We are here on holiday and tried this out on our first day and it has been our coffee location for our whole visit. The coffee comes in tulip to bowl size and is nice and strong. There is cabinet plus menu food that should suit everyone. This is all topped off by friendly staff who if they know your name they greet you by it. If not they are still super friendly and helpful. There are even power points for your laptop if you need them.

Really tasty lunch. We had the avocado mash. And there was a special treat brought over for us too.. A little fruit mince Christmas pie each. The staff were super friendly and efficient.

Just had a great Breakfast at Beans and Bites. My daughter and her friend hat a hot chocolate (see cool pics below) and kids pancakes, I had a latte and a big breakfast. Great service and really good food. The kids brekky was really good value. Overall cost was around $50 which is reasonable for the great food. Recommended.

My friends and I where welcomed with big smiles and escorted to our seats. We ordered coffee and had our drinks within 3 min of the order. I ordered poached eggs that were ok, my friends meals looked very good.

Just had my 70th birthday there. 9 adults 5 grandchildren and staff could not do enough to make this a special day. Even to the extent of standing around the table and singing happy birthday. Food (as always ) excellent. amazing coffee .The staff just make this an amazing place. It cannot be faulted. I love walking in the door and being greeted by my name and being asked "How Christine (my wife) is. Thank you all for making this (and each time we visit) a special occasion.

Great little cafe with really friendly staff. Decent Allpress coffee. Only ate out of the cabinet as we were too late for lunch (although they did offer to reopen the kitchen if we were desperate, which was really sweet). I'm a temporary short-term resident and this has become my favourite Sunday afternoon coffee spot. The staff are super friendly and make you feel irresistibly welcome! The only reason I haven't given them five stars is because I reserve the big 5 for my favourite cafe back home in Mangawhai - 'Brewed As'... Also I really only buy coffee here and I haven't tried their food out yet :D
