G.Very interesting place , not only a cafe but also a food store. You can purchase preserves chutneys mustards pickles etc etc . Really interesting stuff to look at and buy . I had eggs Bernie which was great . Also flat white and the coffee was also very good. Lots of options here. Have outside part as well to dine in. Sign up saying fall staff are vaccinated . Goon on them . I will be back for sure
C.A real gem in Wanaka - we ended up there three times for breakfast within the six days we were there. A great lighter (and cheaper) breakfast alternative. I went with the mushrooms all three days as they are delicious, but everything looked great. Top coffee. Nice wee food store to pick up a few odds and ends too. They also have a good selection of takeaway meals, fresh cheeses and cabinet food and breads.
J.Beautiful little place with great cabinet food. I had the peppersteak pie and it was great! Losing 2 stars because yet again no one checking vaccine passes, which with us now at 12000 cases of omicron a day really is unacceptable.
C.Enjoyed my Sunday brunch, ordered eggs benedict it was delicious, coffee was excellent. Plenty of parking, cottage decor, friendly staff, dining inside and out, lovely range of goods and foodstuffs for sale.
J.A lovely place hide in big garden in Wanaka. Lots of groceries, honey, loaves, nice kitchen stuffs... and the chicken liver pate is recommended. Nice taste with sourdough.
B.Only stopped in to have a look and the queue was out the door. Great place, lots of fabulous things to buy but not sure they’ve got the right system going. Loads of staff but didn’t appear to be table service so you had people lining up to order coffee to go and those wanting to eat there. Would be keen to go back when it was less over run. Great range of takeaway bread, muffins etc.
T.Good cafe on the outskirts of what i think is a commercially overated town beautiful lake and scenery but far to busy with average eating spots, repetition menus, nothing unique. Florences bought a change, nice home cooked food, lovely Deli, you could pick up some cheese, breads, biscuits and jams head out for a picnic on the waters edge!
R.Always a treat visiting here - Warmly welcomed, great food. Great staff. Lovely garden setting. Highly recommended to all.
