F.Came here new years eve 2021, not disappointed at all. The Eggs Florentine was devine, and the iced chocolate was delish. The staff very friendly and welcoming.
C.Fine Seafood Chowder Soup and toasted fresh garlic bread. Coffee good too.
Staff helpful and friendly. Note a single unisex loo if travelling in convoy! ;-)
All in all nice little café.
Good place to stop on the trip between Northland and Auckland for both SH1 and SH16. 60 minute free roadside parking if you time your trip right.

G.Pepper's Cafe is always a nice place to have a delicious pie and sit and relax...My steak and mushroom pie was full of meat and mushrooms.. Highly recommend..

C.Highly recommend Peppers Cafe! 7 of us girls left this place 100% satisfied with the food, service and venue. The food was scrumptious, full of flavor, well presented, cooked to exactly how it was ordered. Surprisingly for a big number like ours the food was brought out to us in excellent timing. The venue was very clean and spacious for large numbers and small. Friendly service with a smile..very hard to find in the Auckland city. Definitely going back next time we are in Wellsford
J.On our way to Auckland we stop over this place for lunch. We had that day special lamb shank . It was very nice and juicy lamb. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
S.Stopped in for a late breakfast, food was very nice and the staff are quite professional. I needed to use the facilities and it was clean but it does need updating and a good lock needs to be put on the door. Other than that I would go back again. This was the second time I had been in and food was very nice the first time as well, the Cafe has a relaxing but busy atmosphere.

Y.Stopped in to this Cafe for breakfast on our way to Auckland from Mangamuka.... beautiful friendly staff and service loved the coffee and the food was divine all freshly baked on site. I would highly recommend if ever you need to stop for a quick bite or coffee and cake or smoothies
s.Wow what a nice surprise, I normally go to maccy's when going through Wellsford. A little gem, polite and friendly with good food. Next time you are stopping off for a break give this place a visit.
L.Lovely quiche and coffee, but a little grubby and staff member stood right next to us while we were deciding what to eat. Carpet and chairs need a good clean.
T.We had lunch here, my daughter and friends eat here regularly, they love the place. They enjoyed their meals and mine hit the spot I was not feeling overly hungry. The staff suggested a toasted sandwich, not my normal go too. Glad I had it though the attention to detail was great I had a bacon, mushroom and cheese toastie on grainy bread. They chopped up the bacon, there is nothing worse than biting into a toastie like this and the rest of the bacon coming out on your first bite.
Coffee was great hard to find a place that can pull off a good short black.
10/10 for food and service.
n.Just fabulous. The food selection is incredible. Service is good too. Make sure to not leave your car parked too long outside though... there are sneaky little pads under your car that get triggered when you drive in... no tell tale chalk marks. Just an instant parking fine.

F.Very nice food! Good friendly service and tasty coffee. The pan fried mussels with garlic bread were gorgeous. A dozen mussels, 4 large bits of garlic bread and an awesome spicy tomato sauce.
C.No nonsense place with excellent food. One of the many places you pass driving up north of returning south. But this one has excellent food, lots of choice and friendly staff. They know how to deep-fry chips, and prepare many other dishes. If you chose the calamari salad, ask for the tomato sauce in a different jar. Sweet calamares is an a acquired taste!

The staff were friendly and happy to assist in explaining some of their more adventurous dishes and make recommendations - locals were just as friendly and provided helpful comments - as it turned out the dishes we selected were perfectly prepared and very tasty! Great food for a reasonable price, so overall, a great experience. Would recommend you try it if in the neighbourhood.

Amazing service, friendly, and accomodating. Every single meal is better than any top restaurant in Auckland. Each bite keeps u wanting more. Please don't go past this place. AAA quality and such pleasant welcoming staff.

M.Out of all the cafes in Wellsford, this is okayest. The Coffee is Atomic (great coffee), the barrister was heating the milk up waaaaay too hot though. Good sized portions, reasonably priced, okay quality food (not great).
