J.Fanstatically chic yet endearingly local café for true coffee-lovers! Frank’s is all about clean, minimal design to create an airy environment to truly appreciate your coffee in.
Order your coffee over a small central bar filled with snack options from moreishly filling donuts, salted caramel cookies and brownie, to simply tomato and cheese or filled rolls. A sandwich press ensures you’ll delight in any savoury baked good.
The coffee is superb. Brilliantly poured crema with perfectly stretched milk. Decaf options are available, and if you need a sweet hot go for a well made mocha!
Go here for excellent coffee and enjoy taking in all the smells and textures as you unhurriedly pass your time.
K.Shows great adaptability in being able to reopen quickly after Wellington going back to Alert Level 3 for Covid-19. Still provides quality coffee and food. Gives warm customer service even with the necessary social distancing.
l.Well set up for covid restrictions. Good coffee and friendly staff but the outside seating area is really shabby and could do with a makeover and the kitchen area was cluttered.
S.Frank's used to do one of the best coffees in Wellington, but since they've started roasting their own beans it's just not as good. I generally order a flat white, so maybe it's got better flavour black.

E.Excellent coffee but very little warmth/ambience. The dish steriliser is right next to the tables so it can be quite an invasive sound when it’s running. The toasted halloumi sandwich was fine, good but nothing special.
d.Popped in here a couple of times and definitely features on my "go to" list of cafes.
Staff here are friendly and attentive - they know a great deal about their coffee and make an excellent cup.
The space is also top notch, I don't think I've been to a cafe like it before - Frank and the designers have come up with an innovative design that makes you feel as if the cafe revolves around you.
All and all a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone who loves good coffee and a great environment to relax in.

m.The coffee was delicious however it's not so much of a breakfast place, just sandwiches and bagels, managed by one person, so do expect a wait time. Go here if you only need a coffee fix , the coffee is amazing.

I stopped in on a whim while I was on the hunt for a smoothie. What I found was not just close, but almost spot on. The girl at the counter said they've just been added to the menu, so not only was it a good guess, but also the right time. Chocolate and peanut butter win again.
A.great little place with friendly service too. Coffee is nice too, they use red rabbit coffee beans which isn't so common in Wellington.
