S.When the hard drive on my notebook failed, I took it to two other data recovery services, and neither of them could recover anything except some cookies and empty folders. I still had to pay them for their efforts though.
Six years later I was planning to repurpose the notebook and decided to have one last attempt to recover some files. Took the HD to Nicholas and the team at Computer Forensics, and magically got everything back! It's wonderful to have all those files and photos again, and all uncorrupted. Quite amazing actually. l.Really good service and communication - could not ask for better service. Our business laptop died with no recent back up and when our usual computer tech couldn't retrieve the data , he put us on to Computer Forensics NZ Ltd. We were informed of the likely price right from the start, which had an upper cap limit, and was also told that if they can't get your data off, it is free, so a pretty good guarantee. Happy ending for us as our data has been all retrieved thankfully. Very happy customers.
A.I approached Nicholas from Computer forensics with a my broken external hard drive. To make matters worse I had taken it to another 'Data recovery' company first and they had attempted unsuccessfully to extract my lost data.
My drive way to me without the external caddy and i was charged an inspection/ appraisal fee.

A.Our worst nightmare - The backup drive with all our kids photos on from last 5 years stopped working. After trying all sorts of things and looking for web advice, we asked for advice from our IT providers ACME computers in Kalgoorlie. They straight away suggested Computer forensics NZ. Within 3 days the drive was with them, they had rebuilt the drive and recovered all the irreplaceable photos.. Excellent service..
M.When my external drive sudden, and without any notice, died - I nearly died too! A life times work was on that drive! Back ups? Who does those these days?! I took my dead drive to Computer Forensics and they managed to retrieve all data on the drive. They even kept a copy of it on their server for a couple of weeks just in case!

N.I inadvertently deleted 15 years of family photos and documents. Yep, EVERYTHING. These guys saved our family memories, everything retrieved. I dealt with Nicolas, he was always friendly, helpful, considerate and thoughtful (given the subject matter, I was not cool as a cucumber). I didn't expect it back the next day or anything (and you shouldn't either) - it took a few weeks, but it is fixed fee on success, and I couldn't be happier.
