K.Wow wow wow, amazing. The best Cafe meal maybe ever. Lots of fresh produce, beautiful flavors and presentation. Gluten free and dairy free options, plus vegan. Strong coffee. Highly recommended, the chef is so good. And the staff as well, thanks guys

v.Great cafe! Four of us had brunch here and all loved our meals! Perfectly poached eggs, great amount of bacon and avo. Lovely coffee too. Always a favourite when we are in town.
J.Lovely food but very slow. Assume this is just volume driven, based on the summer months so I do sympathize. Although as a customer, it wasnt ideal.
K.What a lovely atmosphere they have. Staff are professional. Sandwiches are in the fridge to let you choose. The burgers are big and I love it! Crunchy and aroma. Park your car in front. Easy! Recommend!

V.The Bang Bang Chicken salad was one of the yummiest things I have eaten out in a long time. Worth visiting Whangamata just for this salad...and the coffee is pretty good too 😊

R.The food was fabulous. My husband said his burger was excellent. The fries and aioli were certainly the best we’d had in ages and the cakes in the cabinet were mouth watering and plentiful but the whole experience was let down by quite literally the worse coffee - bitter and burnt tasting - I think I’ve had in a very long time. Coffee can make or break an experience and on this occasion it did. Shame!
S.Good coffee and smoothies! Fresh and tasty food menu, with yummy cabinet options too! The ginger drive is yummy! Nice interior decor option of outdoor seating.
h.Cute little cafe with great vegan as well as meat options. Definitely get the local cafe vibe. Nice spot to sit in the sun and have a full meal or a snack and tea. Plus free wifi!

C.Randomly stopped here for lunch. Food was delicious!! I had the Bang Bang chicken salad, super tasty with lots of chicken. Hubby had the chicken sandwich with halloumi cheese, lots of chicken and nice amount of halloumi. Best lunch food we've had out in a while 😊

M.Lovely coffee, prompt service, really nice cooked lunch options with a nice range of cabinet options for both cheaper/smaller meal options as well as desserts/baked goods. Prices all reasonable to slightly expensive, but not exorbitant. Decor nice and airy with lovely feel to it.
Would happily return again to try out other menu options!

E.Probably one of the best and most consistent cafe's in Whangamata. Good coffee and great food! I had lunch from the cabinet recently, a delicious tarakihi pot pie! Menu items looked great as well, some different stuff which is nice from a cafe as they often all have the same menu. Really nice atmosphere.
S.My first visit to SixFortySix was a couple of weeks ago where I tried their Avo & Edamame smash.
The menu states; Avo & Edamame Smash, poached egg, kale, walnut dukkah, feta & toast.
I'm usually one to avoid kale due to bad restaurant experience however, having a craving for Avo smash I took a shot ... and was certainly impressed!
The dish is deeeelish. Packing a punch of flavour, crunchy toast, crispy nibs of dukkah, perfectly poached egg, a (optional) smidge of butter, and matched perfectly with a side note of feta and lemon wedge.
On first impression I felt the cafe seemed dark, however with my eyes quickly adjusting to the lighting and greenery with well nourished plants I felt like I was in my own haven.
The staff are attentive, yet allow you to enjoy the place at your pace.
Well worth a visit... I'll certainly be back.

N.Nice little cafe, friendly staff and great ambience. We had the prawn bao and terakihi soft tacos - both well made and presented nicely. The ingredients were there but both could have benefited from some fresh coriander in the slaw and lemon to cut through or some sort of chilli or a creamy lime mayonnaise. That said, very generous portions for the price so great value

A.Whenever I walk past this cafe it's always busy, and now I know why! The food we ordered was delicious and the chips were some of the best I've ever had. Also the staff were super friendly and were happy to answer all my questions about the menu
K.Despite the young waitor trying to convince us that a poached egg is vegan, we had a lovely vegan brunch here. The edamame smash avo was great, and their coconut latte was too notch! Feel free to go there just make sure you spell out what's vegan and what's not:)

J.Great atmosphere and seemed like a hotspot for locals, but the prices of the menu seemed to be on the high side compared to what you are given. The taste was average for some, but some were a bit salty in my opinion.
S.The best cafe in town.... food is to die for. Open all year round. Will definately go back again and again. Good gluten free options, great wine, attentive staff and even the cabinet food for a quick bite was awesome. Highly recommended

We stopped here for lunch - tarakihi and tarragon pie and pork and fennel sausage roll - the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The coffee was excellent too - nice and strong.
L.This is the best coffee shop in NZ. Being lactose intolerant they offered advice to go to the supermarket to purchase the only lacto free milk i could get. I bought it and they made a brilliant cup of coffee. The staff went above the call and pleased these two people enormously. Have also posted to other sites. Well done guys with offering solutions.
M.Cute cafe right in the center of town. Got the "Best Ugly Bagels" which I thought was a breakfast sandwich but they serve it as a stacked bagel. A bit hard to eat unless you use a knife & fork, or don't mind getting a bit messy. Would definitely recommend something with the thick cut bacon (very juicy). Also if you are sitting outside, take note of the seagulls. Had some very close calls with poop droppings

T.Food came out very quickly, but wasn't very busy. Overall the food was ok but a bit under average when you take into consideration what you pay.
