Cute and quaint coffee spot on the terrace. My coffee was smooth and frothy. There were also little bites in the cabinet - scones, pastries etc - though not substantial breakfasts. There isn’t too much in terms of food, but there is a nice collection of magazines and newspapers to go with your coffee.

Have been coming here for years. Frank's has the best filter coffee in Wellington, a great range of cabinet food (including scones, cookies, muffins and sandwiches), and excellent friendly service. One of my favourite cafes in the city.

Friendly staff and good tea and coffee. If you want a place to catch up that has a good buzz, but don't deafen you, this is an excellent option. Good counter food as well. Most of the seating is upstairs, but there is some space on the ground floor if stairs are a problem.

Very good coffee and on Fridays they have donuts. I had a lemon curd donut and it was awesome. Hey in quick because they get very busy from 10am onwards. They do excellent breakfasts too.

I love Frank's. Whether you're ducking in for a cheeky filter or need to hit that 5th espresso of the morning this is a great spot. The coffee is if the highest quality (and they can tell you all about it) and they've got some tasty cabinet food to boot. I highly recommend a hot espresso and a salted caramel cookie while sitting upstairs and looking out over the rainy streets of the capital

Excellent coffee (both the blend and the Single Origin options). The brunch menu is brilliant (tried it several times now). The service is always really good; the decor lovely. Just don't look the scones, donuts or cookies in the eye when paying for your coffee, you will fall under their spell.

Nice little spot on The Terrace to relax and recharge before hitting the office again. This cafe helps you feel like you've arrived at a retreat and are no longer part of the busy 9-5 crowd. Coffee here is always spot on and considering how busy it is downstairs, the wait time is very reasonable too! If you've got some time I'd highly recommend trying out something from their delicious menu - everything on there is a treat to your taste buds. Highly recommend for a quick cuppa or for a brunch visit.

Decent selection of filter and espresso for drinking-in or buying for home use. Staff downstream downstairs were friendly enough but not super knowledgeable when I asked about the coffee beans. The person who served me upstairs was perhaps having a bad day... Food was really good, plenty of natural light and a good balcony upstairs, but poor acoustics upstairs upstand meant when it filled up, my company and I had to raise our voices and listen hard to communicate with each other. Wouldn't strongly recommend but would give another go.

Good coffee, nice decor, helpful staff, fast service. It is often very, very, noisy upstairs when it is moderately busy as it has few soft furnishings to absorb the sound of all the conversations. If you have hearing issues be prepared to get a takeaway.

. (03/2018) A small and very handy cafe located over The Terrace opposite PwC building and can be easily spotted on the roadside from a moving vehicle in normal traffic. Convenient location and easily approachable. Well managed, organised and nicely maintained. Awesome ambiance and cozy atmosphere. Spacious and comfortable seating. Found the nicely maintained and relatively quiet seating section upstairs pretty helpful for catch-ups and discussions. Welcoming and polite staff. Fast and efficient service. Tasty and freshly prepared beverages and edibles can be enjoyed at this cafe although normally there is limited to no choice for vegans and vegetarians. Good presentation. Table service. Card as well as cash payments are accepted. Good for groups, celebrations, family, kids and catch-ups. Normally busy during peak hours and closes down early in the evening. Good for quick visits. Outdoor seating is not available. Could not notice wheelchair accessible or high chair seating in plain view at this location. There is no dedicated parking area available although street parking can be found around the entrance. Entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Amazing flat whites. Frank took the time to walk me through the difference between making a NZ flat white and a latte, then gave me a sample of each without me even asking. What service! And both were delicious.

Nice filter ,good scones friendly efficient staff but what's up with promoting Auckland and Hamilton coffee companies not that variety isn't good and the coffee is nice but buy local there is a good choice of quality roasters in Welly to support. Downstairs for quiet coffee ,upstairs for noisey coffee made noisey by the bright cold hard surfaces all around you .

They have a few of the right of ingredients to make it amazing but need to try a little harder on the execution. I've been a regular here for a while and will keep going back but the milk work on the coffee needs to up its game and the food is lacking something.

This is a must for any coffee enthusiast! One of the best coffees you can get in Wellington made by passionate baristas. There are couple of different coffee bean varieties available on request - just ask. The beans are sourced from the best coffee roasteries in NZ, providing great alternative to Coffee Supreme or People's which you can get in almost any other café in Wellington. If all goes well, you can even expect coffee roasted by Frank himself in May 2020. The shop also sells packaged coffee beans and various coffee accessories.

Leider konnte ich sehen, wie er hier gemacht wird: Ein gigantischer Eiswürfel und dann einen Fertigkakao aus dem Supermarkt drübergeschüttet. Nicht so toll.. Schade.
