s.The new batista here, Caragh is an absolute gem! Amazing customer service and best coffee in town :) Defo be coming back here. On the scale of Metallica albums this gets the rating of Master of Puppets (that's the best for all you dorks)
F.Amazing Staff!! Coffee was soooo good. I didn't eat anything though... the chairs are few so if you want to sit down make sure you get in before lunch rush! Cool vibe people!!
J.Awesome whole-in-the-wall café offering spectacularly good coffee and a great range of food. Initially easy to skip by, Gipsy Kitchen will quickly become a favourite after your first trip. Don’t be put off by the line, there’s plenty of seating either cozily indoors or comfortably outside.
The barista should be proud: Gipsy’s flat whites are perfect. The coffee is great quality, keeping with the area’s demands - soy, decaf all available. Gipsy Kitchen also has strong Tea game, serving a crazy long list of exotic and homely flavours.
The cabinet food makes for the most intriguing part and strongly encourages an empty stomach on arrival. Fresh croissants and banana bread are on offer, as are milk chocolate cookies, apricot friands and other delicious treats.
Go here for the great coffee and enjoy adding another regular joint to your café-musts list
R.What a treasure. Home cooked food served with verve. Not many tables but perfect for a drop-in to get great coffee and snacks. Big choice of baked goods. Wonderfully eccentric. Superb chef.

J.Visited this cafe for the first time a couple of weeks ago, it occupies 2 shop spaces that are adjoining and has has a limited menu but great staff and most importantly great coffee.

A.Nice place to hang. Didn't appear to have an obvious breakfast menu so I chose a scone. Then my friend had granola and fruit which I didn't see on the menu.

T.I expected a microwaved wrap with a decent coffee. What I got was an oven-roasted bundle of breakfast goodness and an awesome coffee! I was here early, so I had a front row seat to the cooky vibe. Lots of regular customers, not surprising given the quality of the coffee. Food options are all in the cabinet. Very cool decor.
M.Food was good, but it was a freezing cold wind tunnel with just a one bar heater on the wall by the counter. Brrrr. Assume that they have yet to finish the place (recently moved in) and had underestimated the Wellington wind's ability to rip right through so coldly so early in Autumn. Defo has potential and the food was as good as the Strathmore location.
M.Newly expanded seating makes this a more reliable option. Food is often remarkably good and well priced too. Today: exceptional quesadilla, innovative salad and an unrighteously moreish almond croissant. Yum!

I'm not sure exactly what you put in those choc chip cookies, but one is never enough. Paired with a coffee, and you've got yourself 10 minutes of bliss.

F.Tiny inside with just a few tables but delicious food and lovely friendly staff who are committed to great food and coffee. All time best apple pie I've ever eaten. Some great salads with plenty of filling ingredients. Everything I've tried here has a perfect balance of flavours.
L.I feel so torn because the food is soooo good but I always get such bad service here. Like the staff are always v indifferent, low energy.. I feel like I really have to force myself to get attention from the staff, then when I do they gimme a vibe like I’m being real extra. a couple of times I have entered, stood around unacknowledged for a few mins and then just walked out :(

A.Nice little shop, had a yummy bacon & egg breakfast muffin and a good cappuccino. Music at a level that allowed for conversation and friendly staff - ticks all the boxes. They have a new fan :-)
J.Beautiful food! Some of the best cabinet food in Wellington. Can take a while to get it heated but worth the wait. Salads, wraps, sandwiches, vege options and meat. So good

S.Why have I not found this place sooner? Coffee was great , and the mugs are awesome. Whilst I was there the smell from the bread and muffins etx was delicious. Staff were super friendly too. Will be back
H.A tiny Little hidden gem cafe in Wellington CBD. great selection of food and great coffee and friendly staff and great service. Limited seating and can get crowded during peak times, but overall a very good cafe.

L.Very poor service. Waiter walked by our table several times with our order but never dropped it off until we had to flag them down. Then the tea came without a teacup. The table was very sticky from previous dining and was not wiped off properly
