The staff are so helpful; friendly and honest service. Tang, the lady who served us, came over and asked us about the food. We gave her an honest review, and she really took our praise and criticism well.
Top marks to you lady
The portions are conservative but so is the pricing. The food is nice, not mind-blowing, but it's of a really good standard and it's tasty enough. There's plenty if options, especially for dessert and they have a nice tea selection.

There are so many amazing vegan options and they also do tonnes of delicious gluten free options!
We have been here so many times for lunch and brunch, having the bagel, omelette, scramble and burgers.
Flavourful and perfect portions. We also regularly pop in for cakes, slices, cookies, muffins and other treats which are always delicious. The Tiramasu cake is my favourite! Worth a visit and a return visit booked regularly.

S.I had a really delicious dish here, but though I’d specifically mentioned my allergy when ordering, the food seemed to have been cross contaminated because I had a mild allergic reaction immediately. They apologized and refunded me. This place comes highly recommended from friends, but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with a nut allergy.
M.Stumbled upon Willi's Kitchen while waiting for the bus! A pleasant surprise indeed to find their ☕ is good . The combo of a ☕ with a muffin is only NZD6.50 and for vegan deal is NZD7.00 is a bargain!

The Vietnamese iced coffee is delicious, as is the peach iced tea.
The avocado on toast with halloumi is delicious with or without halloumi (one day they were out of halloumi). The tomatoes, both fresh and sundried. The combination is super tasty! I don't know how they make such a delicious dish!

S.Willi's Kitchen was recommended to me by a Vegan store in Wellington. I was searching for vegan macarons and the baker at Willi's Kitchen was more than happy to do them. The macarons were in 3 flavours, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Each of them tasted just as good as the other.
I absolutely love the service and customer experience provided by the staff at Willi's Kitchen. They were able to understand my query and process it accordingly. They have a large variety of vegan food and will be willing to offer something you request them.
V.I bought a gift voucher from the UK and it had to be the simplest system. I’m going to look into using it on my business. A perfect way to treat my daughter and I’ll definitely use again 👍
M.Good ambience and fantastic service. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Coffee is above standard. The food is slightly too many elements of flavour, I wish they kept it simple. But overall it’s great value for money. I’ll come back and try different food next time.

A.Lots of vegan options which is amazing and prices really decent for all of the cabinet food and most of the menu. The vegan chicken pie is FANTASTIC and vegan chocolate caramel mousse was too although very rich. Service could have been a little more friendly but for me the main point is the food which was great!

S.During my short time in Wellington from overseas, Willi's Kitchen has become one of my favorite restaurants. My only complaint is they do not always have donuts (they are just so good). The vegan Vietnamese baguette is one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The vegan banana bread is divine. And of course, the vegan sausage roll is a must-have. Such a great place for vegans and non-vegans alike. Maybe one day the restaurant can fully transition to an all-vegan spot. I will miss this place when I go back to the States, but I'll be sure to eat there as much as I can before I leave. Do yourself a favor and head here for cozy vibes, delicious meals and decadent desserts! You will not regret it.

T.We can't be for brunch and had the vegan big breakfast, which wasn't that big, and the facon and ekks. Great to see a good range of vegan options on the menu but, for the prices, they need better portion sizes and need to develop the dishes further for better flavour and texture. A bit of black salt would definitely help the tofu scramble, and make facon from something other than tempeh.
A.Excellent little cafe in a convenient, central location. Lots of vegan options, including a consistent selection of cakes and the majority of meals on the regular menu.
Brunches are on the small side, but priced accordingly. I go here often on weekends, and it is never too busy.
Z.I really recommend this cafe. Their cabinet has the most mouthwatering impressionable treats, many of which gluten-free and or vegan (but this doesn't in the least impact their standards). Additionally there are many menu items to suit various dietary needs. There is outstanding service that is unprescidented; on one visit, with what i considered a short wait, the staff believed i was waiting too long for my food and offered me a free of charge drink.
Much effort has been put into the cafe's appearance, making for a very pleasant vibe.

A.A busy CBD café that always has time for the customer. They go out of their way to be helpful and friendly at all times, especially when they are busy. A great café environment and a relaxing haven in a busy day. The food is good too! (especially the donuts!!!)
l.Omg. When they say vegan options, they MEAN IT. The only criticism I have is that I am super indecisive and usually there's only one option so I'm fine, but here I thought that everything looked fantastic and I'd have to come back at least 40 times to try everything so that's a bit frustrating. If I lived in Wellington I'd probably spend all my money here tbh. I ended up having a Mocha with soy milk and a chocolate hazelnut slice, they were both absolutely divine (just adding to the frustration because I was pretty full after that so I couldn't see how delicious all the other options undoubtedly were). Oh yes service was super friendly too. Highly recommend.
L.Very low prices for very high quality dishes. Same rate for coffee and they're dealing with Mojo so no joke there. Many options for many diets (vegan/gluten free...) and some spectacular presentation skills from the chef in addition to your taste buds dancing skills after eating there. Strongly recommend checking the weekly specials on their Instagram or having a go at the pastries with coffee for a quick fix. Plus, they're both adorable so what else could we possibly ask for.

G.Small but adequate sized cafe easy to miss when wondering by. Food is freshly made and delicious with not only regular Wellington style coffees on the menu, but also Vietnamese style iced coffee which is just the thing for the current hot summer. Friendly and helpful staff but service can slow a little during the peak service periods.
G.We stopped in on a whim on the basis that we were unfamiliar with the place. We were looking for coffees and snacks, and were greeted with a great selection of cakes. I opted for the banana and walnut bread, which was dominated by a molasses taste - and aftertaste. The coffees were on par with expectation as well.
My biggest issue was the state of the toilets. There was a sign indicating that maintenance was required, but then we also found a lack of hand soap. This is a bit off-putting, especially for bringing kids along.
Our younger child was quite taken with the décor. The darker tones with butterfly accents caught his attention and he wants a return trip. We'll give it another try on another day and see how it stacks up then.

I have visited this cafe quite a few times, it has an excellent vegetarian and often vegan selection of menu items. I like the layout of the cafe and find it a good place for afternoon tea.
