Amazing coffee - well worth the short detour from SH1. Easy walking distance from the EV charger in town. Waipu is a lovely spot.

Had saved this cafe spot from an article I read. Friendly conversation with the owners who are doing their bit for sustainable living. Given a choice between 2 coffee blends and I opted for the chocolate flavour.. my long Mac was fantastic. I had two! Also decided on a banh mi. Delicious and fresh! Everything is made on site. I’m very happy I stopped and will return!

There is a reason why this coffee place has only 5 stars this is the best coffee place I have ever been to. The coffee is so good if you are driving past waipu take the 5 minutes to get the coffee you will be happy you did.

I've been trying to think all day of another word (or words) to describe "absolutely awesome" & "frecking delicious", but alas I can't... So.. Ricky's coffee is absolutely awesome and frecking delicious! I HIGHLY recommend that you pop in and grab some (and a nibble of home cooked yumminess!!!).
