Great coffee in this eco café on the riverside in Whangarei. Perfect positioning for a tasty treat and you don't need to be in the market for a paddle board. Relax and enjoy the view! I loved visiting. Great place to meet friends. Coffee was awesome. Sitting on the deck was the cherry on the top. Ambiance awesome. Service excellent. A special place to visit. Car parking is free.

A great little Cafe, with a personal touch not seen in larger establishments. Like 'Cheers', it's the place where everyone knows your name! (And your regular order) If they served wine, they would never get me out of there!

The owners are always friendly, helpful, pleasant ; we will always be back for a bun or a big coffee, but a dropped in Wednesday 10 am, for a coffee, no parking, all taken. I could not see a real reason for this, no Q at the Kafe.

Kafe is a pleasant Cafe situated on 'The Loop' an easy walkway around the Whangarei Town Basin. It's a peaceful place to sit beside the Hatea River and to enjoy a good coffee. Recommended.

If you are down at the Town Basin walking the loop this is a good alternative to the very average cafes at the epicentre. Quiet seating area right next to the water, far less busy. Friendly staff
