake everything was delicious and the fries were cooked to perfection. The snickers shake tastes sooooo good and the pie is a cheese lovers dream. The pattie to the beef burger was so mouth watering and even though it's a lil pricey it's definitely worth all the money. J.I have used Joe & Joy on a few occasions for custom cake orders and have found their staff very friendly/helpful. Their cakes have always been delicious and to a high standard. I recently encountered a bit of miscommunication around an order which was dealt with very quickly and in a professional manner.

S.It was a lovely surprise that I landed while on my way to New Plymouth from Wellington. A quaint bakery located in Otaki, this place offer amazing bakes and a range of breakfast options. I had chocolate eclair and Eggs Benedict. Was absolutely glorious. I would definitely recommend you to stop by if you happen to pass by Otaki. Bon appetit.
