C.Simmer Cafe good food selection very generous portions. Earlier couple of time had difficulties with the same person who served us first time on pre booked group outing he refuse to give couple of extra seats for the guest to sit at the same table (well before coved) and try to shift them to other side of the café well away from rest of us. Second occasion he came with a chicken dish instead of beef that we ordered and said, been a mistake in the kitchen and he thought that I wouldn’t mind to try the chicken. When I said no he again said “I thought you wouldn’t mind having the chicken” but eventually I got what I ordered.
It’s all good since then we avoid him when we order our meals at Simmer now.
H.☕️ Flat White - the milk foam is exquisite and thick, which meet my expectations
☕️ Iced Coffee - it is kinda plain and the topping whipped cream is yummy but too rich. I couldn’t finish the whole glass but it worth the price.
☕️ Service - the staff is super sweet and friendly; the service is prompt and good. Overall you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
P.This is the nicest cafe I have been in for awhile. Panini bread is made in store and is delicious. Loved the verge couscous salad too. Highly recommend
N.Consistently good coffees and mouth watering cake sices and panninis. Anything you pick here will surely satisfy your taste buds.
K.Really enjoyed our breakfast here. It was super packed but the staff were friendly and had great banter. Coffee was yum and the food was well above expectations. The serving of salmon I had was very generous and the hollandaise was devine. Eggs were perfect and toast crunchy and fresh. First time eating here and we were impressed. Will definitely be back!
L.Their food is full of flavour! I didn’t expect that a small cafe in a suburb would be my preferred place for Thai food. They have one Thai option, as far as I know, and it’s amazing. Tandoori chicken in garlic naan.
My wife also enjoyed a pulled pork burger.
Good coffee too.
The only reason they lost a star is the limited seating during lunch hour. There’s not much they can do about it, but guests should be aware. My family had to wait in the cold for our lunch, and then wait for people to leave so we can claim a spot inside.
A.This is a great local cafe - opens early has a nice relaxed vibe - solid food and helpful staff. Havana brand coffee.
C.Very nice food and good service. A nice treat for the grandchildren on the last day of school.
L.Amazing food and friendly staff. Pizzas were very tasty and doughnuts light and delish. They also stock Foxton Fizz! I'll be back.
D.Only just discovered this gem when looking for "coffee near me". Staff were super friendly, coffee was great - and the "blackboard menu" ticked so many boxes!
