T.Wow that was an incredible hot chocolate. On a dreary Wellington Monday, we enjoyed popping into the golden warm glow of Butlers Chocolate cafe. They use real chocolate for the drinks and even gave us a little chocolate gift as well. Very sweet so I won’t be having these every day!!
D.Have been coming here for about 2 years and the coffee is excellent. Premium price, but the quality is no 1. Sam is so friendly and always provides awesome service. Outstanding.

E.I have frequented Butler's over the years across Wellington and I'd have to say the Lambton Quay store is my absolute favourite, it's the staff that make it for me! Sam and Caragh really go the extra mile to make your experience an absolute delight!! Who doesn't love a terrible dad joke with their coffee? Sam is always ready with new terrible jokes and it really brings me joy! Caragh is one of the most conscientious hospo staff I've come across. Both real assets to the industry.

B.Always good. Like the cheese scones. Chocolate free with your drink is a nice touch. Odd that they hide the sugar behind the counter though.
R.Burnt milk in my flat white and thought the cabinet food looked old and dry. Service was odd as we were asked to move tables for covid distancing and then they allowed another couple to sit where we had been asked to move from, meaning the distance was too close for restrictions. Bad communication, bad service

A.The white hot chocolate is truly amazing, served with a chocolate of my choice (Mocha 😋). The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing but still lively (it's Lambton Quay after all!) And the staff are friendly and professional. Definitely worth a visit!
K.The best staff! The girls who work there Caragh and Felicity are so humble and friendly. They make my day :) the hot chocolates are always amazing, and you also receive a free chcoclate with your hot chocolate. Definitely would recommend!
s.Special mention to Sam, Flea and Caragh who brighten my day everytime I get the pleasure to talk with them and drink their beautiful coffee. They are the reason I'm here everyday, I hope they are appreciated as such as they are the value behind the coffee.
