We Bought our first Home Computer and other Tech the Best thing about buying from this Store even though they don't have Display models of everything our Consultant let us watch a long video on the unboxing of a Ninebot Electric Scooter after seeing how simple it was to assemble on the video we bought it and took it home let me tell you this Scooter is the one to get it has changeable Power modes a excellent illuminated front light Electronic Brake led lights the works So simple to Operate our eight year old Daughter figured it out it Seconds I've ridden on it it has a wide platform and has a larger weight Capacity Threshold So you can Comfortably Safely stand on the Platform and ride it.

So so. Staff could be friendlier, always feel like we’re an inconvenience especially at checkout. The store has a good selection. Though the price isn’t as low as it should be given the state of the store, and how many fees they throw on top for every payment method.

Had a great experience at the Manukau branch. Shout out to Tim who spent hours with my partner and I to make sure we purchased what we actually wanted, answered all of our questions, and wasn't pushy either. Tim really knows his stuff and wants to make his customers happy. 5 stars for Tim!!

Great place! The customer facing store is huge with a great selection of items. The staff in the warehouse Depot are also great to deal with. I've completed multiple pick ups from this Depot and always walk away happy. Recommended

I hate to drop bad reviews but I have to after my last order. Made an order nearly 2 months ago, it took a month for it to get delivered and I didn't mind it because due to the lockdown courier services were delayed really badly. The thing is when it was delivered 1 of the things I ordered was missing so I checked online and it showed that the order was completed. I tried to get a hold of them via email and waited, after a week I tried again, then another week went by and I tried again even calling as well but after all that wait it'll just cut out. It's nearly a month now and I haven't even heard anything from them in regards to this and this is getting really frustrating. I went online and found quite a few people that are facing the same issues I am facing and it's pretty disappointing as I've never had these issues before. If PB Tech could please look into their customers complaints and reply to them like they've asked us to in their contact information page that would be really awesome. By the looks of things I might be one of those unlucky ones who buys something and might not even get it. UPDATE: someone finally got in contact with me from their team saying there has been a backlog since the lockdown started which is understandable. They sent footage from their packing center saying that they did pack it, luckily I took a picture of the package when it arrived and it didn't look anything like the box they had on CCTV. Please remember to take a picture of the packaging if something in your order is missing, with it's contents so they know how it arrived and you can claim it. The person I was dealing with was very kind, understanding and prompt saying it was a mistake from their end and got my missing product sent yesterday, received it today. Thank you Esther (rating is for your service which is 5stars - but the CCTV mistake wasn't a good experience)

My local PB tech, it’s a great store and the team are great too however when they know they’re busy they need to employ more staff please, I’m a regular customer so I didn’t mind waiting but I saw several people leave as no one helped them.

Awesome store. Staff seem to know their stuff. Probably could have done with a few more staff in the shop floor as shop was very busy and it was hard to find some one to help out.

Update: Thank you for helping this process go quicker for me as I needed this PC back urgently for exams. I was put in contact with an amazing PB technician called Gavin and he did everything he could to help me & went the extra mile for me by sending my PC back to the manufacturer as quickly as possible. Thank you so much Gavin! amazing communication & effort. I bought a PC from PBtech for almost 4K yesterday & it comes out the box faulty. I'm told I need to return it (through courier) to be evaluated & repaired. Having to post it through courier & not having the option to return it ourselves to their store means its going to take days, possibly weeks before I can get my PC back. Considering the amount I paid for this PC and the fact it literally comes out the box faulty, they should have immediately replaced this PC for a new one. But they sell me a faulty PC and now I have to wait probably forever for them to fix it. Thanks PB Tech.

Affordable and different range of items to choose from. Bought a RAM in here as an upgrade for our pc. Get a good deal also in ear buds.

Not impressed Wanted iphone 13 which they said they had in stock. None so they sent me to Penrose showing 18 None so ordered direct from Apple and had in less than 2 days

Bought some awesome products for my business. Including external hard drivers, dvd writer, chair and monitor. They work really well.

Help from staff was good as usual. Covid security access typical where ever you go now. Got what I wanted off the shelf with no issues.

I had the most amazing experience of customer service at Tauranga store. Steve spent 3 hours helping me with a new phone and data transfer, in the middle of a busy Friday lunchtime. He was cool calm and collected and super patient and friendly. Don't bother shopping round - go straight to PB Tech! Exceptional!

Ignore the idiots who are whining about having to get vaccinated to use the in store services, there's literally online shopping but they would rather be unvaccinated and go instore to put staff and people in danger.

The store has a great range of products but the staff can be quite inactive. They are either avoiding you or “occupied” but even if you get help from them they don’t give details or explanation. If you need a screen protector they just point at one and go “here”, nothing about what might work for you, what they would recommend or why the one they handed you is good. They just point and say “this one”. It’s frustrating shopping there but still has the best range of phones, laptops, gaming related products etc. I’d recommend doing your own research beforehand then asking what they’d recommend for any products

I don't know why people didn't give 5-star review? I give 5 stars. PB sells cheaper things than other stores. I don't know why people complaining surcharge for credit cards. They sell iphone 12 mini cheaper than iphone 11 in other stores. That's the reason why surcharge exists. Think with brain. Please 🙏

Unfortunately I sat in my car for over 30 min after texting to say HERE as instructed. Eventually just went to counter and collected my order with no problem

This guy from Thailand working at Manukau branch who helped me put screen protector on was extremely helpful and knew exactly how to put this complicated but awesome screen protector on my note 20 ultra.. Great skills and knowledge . Thank you and sorry I forgot your name .

Awesome range of products and competitive prices on average cheaper than competitors. Main downside is around payment terms as with credit cards or delayed payment services they charge surcharges... debit card payments being the most feasible option.

Great range of products including the latest items. Prices are a bit higher compared online but with the helpful service and warranty support, there is a better tradeoff. Staff member called Gary was very helpful. Also spacious parking.

One of my favourite shops to be at in general. Wish the staff would be a little bit active. I always struggle to find someone available to help but regardless! Good pricing, average support for warranty, very slow to respond for returns

Great products and great service by staff! Almost accidentally bought an advanced multi adapter that only catered for Mac then one of the staff quickly stopped me when he realised i was carrying an Asus laptop and refered me to the universal adapters that carered to windows. Great Stuff Pb Tech

I went to PB tech to buy a monitor they were able to price match with play tech and I saved $70. The man who served me was very helpful and kind. We had to wait 30 min for the monitor to be taken from there warehouse to the store for me... But they had a computer set up and I just played Valorant while I waited:) amazing store. nice people. Terrible parking, what little there is of it. This store is alright, but it is lacking customer service, possibly because of staff shortage. I was able to find what I was after, but it took me a while. Signage for the various departments is lacking in many areas. For the tech savvy, this place is a goldmine. For the ordinary layman, it's the stuff of nightmare.

Went there to purchase gaming pc with 2 headsets. Sales representative Tony, gave discount as PB Tech Bday sale was to be in couple of hours. If I did not grt the discount, I would have been so disappointed. it's my 2nd time purchasing gaming pc from here. Would recommend PB Tech over any store any day!

Wouldn't go past PB Tech. New laptops, hardware for our network, they have it all and so much more. If somethings not in stock, it will be ready for pickup usually the same day. Prices, if that's your thing, usually beat what ever you can find. I wouldn't bother wasting time to shop around. Repairs, all done to manufacturers specs and can carryout warranty work as well. Gamers, these guys have it all. Mobile phones, great selection no matter what your preference might be.

Great advice. I took my laptop in and the guy in the service department advised my hard drive had died. He offered me a brochure for Digital Recovery Ltd to see if they could retrieve stored info on my hard drive. He also mentioned that if I was to buy a new laptop to wait till tomorrow Black Friday when all the good sales will be on. Appreciated the help.

It's great that it exists. So I can order online and pick up straight away without having to deal with salespeople. Pb Tech also does the country a great service by stress testing the GCA.

Staff not friendly at all, they look already rushed and don't know basic information such as delivery time frame and they don't seem to care checking it. Store is messy, boxes and products everywhere. Definitely not a good PBTech such as North Shore ones.

It's a bit of a mixed bag, get the wrong guys and you will have a hard time

Great amount of items to choose from. Offering same thing at different price points. Lots of choice. Helpful staff but as all Asian, English is not they're 1st language and they can be hard to understand. Lots of good specials. Even security was helpful and polite. Big downside for the size of the store and how busy it gets is there is very limited parking.

Great stores, HUGE selection of products and well thought out web experience. PB tech is my go to store for all thing computer related and even more things recently. There have been times I've had to exchange items due to faults or unsuitability and its been a painless experience each time. However, recently I've noticed a real degradation in online shipping experience. Products can take upto a week, sometimes even more (even when living in non-rural suburban area) to arrive and in one instance I pre-ordered a mouse and was quite upset to see it sitting on the shelf at the store while the status of my order was still 'awaiting product'. Due to having the product already on order online, it took a week extra to get a mouse that I should have received day one. Bottom line, do not order a product online from PB tech if there is any sense of urgency or time sensitivity around the order, just get it from elsewhere or go to their actual physical store.

Pretty disappointed to give these guys such a low rating as usually they've been superb, but my last order has really turned me away as a customer. Ordered a phone and had some delivery issues so I sought to change address, messaged their customer support repeatedly to no answer. It was collected by someone from PBTech but it's now listed as completed and I don't have the phone. I can't exactly call, I ordered that phone for a reason. EDIT: Resolved

Still the best place in NZ to get IT related stuff.

PB tech is always the Go-To destination for picking up Tech gear. Staff are super friendly and always willing to help. The Manukau branch has a clean easy to follow layout that you can spend hours working your way through at all the various piece of kit to spend money on.

Great range of products, although they didn't have the adaptor I was after. It was available to buy online though. I went in about 15 minutes before closing and everyone seemed to busy to help, but one man that looked a little flustered did stop to help me which I appreciated. I found an alternate product which was great. Checkout was smooth and fast. Bit of a pain paying 2.5% extra on the credit card

will only buy from PB tech. bought a lenovo yoga c940 yesterday afternoon. sales guy was really helpful and gave me a good discount. Today i found out its their 27yrs anniversary sale, so i went back to tell them i just bought a laptop yesterday with a higher price, they quickly refunded me the balance. So awesome, so easy to deal with. With buy from them in the future.

Enjoyed being left to browse in peace. First time running low on stock. No professional grade studio mics. But friendly knowledgeable staff from the security guard to sales clerk to cashier. Lots of parking.

Went for black Friday weekend specials and was impressed with the organisation. Cars were dire ted to parking spaces. Barriers were set up for queues. Masks and hand sanitisers available and limited number of people in the store mad it pleasant to browse around.

Went there to just have a look for gaming headphones. But couldn't find a better deal. But overall was nice store and had some other great deals

I purchased a PS5 and had selected delivery. About a week before launch I called and asked to pick up the item instead. In their system, this deletes the original request and creates a new one, which then removed me from the pre-order placed in September and was told if I was lucky I might be able to get one in the 2nd shipment Originally ran into issues, the branch said to call web orders, web orders said to call back the branch, manager at the branch said stock comes from HO and nothing I could do. Another person from the web order team said "Well you cancelled your order and theres no stock, what do you want? just wait." Had to kick up a fuss to get it resolved, but finally got through to someone in HO that was able to escalate it to the right people - Then had another follow up call saying it was on the Saturday delivery (this was Friday afternoon!) In the end, was a positive result, but feel that if I didn't kick up as much as a fuss as I did (about 5 calls, over an hour on the phone, FB messages etc) I would of been pushed aside. +1 to the person who took my call, saw the issue and escalated

Nice store for all your computer needs. Bought external hard drive casing from here. Had no problems, all done very quickly. Efficient & professional. Staff were great & informative. Knew exactly what I wanted. Enjoyable experience. Will shop here often for my computer items.

Amazing customer support. Special thanks to Saad Malik who helped me for my monitor arm issue. A few screws got lost and he tried to find those and shipped to my address. Very impressed with the service.

Awesome amount of products. We always shop here first but we always wait over an hour for someone to help us. Leigh seems to be the only one always going out of the way to serve customers the others who work there are on their phones or talking amongst each other instead of helping the customers.

These shops are so cool! Wish they were around is Australia! Unless you have a good discount level with them, like an account, you'll get terrible prices from here. So, if you're in a pinch and need something immediately, they're great, and if you have an account with a good discount tier. Else I recommend buying someplace cheaper.

I went in with a co-worker and asked for help. The salesperson was pretty much the most useless salesperson on the face of this planet, she was absolutely no help at all. We wanted an adaptor to go with the few things recently purchased there, and was quickly told - no such thing, ok, see you later - literally. She even did the two hands up waving gesture - ok, see you later. Anyway, moving on, I said, no we can't give up. We found a pod of workers, who were just milling around in a circle talking. She was in there too. One guy from the pod, one hero, one super star, stopped talking and came straight to us. Back and forth, fumbling, I knew alot, he knew alot but we couldn't click, but he persevered and never gave up. We ended up leaving with an adaptor. So went home, adaptor didn't work, came back, talked to the service guy right at the front door, he was also bloody awesome. In the end, we found an adaptor that worked perfectly. My 5 star review is because of these two guys. Thanks you two.

My regular go to PB Tech in Auckland. The Staff go above and beyond to make sure I'm getting what I need and the best I can get for such needs. Very friendly and approachable.

No doubt they have a variety of tech products and prices are well too, but staffs are up and down but mostly down. They seem to try avoid you most times and when you do get their attention, they rush you. It is ok if the customer ask you to show the product the 2nd time, why getting grumpy to take it out of the locked cabin. I guess if dealing with customer with the smile, they will definitely go out and spread nice words for the whole company. The staffs at the checkout are nice though. Just a humble opinion.

I went to pick up $5000 worth of computer hardware from their Manukau store I bought online and when I got there their pick up warehouse is closed on Saturdays. They made me wait a week for them to arrive because they sell items they don't have in stock. STOP SELLING ITEMS YOU DON'T HAVE IN STORE PLEASE. It plays with people's patience. Good service though decent price. Mad points for that.

I buy almost all of my computer equipment from PB Tech, a huge range of great quality products, I've bought chargers, USB Flash Drives, Peripherals, Components and much more from PB Tech and I've never, EVER had to bring anything back for repair. I'm still using some products that I bought from them 10 YEARS AGO!!! I ordered online and in-store, delivery is usually within 1-3 working days and in-store is always a nice experience too. Highly recommended!!

Totally different from the Penrose branch! Manukau was packed when we walked in and the sales floor staff were making every effort to see everyone that walked in, whereas Penrose this morning only had a handful of customers and they were just standing around in couples chatting each other up!! Lots of knowledgeable staff floating around and lots of stock on hand, went in for a replacement laptop charger, price was a little more than other online shops, but I still like being able to test things before I buy

One of the best places to get computer hardware. The place is pretty much the computer equipment supermarket. If you want something specific though, it's probably a better idea to check their website first to check for stock availability (if you don't like online shopping). Prices are really good too. Theirs repair service is also helpful.

Good prices, good selection of items to choose from, lots of staff. However, on 2 different occasions did I ask a staff for an item (which one was very desperate as it was urgent and nowhere else seemed to sell it) and the staff either reply "No" or "I don't think we have that" and leaves it at that. Then, for both of those occasions, have I asked another person who searched it on their database and found the product IN the store. This irritated my immensely (especially with that urgent product I REALLY needed, as I was about to leave the store until my dad recommended asking again). So to anyone who wants to know if they sell a certain item whilst in store, ask them to search on the computer. Otherwise, see if he product is available in store on their website.

Great place to shop at if your after anything techy. Televisions, computers, hardware, gaming and everything in between. Friendly staff available to assist when you need. They even help load new purchases in your car. Great affordable prices.

Great all round computer and entertainment shop. Wide range of all things computer, phone, console, tablet etc related and also have an easy to navigate website with reasonably accurate stock availability at stores on show as well. Prices are very competitive and they do charge extra if paying by credit card but great for debit/cash purchases. Thanks to them I was able to change all the lights at home to all LED light bulbs for less than $400. Far cheaper than anywhere else I have looked at within New Zealand.

I brought items worth $100 after i ordered the items i received an email about a item that was out of stock so i waited and waited after 4 months of waiting i still did not get that product because i cancelled that item after cancelling that item i got my package 2 day after. IM PRETTY SURE IT DOES NOT TAKE FOUR MONTHS TO REORDER SOMETHING THAT IS OUT OF STOCK

The best store in NZ. Staffs were very helpful in choosing the product. one can get full satisfaction of the product and service from PB Tech. Prices are competitive. I have bough wireless headphones, phone and laptop from there.

I love PB Tech, but sadly every time I've been here I've had to seek out staff for help and often get passed on to another staff member anyway because the first one doesn't know basic answers like where a common product is in the store. I find it difficult to walk the store layout as it doesn't seem to have a specific layout and is a bit all over the place with stock. Other than that I still love PB Tech and will continue to shop here.

Generally pretty good. Not so great at notifying you your orders are ready to collect but good pricing and RMAs are quick and easy. Actual in-store staff are predominantly non-native so are a little hard to understand more often than not.

I'm a big IT nerd so I love this store. Even if your not that will versed in the world of IT the super helpful staff are always standing around on standby ready to help and answer questions

Went here for the Winter Price slash. I had originally gone in for the Phillips Ambilight 65" TV priced cheaply $998. But when i saw the Samsung 2019 QLED $2000 I wanted it! I was a bit unsure because of the price so after a bit of thought it was decided we absolutely had to have it! Firstly it is really hard to find available staff. Then we were told that they were sold out. I then said I wanted the floor model. He said yes but it would be for the next day. I expected there to be a discount, its the floor model, everyone's touched it, there was even a mark on it that he tried to scratch off to show it was ok. But still no discount because they would lose out on money. In the end we went with the ambilight. We offered to carry the tv to the counter. First of all im trying to place this 65" tv against the wall so we don't block the queue, then the sales lady is telling me to give her the paper, whilst I'm trying to move tv. Now she's telling me to scan the long barcode which I try to but no, that's the wrong one its the other one (shorter one) Overall I go here purely if there are discounts, the customer service is non-existent and I dread trying to find help or trying to buy something because everyone is 90% of the time, busy.

Great service! They pretty much have everything you could need for your own build... Or if you're after the right device or some advise. In case it's not in the store you can easily order.

Apart from staff yelling out to each other from one side of the room to the other side as if no one was there, place looks nicely set up, good selection of tech items available along with accessories pretty happy with today's experience

A place where a tech lover can get lost. Whole lot of electronic items to choose from. The staff is helpful, not like in other electronic stores in PB tech I've noticed that team members does not push the customer to buy an item that the customer looking at, instead they provide quite insightful information to help the customers decision of the purchase. Even for window shoppers they provide insights about the product

Workers are very friendly and informative and are always willing to lend a hand or answer any questions that you may have. The only thing I am not a fan of is the layout as it seems to be abit messy at times but I am just being picky. They have quite a bit of tech available in store but it doesn't hurt to check online first to see if what you need is in stock in the store before you get there, as I've seen a couple of people get frustrated due to not checking before they check in 😂

I bought a smart phone from here 2 days before it was on sale and they refunded the difference. No hastle, friendly, staff. Good prices too. Will definitely be my no1 stop for all my future purchases

High tech sales place, not very cheap, lots of options are available. Sales team is very helpful. However, male sales are generally more knowledgeable than female sales. Randomly, asked a few male sales, who answered straight away without hesitate, female sale responded with lots of confusion.

They have their covid pickup system well sorted.

Dropped off a screen as a warranty repair and waited 5 minutes at the front desk for a tech to clear away his last job. To then be told I was in the wrong place. Out around the building to an anonymous looking warehouse entrance with bells to ring while I'm loaded up with a return. Guy who answered was helpful but getting to there not ideal. Process needs looking at PB Tech. Update 1 May - still waiting on the warranty repair of my screen 6 weeks so far....

Great store. I either always find what I am looking for or a suitable replacement. Special mention for Peter Kim who is possibly the best salesman I have experienced. Every time I need something, he sorts it without issue. An asset to PB Tech. Would reccomend

Busy outlet, the staff very helpful considering I looked like I was going to hold up the place. Parking is in front of building, the time I arrived the car park was full but did not have to wait long.

Great range of stock, store is laid out pretty well. It is usually a challenge to find someone to help you as they are always busy especially on weekends. Parking at the store is annoying, there's lots of little carpark spots rather than 1 big parking lot.

Always a good store to visit, they have something for everybody. Staff are pretty friendly and polite. Good prices when things are on sale and they usually beat people's pricing if you ask nicely.

What a busy store, but great customer service. Very patient staff and attends all your queries quick and responds them well.

They've got a fairly broad selection. However, there fix it policy requires you to take your item back to the exact store you got it from, which sucks if you bought something from an Auckland store but live in, say, Rotorua. Also, there service is a bit spotty, unless you hang around big ticket items or luck into someone who gives a damn. It's a budget tech place, but as they say "you get what you pay for".

Need floor staff to be more polite and friendly and helpful even if it is almost closing time. It is not just about that sale, service is important.

The shop's interior looks new and very spacious. Parking at the front of the shop is very limited although the shop is located in a huge lot. The place is well fenced and guarded for after hours. Well stocked with various items and gadgets. Staff members are ok, and will mostly ignores you to browse in peace.

Huge selection of tech items and they're usually priced well. Careful when shopping though because prices show excluding GST and including GST. It just gets me excited seeing the cheap exc GST price to realize it's not the full price. Also, staff are up and down but mostly down. They seem to try avoid you most times and when you do get their attention, they rush you. I go here quite often and only once someone approached me. Just my humble opinion though.

4 days for click and collect of two in stock cables. No-one answers the phone. Got contacted and they said one cable was out of stock and replaced it with another.

I have only been in a few times, on the times I've been in I've found what I've been looking for. Store layout at times comes across as intuitive (this could easily be due to the quantity of times I've been there). The Staff seem friendly enough, although often when I've been into the store, I've often felt ignored Overall a decent enough place, will probably be able to say more, the more I go

Great selection instore. Unfortunately did not have a replacement battery for our Lenov Laptop unable to give a date when they would have the product in-store. Ordered from another competitor wait time 1wk

OK, it's not a best computer store around, but it's pretty much compensated by generally low prices, specials and such. Besides, I had no problem swapping recently bought HDD for another model, without any 'restocking fees', despite what's written on their website. So, all in all, it's a good place for shopping, especially if you know what you want.

The customer service here is outstanding. I had a problem with my newly purchased monitor that had a few pixel defects and they were more then happy to give me a new replacement. I went home with the new replacement monitor and tested it for pixel defects and it had 1stuck/dead pixel. Its not a fault with pbtech but quality control at Asus on that model in particular since its very uncommon to have 2 monitors in a row have pixel defects. I brought it back and even though the pixel defect was tiny and I was very nitpicky, the service department team (Janice) gave me a refund on the monitor with a smile. I wasn't expecting such good service and even though I left with no monitor I'm still very happy and will definitely be back! Top notch service!

Very busy place. Latest technology with reasonable price. Knowledgeable friendly staff. I knew what I wanted and it was a very quick experience.

Pretty great selection on items, majority of the time the staff are happy to help find something, but sometimes you get the occasional person that doesn't help as much. Customer service for errors on their part however is something they are not great at handling, I bought a laptop that didn't have the same specs as the website/in-store or even the box it was in, and instead of being told about the current sale on the day and having an amazing laptop being couple dollars off the first laptop, they said "Sorry we don't have anything that's close to a replacement". This was after a technician decided to reboot the laptop.

A great product range, great staff who are really helpful, great prices and all round good guys. They even sent a free portable power supply to us during the aftermath of the February earthquakes. That was really fantastic of them. Thank you, PB Technologies, you're GREAT!

I picked up a Web order for a case and a screen protector, and the process went terribly wrong when I came to pick it up. I was invited to return to sort things out, and received really awesome service, and the initial miscommunication has been resolved wonderfully!

I purchased a new solid state drive from PB tech Queen st. Advice given was 10/10, the staff was very helpful, offering suggestions based on my needs. The staff was very knowledgeable of the products and could suggest the right product to me. The item I purchased was cheaper than any other IT stores in the country. Overall my experience with PT tech is a perfect 10/10.

Serviceable as always, enough service to get what I needed in store. They really need to fix their driveway and gate though. It's like a post apocalyptic landscape.

Excellent PC parts, IT equipment, and general technology store. The Manukau store has a good range of items, with many on display. Great prices. They would have received five stars, but lost points for their dumb, frustrating and inflexible branch system where getting repairs on goods bought online requires a customer to go to a hole-in-the-wall at the back of their Manukau centre, rather than dropping the item off at the Service Desk at the front of the store. Having waited in a queue for 20 minutes, and then told to go elsewhere... pffft.

Variety is abundant, prices are affordable and staff friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I find the the checkout staff here MUCH friendlier than Penrose (they day hi instead of just "yes next") the few staff I've spoken too I've found knowledgeable and less condescending/impatient than the Penrose branch. I'll often travel here despite Penrose branch being local to me because of stock availability and the nicer staff.

Not really helpful, their wise staff is so limited, dont go at lunch time, nice variety of electronic materials. Very good price.

Went in at 0350 pm and only had 10 mins to get a nortons premium for 2 devices for $67, cheaper that noel lemmings or jbhifi , staff was fast and help to get it to me quick cheers

Plenty of staff but most appeared to be taking a lunch break when I was there. I could have used some advice. Instead I left without buying what I came to check out so I could look online at product reviews. Parking was limited and a bit tight but would probably be ok on a day when there isn't a sale on. Prices and descriptions were missing from several items I was looking at.

Staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Previous visit the guy didnt seem to know as much. We got a great deal on our purchase.

it is one of the biggest IT store with very competitive prices. they also have online shopping. Due to cheap price they charge 2.5% for credit card payments.

They have everything from PC to Tablets to Gadgets and drones and cameras as well. And chargers as well as Power banks as well and batteries for your phone as well. Pricy but just right. Staffs are very helpful and kind as well.

Good place to shop and I often shop here but need to improve on customer service especially during busy times. Very few staff on the floor to serve you which makes it difficult to shop and get advise.

Great service, refunded store credit, even when I got the wrong ink number! bought my whole gaming beast in parts from here over 6 Months, never any problems, all faulty parts replaced on the spot, no questions asked!! My personal choice for PC gear, Student Discount aswell! =D

Excellent place to shop as usual. They have great variety and most items at reasonable prices. Purchased a great DJI backpack from PB Tech today. The backpack can open fully and our DSLR camera, lenses, drone & GoPro with underwater dome, batteries and chargers can fit in one bag!

I purchase from the PB Tech at Auckland University regularly. For a small shop, it has a good range of electronics, particularly relating to gaming (headsets, keyboards, and mice). The prices for these are also not outside reach for uni students- they frequently have specials that discount the prices of their existing stock. The staff have also been very helpful and onto it when providing service. Great location makes it easy to access.

Very poor layout of the shop. Penrose branch is much easier to find your way around. Good to just pop in and pick something up but not for comparing products.

PB Tech has really great pricing and a large showroom. It can be hard to get the attention of staff at times though. The car park is a little small to accommodate too.

PB Tech hasn't on the top of my go-to list for equipment purchases in the past-the prices are great, and the selection is pretty good (even for Mac users), but the wait for shipping usually pushed me to another store. Now that they've got a store in Wellington, I anticipate that problem going away.

Hunter Scott made everthing to deliver the best shopping experience with PB Tech. Awsome customer service and support, fast communication over e-mails. I highly recommend everyone who is looking for a hassle-free experience to use PB TECH! Got my poweful gaming/workstation from there. Will post photos once the build is done!

Good customer service, one stop for all my needs

So I go here a lot for work gear, I have mixed feelings about this place, only once or twice have the staff been helpful, so on average I wouldn't rate them being too helpful, I cant stand sales staff that dont make the effort and stand around talking shop with there fellow employees, so unless you have done research on there website obtaining the part number of exactly what you need so you can present it to one of them, your pretty much on your own, I'm not saying it's horrible there it's just not an efficient experience for me, like I said my dealings are for work so I want to be in then out, some of the dudes at this PBtech...need to be out.

The team at PB Tech manukau was very helpful and they were polite that's why I rated 5 star i would recommend this place to my friends and family

PB Technologies is one of the best computer stores in New Zealand. You can generally find what ever your looking for the service is great always helpful and always trying to give you a better computer experience. I am custom building my own gaming PC all the parts i am getting are all from PB. I have saved over $400 from buying all my components from PB. So over all good store good service and good products.

Best tech store by far, A+ for implementing Vaccine Pass

Often it will be better to just shop online instead of coming in. Especially for things like cables, which I've often found not stocked at all in the cable corner.
