M.Love Captain's Cafe! My favourite NZ ski field snack and coffee stop by far. Easy access and great views, fast friendly service.

M.Ski resort food. Nothing awesome. Filled the hole for lunch. My flexitarian friends struggled to find substantial alternatives.
C.Very busy sometimes but it has very good pizza. You can usually get food quite fast even when it's very busy, I had to wait about 45 minutes for a coffee at the busiest time of day. The staff are quite nice and have an adequate array of drinks. It's fun skiing halfway down to have a piece of pizza and a coke.
J.A better place to have lunch at cardrona than the Base cafeteria. It's usually less crowded and the views are better. Their pizzas are exceptionally good and have a tiramisu for dessert!
A.Not bad for on mountain food. Good pizza and good beer. Altitude pale Ale is excellent.
A.Great food options from pizza to lasagna and then salad options also. Can also get beer so doubly excellent! Be hard pressed to find a better view from a cafe anywhere. Even the view from the urinals is amazing 😂😂. Can get pretty busy at peak times so pick your moment. Seats outside on a sunny bluebird day are great.
W.Excellent cafe on the far side of Cadrona Ski Resort. Nice and casual with hot food and drinks. Great place to rest between runs rather than return to the Main White Star side.
