R.Great service. Coffee was really hot and delicious.
Went again this morning and can't fault service. Sticky fudge cake and gf risotto were devoured very quickly... yummy!
M.My local cafe. Best coffee. Best homemade cakes and slices. Always something new and different on offer. Love to just hang out with a coffee and watch the planes.
S.Superb coffee and baked goods. Great with kids too, as there's some comfy sofas, with toys and a toy kitchen for them to play with, or they can just hang out and watch the planes.
A.We were meeting someone off a flight and went early so we could have a coffee at The Apron. This must be a difficult time for them but there was still a good selection of home-made cabinet food and frozen dishes to take away (e.g 6-serve bread pudding). Coffee was excellent, service was with a smile and chat. Not much plane traffic to watch that day but view outside was otherwise ok 🙂. Totally recommend a visit to support this small and hard-working cafe (get the feeling it's a local secret). Don't wait until you have to meet someone off a plane.
K.SO GOOD! Fly in and out of Whangarei for work and have never been let down by this cafe! Fresh, delicious, homemade proper cafe food. So yummy and the service is uber friendly too. Wish every town had a cafe like this!
S.The Airport cafe was quiet at the time we visited. The 2 women behind the counter were engrossed in food preparation and were in no hurry to serve. Coffee was hot and good. Had a warm mixed berry and white chocolate slice with mascarpone which was delicious.

F.Love the food and ice blocks!! Its the best ice block i have ever had, and its healthy too!!!! Food is very nice so does Coffee!! They also have some local products which is great to support our community!! Love it!

Like an actual cafe, but at the airport! Savouries and sweet, pop in even if you don't have to catch a plane.
