Generous portion sizes. The bacon still had hair on rind which I didn’t like. ‘It wasn’t to our taste. Coffee was good also.

I like Nick's Cafe. Their food is tasty, the coffee is great and the service is good. There is not a huge selection on the menu but what they do, they do well. A range of seating options with a couple sharing tables as well as smaller settings. A small outdoor area available for warmer weather.

Wonderful Cafe. The food & coffee is great & the price is so reasonable. Service is excellent. Our young kids loved the play area. Our family has left Waiuku, but my kids still ask to go to Nick's!

Our local favourite since they open, They are very accomodating with our special request. My favourite is their pesto egg and open chicken sandwich. They could cook each part of the food (chicken breast, eggs, bread, mushroom, etc) into perfection. Also love their fluffy pancake to finish off the meal!

To those living In or visiting Waiuku, Nicks cafe is best in town. I’ve seen a few negative reviews listed here but that was under previous ownership. The new owners have really turned this place around providing a warm and accommodating environment with friendly staff. If you’re after a nice place for a quick coffee or a good quality menu then I’d recommend trying Nicks Cafe for yourself. A+ would go there again.

Usually an awesome place to go with great food. Was left a but a bit disappointed today. It seems when the boss isn't there the staff turn into miserable/ rude people (a smile wouldn't hurt) . The food wasn't its usually high standard - crunchy re- cooked chips served luke warm, and black chard pancakes. I've never reviewed anything before in my life but feel Nick should know when the cats away the mice will play.

Food is amaaaaaazing! We tried 4 different breakfasts and we all loved the food. Ham in their food was real ham and yum. Coffee was awesome too. Welcoming staff. We will definitely go back.

We loved Nick's cafe! We came for breakfast and lunch and while the food was top notch, so was the service and chatter with the staff. Nick is a gem in Waiuku really focusing on using good local produce and growing the network of local products, use and support. The coffee was good and I would recommend as a #1 choice in Waiuku. Being from the UK and having visited New Zealand now I can say that friendliness and seeing people enjoying their work now just seems common place. Nick's Cafe is the epitome of this, from a loud, welcoming hello, to some banter as I ordered, you're made to feel as if you're a local even though you're from the other side of the planet. The food was served quickly and though I only chose some simple things, was done very well. If I ever get to visit New Zealand again and I was in the area then I would definitely stop off here again. Well done Nick!

Good coffee, good food, nice little cafe tucked off the main street. Just gets a but noisy indoors, which I think is because kitchen and dining areas are not separated. Would definitely recommend and return

First time here with my parents :). Wicked food! Being british, Fry ups is what we love! Especially after a night of drinking :p. Though being slighty biased. The younger lad with his cap backward acknowledged I wanted fried eggs on my big breakfast but I was served poached eggs :(. Still kick ass Though, and I asked for a single shot long black in a tulip cup and was given an Americano. Coffee fanatics will understand the frustration there lol. But Nick. Man that guy is a legend. I've never met him before but he was so nice warming and a wicked guy to my little baby girl! He had the right toys and the food was prepared very sensibly for a baby! Good food and coffee and at reasonable prices. Very noisey though. I felt like to yell when talking to my wife who sat opposite me. Probably the kitchen extractor fan as everything is in the same room (kitchen and eating area)

Hi , I live in Constable rd and frequent Nicks Cafe' as often as I can. There must be some really fussy or "weird" people out there if they find fault with this café. Nick and Mayu are AMAZING hosts , always smiling and always interacting with the children and caring for all within their café. The food is OUTSTANDING and it is always served as promptly as the crowd within the Café allows ( and there are some pretty huge crowds some days) . Nicks amazing personality is noted by all who visit there . We are not just customers , we are friends to Nick and Mayu and you cannot help but feel welcomed and comfortable in this café. His staff work bloody hard and I have never had reason to find fault with Nick or Mayu OR THEIR STAFF. I often see Nick or Mayu with their little boy around the town and they are " exactly " the same, friendly, courteous and just bloody lovely people. We should be proud we have such people in Waiuku. Keep it up Nick - you guys do a really FANTASTIC job. Warwick.
