I got my first gaming PC from here in January of 2019. I've had no issues with it since and continue to use it every day, it's a wonderful gaming computer and was put together really nicely. We picked up my brother's new computer from here last week, also super high quality and runs flawlessly. Wouldn't go anywhere else - thanks team :-)

I have been a customer of 1st Wave for over a decade now, and have spent thousands with them over 4 or 5 PC builds in that time. The service is always excellent and Ben is incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. You will not find a PC shop more helpful then 1st Wave in NZ or Australia. I’d give 1st wave 10 stars if google would let me.

Great place to buy computer products, bought a GPU and a Motherboard from this place, shipping took around 3 days. Prices are also cheaper than most other computer sellers. Found out GPU was faulty and sent it back for testing, they confirmed the GPU was indeed faulty and gave me a refund. Great service 10/10. Would definitely buy from here again.

Brilliant customer service, prices and goods. I bought a gaming desktop through this service after spying them on TradeMe. They were very helpful in quoting prices for changes and adjustments I wanted made to the build, as well as recommending options and answering my questions. Email correspondence was prompt and courteous. They even offered a discounted price and offered to upgrade my CPU to the newest generation of Coffee Lake processors unprompted. Shipping was set to be speedy, but 1st Wave went the extra mile while constructing the system, performing all set up and running extensive stress tests. In their tests they found the case could not handle the heat produced by the system, and so rather than sending faulty hardware my way to meet their deadline, they took the extra time to reconstruct the system in a new case, which they even assisted me extensively in picking out a more appropriate case. I could not be happier with the entirety of this transaction, and the end product. Bloody great company. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this business! Ben is friendly, highly knowledgeable and customer focussed. I just built a custom gaming PC through 1st Wave, and couldn't be happier with the quality and level of service that I've received. Price wise they are very competitive as well. Bought a PC from Ben on TradeMe way back like 3-4 yrs ago.. nothing but exceptional service and prices ever since then. Also love that he lives locally it takes me under 10mins to get to his workshop. Ben also personally tests parts so to make sure they actually work. Excellent quality parts/products. Highly recommended espeically if you live local!

Bought PC componets from Ben (1st Wave). Total cost was +5000$ and I can only just recommend. There has been some issues with stock parts, but Ben quickly provide options / alternatives which I decided to buy. PC componets comes with seal, proper package. I can only recommend 1st wave, much better prices than other competitors. Thank you Ben!

1stWave was the cheapest place I could find for parts which I thought would come with a con. But to my surprise building my first PC could have never been easier than the experience I had with 1stWave. I scheduled a pick up time and he had all my parts ready to go. When I had problems with my GPU I had emailed them for help to see if they had any solutions. Quick replies, patience and knowledge from the Owner made this EXTREMELY easy. When he realized that the GPU might be defective (Not his fault) he let me return it and pick up a new one. Due to the drive, I had a new GPU in 40 mins. Best service and support you could ever expect from a retailer. Thank you once again 1stWave!

Best prices in NZ and great, fast customer service. They also do cheap fast shipping and have lots of stock. The only minus is the fact you can’t sort parts in the website

1st wave offer the lowest prices on components and are a great place for a gaming rig build. They took my many customisations and upgrades to a gaming build, recommended viable components for my endgoal, updated progress with photos and I ended up with a great PC for a low price point. ordered a power supply from here read a review that said his item was opened or something which mad my anxiety about buying from here a bit iffy BUT its brand new in box really good wrapping its all brand new mate and quite fast at shipping also i would reconmend buying from here seeing as the prices are super nice compared to other places if owner is seeing this cheers mate

The Customer service was rude and arrogant. You have to bank transfer the money your self which feels unsafe. End result the product did arrive. I wish they hired new customer service employees if they did this PC shop would be my "one stop shop".

They have the cheapest parts compared to other shops.Replaced my faulty RAM sticks twice without any hassle and was very happy to help solve my problems regarding my PC.10/10 would buy from here always
