J.What a fantastic first experience, it was fairly quiet but still bustling. I asked what the gentleman running the front would suggest as a first try, his reply was "Everything on this menu is an experience worth trying."
Alright, tried the mushroom dish on special, added poached eggs *perfectly done for me* and bacon. What came out was, in fact, an eating experience. Very rich and flavorful food. The front gentleman even took a moment out of his busy run of the front to make sure everything was to my liking.
An amazing food experience, a bit more expensive for someone on a rush, but entirely worth it.
s.Hidden gem. Great place for great selection food, lots options for vegetarian and vegan. I had salad bowl with cauliflower, super yummy - apparently it's their popular dish. Super friendly staff and let us order ahead so we can make the most out of our lunch hour break. Thank you!
J.Great Food & Great Service! We went here twice in our two days stay in Wellington.First day we have tried Masala Chai Latte & Mushroom Pie,which made us to go again here on our second day.Second day tried the same things also Salad Bowl.Seriously everything was delicious and Masala Chai Latte is now my favorite.Happy that they have vegetarian options.Thank you Dhana Eatery!

Best Brunch in town so far... My partner had Crispy chicken salad bowl which is beyond the delicious and I had their Bacon Benedict, it is well presented and amazingly tasty. Will be back and highly recommend this place if you are after quite and great quality food in the CBD.
6.Walked past this place a few times while we were in Wellington I decided to go check it out and this place did not disappoint wonderful meals I recommend any of they're egg meals as they are to die for all of their juices are made fresh and the staff are very nice and helpful
P.Fabulous food, the pulled pork was fantastic. Every last thing is home made, including the sauces and the sauerkraut. Very reasonable prices for what must be one of the best restaurants in town. Great service as well.

L.A little hidden gem just off Lambton Quay, with a really chilled out atmosphere despite being right in the CBD.
The vegan burger is a must-try even if you normally eat meat, all the ingredients are home-made, with a soft turmeric bun filled with nutritious goodies (hummus, kimchi, avocado, lettuce, slaw and a falafel patty that is surprisingly moist with a slight crunch).
Their masala chai is also worth trying if you want an authentic Indian-style chai with a nice kick of black pepper that warms your insides on a cold, wet Wellington day.
H.What a find!! Everything we've had here from the cabinet food to the cooked meals has been delicious. You can tell they've tried hard to go an extra step in making classics new again. A shout out also to the amazing spiced hot chocolate - one of the best hot chocolates in Wellington. Its location is tucked away and gives it a cozy, secret feel.

Visited during level 2 restrictions and we were looking for a big breakfast which proved to be difficult. Luckily we stumbled across Dhana's. Though menu stated they stopped serving it at 1100, they happily agreed to make it for us, so two big breakfasts. Admittedly it was quiet, but to go above at anytime is fantastic. Food was delicious, coffee superb, prices very reasonable.

The Grandma Chicken Biryani was amazing, as was the beef burger and fries, both of which were rich in flavour with an array of different spices. A nice quiet atmosphere, if you're looking for somewhere peaceful on Lambton Quay to eat.

Food is always prepared quickly but divinely, very attractively presented and absolutely delicious. The owners / chefs have a real talent for tasty, healthy food.

I'm not a vegan personally but my colleague is and they have a huge vegan range! The good fortune coffee is also fantastic! The cafe is spacious and comfy, with lots of indoor seating.

R.Fantastic little spot, off the main drag, and providing very friendly service! This is definitely a business to support - the owners make almost everything in house, which is a rare find! From sauerkraut to kimchi to falafel to burger buns to sauces to a mouth-watering array of baking, some of which changes daily. They serve delicious, consistent local coffee from Good Fortune who roast over in Petone. Can recommend their cheese scone and also their vegan scone!
P.I’ve eaten here many times as I work in the building adjacent. Breakfast, muffins lunch. High quality fresh food with Indian spices and top ingredients. The owners are a husband and wife, both chefs, who are friendly and are proving themselves as business owners for the first time. You won’t be disappointed.
