Great service as usual. Sales crew take the time to patiently explain the differences in the various items on offer.

Its local fav go to for consumer electronics. plenty of parking. service is good. but not a big location so dont expect to see everything displayed.

On Saturday 4th December I headed up to PB Tech in Albany. My mouse had given up the ghost and I needed a new one. It was my first visit to this store. I am waiting for knee surgery so I have a disabled parking permit. When I drove into the disabled park Jerry noticed straight away and came over to see if I needed any help. He asked what I was looking for and I gave him my dead mouse. Jerry took it to the staff at the entrance and got them to find a replacement for me. Once they had found one he came back to me to show me and let me have the price. When I agreed to the purchase he let me go straight to the till to pay. The store was not open for customers to wander around and there were two lines of customers. One for Click and Collect and the other for general purchases. Jerry was friendly and polite, making sure that everyone was in the right queue and able to find what they were looking for. I have done a number of shadow shops for retail outlets so have experienced good and bad service over the years. Jerry is a credit to your store and his great service has ensured that I will come back to PB Tech Albany for all my future tech purchases. Congratulations

I needed a phone cover, and screen protector found just what I was looking for, The staff were knowledgeable, humorous and friendly. I was criticised at the door by an elderly lady over my wearing a mask. Omg, I love this community spirit 🥰

Outstanding service. Very knowledgeable staff regarding PC part advice, both great suggestions, alternatives, and through checking. This was following independent research, so I initially had components to compare and questions that needed answers. The finance part of the team also made the payment processes seemless. A polite, knowledgeable, and friendly atmosphere, I would 100% recommend PB Tech for your technological needs and queries.

Modern new PB store finally in Albany. While appears smaller than the others it still jammed packed with all your computer/ I.T needs. Team seemed friendly and knowledgeable. Store just lacked a little retail theatre as a lot of the product wasn’t turned on and felt a little sterile.

My most recent experience with PB Tech Glenfield had put me off PB Tech completely. Or at least I thought it had. Just the other day I had an issue with Bluetooth on my PC. I emailed my issue into the Albany branch and that same day I had a response from Andy who offered me options to resolve. I selected one and he immediately sent me out a new adapter and it arrived the next day. I can't rate Andy Liu's service high enough. Absolutely superb!

Visited on a busy day and there were loads of staff who were super helpful. A great experience. Always good deals to be had.

Very helpful. As aged customers, we wanted a simple IPhone upgrade. The staff were genuinely helpful. Phoning to follow up when stock was unavailable, offering an alternative choice, phoning when ready, with text follow up. Going the extra mile when it came to assisting with a case and cover. A recommended store.

Very fast click and collect order processing during Auckland lockdown. Far better than many other shops here. Reasonable prices and a good choice of parts.

Have only been here for collection via click & collect. Friendly, quick & efficient service. Plenty parking available. Took 1 star away coz there is a fee if you order online using a buy now pay later service with PB Tech. Good deals on though. No doubt I will be back again if I need an upgrade on a tech device. Less items than the ones I saw at the other lications. I hoped that some of the staffs can be a little more kind to the customers.

PBTech is by far one of the best Tech supplier in New Zealand. Its customer service is second to none. Rex is one of the sales persons who is super friendly and approachable. He made me to come back again and again and buy almost all my tech stuff from this branch. Thank you Rex! I highly recommend this shop over others. Trust me! you won't find this level of service any where else in New Zealand.

Good prices with friendly staff with decent stock levels and a good range of products. Staff are actually decent when compared to PB Tech Queen Street. If at all, I wish that the products displayed would be bigger but nontheless it's still good.

Not a bad computer store. The staff can be a bit stiff, but are friendly enough if you have a question. There is plenty of parking which is a bonus. The prices are usually pretty competitive.

Very helpful staff during these trying times

I visited them last week to purchase a canon rp, The service was outstanding. Ian was really patient and knowledgeable recommended me the best product to suit my needs. By far the best customer service I experienced. I will definitely purchase again from them and I would recommend pbtech Albany to everyone.

Love PB Tech, the specials are always good when they're on, honestly can't fault them, have had to make a return in the past on a warranty and it was sorted then and there.

The store was busy today. there was only one person to help with queries, the stock did not reflect what was showing as available online and at one point there was a single teller at the front while 9 customers patiently waited. A quick trip to PBT took my entire lunch! Not good enough. I would have done a click & collect but I was unsure whether the product would suit my needs. There was one person helping customers, with over 15 people needing help while I was there. I think I'll go to Wairau Park instead. I've always found what I was looking for there.

A store thoroughly needed. I have visited many PB techs being an avid tech user and this would be my second favourite location (second to the Hamilton location). It is fairly open and simple to navigate however is a bit on the small side. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful particularly compared to the other North shore location. This is now my go to store and I have had no issues in the many visits I have made.

Had what I wanted in stock, was adding a fan cooling system to my home theater cabinet and pb tech has a massive selection of cooling solutions to choose from. You can always find something.

staff were quick to come assist and very friendly. staff member who served me lacked a bit of knowledge but worked hard to find me what i needed. Have gone in a few times and found the staff to all be the same in that regard. Would be nice to talk to a staff member who has more of a passion for computers.

Just wanted to thank Jay Chen from the Albany store for his fantastic service. He organised a custom built PC for us. Jay was really knowledgeable about the best components to use and alternatives if our first choice wasn't available. He was readily available to answer queries when we needed a few changes. Jay is very helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond providing great advice and assistance to us.

Have used pbtech since it was one little shop. Think I've bought seven computers for various folk, and various repairs and upgrades. Today had my first problem with a new video card with oddly placed connectors. Very happy to have received a refund without any grief at all.

I ordered a printer cartridge which we needed urgently for a family business and could not operate without it. I placed an online order and waited the aprox 1 hour for pick up. I then called and spoke to a helpful guy, Johnathan, who proceeded to rush the order despite the fact I know they would have been under the pump given the Covid19 restrictions. I couldn’t be more grateful for his empathy and A grade service to help a small business get back up and running. THANK YOU.

My package had yet to be processed but that didn't stop the team from checking their stock thouroughly and making sure I had covered all bases with Humm. They were busy yet very professional. My package was proccessed by the warehouse or office team at some point but I appreciate the hardwork the front line customer service staff put in. Thanks team.

Good sale prices and well organized for pickups

The customer service was really good the lady was helpful and really nice but the lady? On the front door was so rude and almost intimidating not welcoming at all , I called prior to going there because I wanted to get a tv she stood in the way of the door on the way in and questioned us , then on the way out she? blocked the door again while we were carrying a 65” tv so rude. Maybe she should work at a night club as a bouncer and not at an electronics shop.

There is lots of parking for their clients in front of the business and the surrounding area. Helpful staff and they have a big selection of goods. Each range has prices ranging from low to high, depending on what your requirements are. Reccomend for new clients and we will be back.

A place to find mant gadgets and accessories of IT stuffs in reasonable price when you paid by cash or EFTPOS. There will be extra charges for credit card payments. Be aware posting prices are often VAT excluded so check the price again if the price is much lower then others.

Great tech at great prices, sometimes you need to look around, I found a much higher quality monitor at a better price than some of the cheap stuff they were selling, but it was not priced.

I was struggling with my internet signal. I am not a machine guy.. so I asked them about the problem. They explained kindly about the product and installation. I successfully installed it myself as their guide. Thank you :)

Got an awesome deal on a refurbished dell laptop, I did get two faulty machines but they replaced it on the spot, they were only small faults like the touch pad not working correctly and the other one had some dead pixels on the screen, I definitely recommend there extended warranty, I'm really happy with the laptop for the price it works great and it is super fast love it cheers pb tech.

Nice new store with attentive and friendly team, well set up but seems to carry smaller range than wairau branch although still has all of the essentials with a very handy location. However I will still often travel to wairau branch for the bigger range and displays

Typical PBTech - stuffed with tech on sale. Not the largest example of the chain, but staff were friendly and I enjoyed browsing through more than normal.

Terrible service and rude staff. Edit: Manager called me to discuss and explain situation. Whilst having extra customers is not an excuse for your staff to be rude, it does explain the higher waiting times. Thus I have changed to a 3 star.

Good deals and staff seem to know their stuff. This is a smaller store but it's great location and ease of parking etc make it very handy

Compared to other PBTech stores I have been to, they had much less stock of items, and instore everything seemed a bit less organised. I would suspect because it has only been opened recently. But they were quick to proccess online purchase pickups and sales were speedly processed. In the coming months, I bet things will be more organised and have more stock of popular items.

The keys to the house and the last night and I will be in the car to gain profit is not the named account for you have.

Good tech site for all your techie stuff, plus its very close to local residents of Albany, Browns bay, Unsworth Heights, Dairy Flat etc. Problem is they don't service Electric Scooter (Xiaomi M365/M365 Pro) yet (asked them via phone call), so I have no idea why they consider themselves as a authorized Xiaomi Service center lol. Act up & consider adding those repair services in the future please!
