Love this place - good coffee, thoughtful gifts and low key country feel. Always worth popping in.

Great little store and cafe. Hostess was a charming woman, who also owns the store/cafe. My wife and I shared a peppered beef pie, a latte, but each got our own ice cream. All great tasting. The store has some essentials, but also sells tourist items like scented soaps. We bought a round ceramic semi-flat dish with ferns painted/glazed on the top to help us remember New Zealand; we plan to use it for a cooking spoon tray at our lake cabin. MUST STOP! BEST STOP!! For coffee, and other piping hot drinks. Delicious food ( some supplied by Albert Town's Famous Patisserie) Delicious Ice Cream. Variety of delightful gift ideas. Wonderful hostess. I recommend you call in, you won't be disappointed. Mmmmm!

Loved this place. Stopped on our way to the distillery for a bite to eat. Food was delicious and the coffee was perfect (pretty much everywhere we went in NZ). The location was so pretty. It was so relaxing sitting outside admiring the vista. The staff are friendly and the store is filled with so many things to buy. Great range of local honey.

This small shop is good, but could be better. The basics are sold (as in water, ice cream, etc.) but if the manager/s thought harder about what is really needed in a rural town such as Cardrona, it could be a lot more profitable. If bandages, ibuprofen tablets, over-the-counter-medicine, etc. we’re sold, the business would be booming. Nevertheless, lovely staff and a nice place to stop off at on the way by.

There’s a cafe that makes decent coffee and pies and the shop sells local produce and souvenirs

Ice Creams need to be a lot bigger for $4.50 for a single scoop and $7.00 for a double. Also need to make sure the icecream is actually pushed into the cone as first lick it fell off!!
