The best coffee in all of wellington. And quite possibly the country. These guys and girls are phenomenal at their craft. And I use craft intentionally as the attention to detail they pay while brewing you that perfect coffee or tea really pays off. Also the sparkling water to hydrate prior is always a nice touch. Have bought many a friend here with my raving reviews and all of them come back here.

I don't usually write reviews. But I had to with this wee spot. What and amazing coffees( I'm an addict) and super friendly staff. Thanks for your work! :)

The best coffee I had in NZ. Customer service was best I ever received at a cafe and he had remembered my order. Will be back everyday before work.

What could have been 5 stars... Staff is friendly, modern shop looks nice, and equipment that shows they know what they are doing... However, a female barista who was busy poured the espresso shot for my piccolo and left it sitting for over two minutes before putting in the frothed milk. This is a guarantee of an overly and unnecessarily bitter beverage. She served it to me and it was exactly that: sharply bitter. I asked immediately after tasting if it was normal to leave out a shot so long and the other barista threw out my beverage, apologized, and pulled another one immediately. It was great, five stars worthy. He followed up with more apologies and an offer for another free beverage. (I had been waiting for years to go to this location after studying the Professional Barista's Handbook to perfect my own craft.) I'm only in Wellington for one day, had I not been paying attention I would have wound up with a terrible experience wondering why The Beanery and Mojo in general is worth it.

Popped in for a takeaway coffee, waited on the leaner and was given a glass of spakling water while I waited. Truly a class act of a spot delicious strong coffee and equally great service so rare!. Keep up the great work MOJO.

A great place to go and learn all things coffee. Tastings on Tuesday 11:30, not to be missed. You can get 100g bags of special single origin freshly roasted beans, really lovely to explore the wonderful variety of the world of coffee. The staff are top notch, REALLY know their stuff, and are very customer focused. Great range of coffee paraphernalia too.

Great nitro coffee, cool atmosphere and the guy behind the counter was really friendly and helpful. They also sell coffee paraphernalia as per the photo.

The art of coffee making has been taken to a new level in this establishment. From the high-tech machine to the decor to the staff, everything is really well done and it is a joy to behold! Plus, the coffee is sublime! Highly recommended.

A fantastic and vibrant area to get your coffee or tea fix. Staff are fantastic and the food are fresh and great with a huge range of choices. Highly recommend the toasted breakfast wrap when you are on the go in the mornings, especially if you skip breakfast. The feta and chilli cheese scones are also a great favourite.

Good coffee but crazy overpriced... I think I paid $7-$8 for a cup of joe... not cool. Would recommend to someone who can afford slightly better coffee for significantly more cost. Yet they do have good foot traffic and are friendly but it just seems crazy to pay such a high price for such a basic thing.

This place is amazing. We enjoy the weekly coffee tastings by Sarah. She knows her coffee and has taught us so much. Sarah as well as the rest of the staff will answer any questions you have and will explain everything. John was great at getting us set up with some coffee and providing some tastings along the way so we get a better understanding of the coffees offered. Can't recommend this place of this staff enough!!!

Great coffee prepared by experienced and friendly baristas with love and expertise. Not a place to linger though, there's not a lot of seating beyond some standing benches. They also sell coffee beans, grounds and accessories.

Great team and coffee

Awesome coffee. Bring your curiosity and a desire to try coffee a different way. Steampunk, nitro cold coffee, beans roasted on site. Oh my. Super friendly and knowledgeable people who work there. Don't expect to sit down though. Yes you can get your take away flat white too.

Kevin and John really are passionate about coffee ad showed me lots of different coffees and extraction methods. Talked in-depth about the beans and were very friendly. If you like coffee, go here.

Mojo just nail every outlet they open. Always different and always have a wow factor. They were the first to introduce soda water option and that is a great initiative. Always my go to for coffee.

V posh, and v small (nowhere to sit, a few bar leaners). Be aware the large is not the standard Mojo large as they are "boutique". Great coffee, excellent service.

In a town awash with coffee roastaries, barristas and essoresdo, the beanery stands out. Chose your beans chose your brew method and they'll make it. Standout coffee!!
