What a great local asset. Karl at cleangreen computer in devonport helped migrate all my messages and photos off old Huawei phone to my new Samsung. Patient and helpful. Great to shop local.

Concise, clear, and prompt response to my urgent needs. (I guess all computer problems are crises.) He managed my anxiety beautifully - and I'm a counsellor! Competent techie, with a human touch. And a Lancastrian with an inate sense of humour.

Karl was incredible! I had a hard drive crisis where both my main hard drive and backup hard drive broke (still don't know how I managed to do that!) Karl was highly recommended to me and he managed to see me on the same day, not only did he recover the work on my main hard drive and make me a separate copy, he was able to fix my backup hard drive as well! He was kind, understanding and worked incredibly fast, I am truly grateful for his services and won't be going to any other repair service in Auckland, well worth the trip to Devonport!

Needed a lightning cable to set up a monitor for a couple of days. At $70 a pop, the kind people and Cleangreen Computers leant me one instead. Very helpful service....thankyou.

Karl is our go-to whenever we have any IT problems. We are a retail store and require our computer for trade, so Karl always kindly takes our jobs last minute and prioritises them over everything else to get us up back and running as quickly as possible. After our latest service our computer is running so fast after months of slow functioning. Karl gives us different repair options, offering to use reconditioned parts etc. when suitable to keep costs low and to be sustainable. He’s professional and friendly and kind enough to visit the store to plug everything back in for those of us who don’t know where all the cords go! Total champion. We highly recommend his service 👍

I had an old IPad, they did some initial diagnostics, and were genuinely honest about spending any money on it, and instead advised to put the money towards a new one. They did give the option of replacing the mother board, and other options that would have cost money, but I took their advice, and moved on. Honesty and professionalism, exactly what you want from your local IT guy. Definitely recommend.

A rare mix of hilarious, helpful and talented, Karl will get you the reliable refurbished Apple product you need at an honest cost. I wholeheartedly recommend him. I've been going to him with my Apple issues for years and he's always made things better.

For years, my miniMac (over 8 years old) had been getting slower and slower. By chance, I saw an article about Clean Green Computers, contacted them and was able to get an upgrade (replacement solid state hard drive and more ram) for less than half the price of a new computer, and now my mini Mac is again racing along like it was new.

My company used Karl to help support our Auckland network hardware, he managed several upgrades to hardware on the servers as well as troubleshooting our enterprise connections a couple of times. He was always prompt, professional and effective, completing the job and communicating any issues and completion of testing etc. thoroughly. Happy to recommend his services for any small business needing expertise in their systems.

Karl was a life saver for me when my motherboard gave up. He traded in my broken mac book pro for a refurbished one in excellent as new condition for a very reasonable price! Karl has recently saved my 3 year old laptop from destruction! The hard drive had failed, however Karl was able to retrieve data and refurbish the laptop with his recommended SSD & reinstall relevant software and apps - I now have a laptop that runs way better than when purchased!! I went to CGC with two problems, one with my iPad and one with an old laptop. Even though he was busy with his own work, he listened patiently to my questions and spent some time doing a basic check-up, then gave me sound advice about each problem. He was obviously very knowledgable, and even though in the end I did not buy anything nor given him a job to do for the computers he was friendly and helpful. THAT'S what customer service is all about. I will definitely return if I need any work on my devices.

I reckon this is the first place you'd wanna go to if you're in the Shore. I've been to so many computer/phone repairs that wouldn't know what to do and takes days to diagnose the problem (and failing to) and they would often come back to me with missing parts. Arghh Karl was so awesome though ! I mean he probably did his job but I'm so enthralled he fixed it so quickly and gave me solutions how to look after my laptop. (And he only charged me $5 lol that says it all)
