B.Highly recommended. If your getting a new set up make sure you ask for Dan. I was going to get a new pc, monitors and all the rest from PB Tech but thought id see how Playtech compared and I'm glad I did. Gave Dan my budget and he nailed it. The thought and design he put into it was top notch. He came in under budget and I ended up getting way more for my dollar than what I was going to get at PB. Customer service is great/ easy to contact. Thanks heaps

12 months later - had some weird and very intermittent problems with this PC. Dan and the team took the issue seriously and when I took it in they got it sorted while I waited. We took the opportunity to do some hardware upgrades and the PC is now back up to top spec (for a PC without a discrete graphics card) 🙂

D.Was walking past Playtech when I saw the manager by the name Rowan giving out sample headphones! I was extremely excited to try them out, he even offered me plastic bags and joked that it was 2000 dollars.. Turns out he wasnt joking.. Headphones were great though!
M.I found a TON of Playtech merchandise in a rubbish dump. Boxes and boxes of unopened laptops, usbs, flat clickers, you name it. A gold mine of high quality gaming gear, completely untouched. Thank you Playtech! You rock!!

Ordered a new keyboard and mouse with extra keys over lockdown, the mouse and extra keys turned up the next day and when i asked about the keyboard got a response within the hour letting me know there was a delay but it'll be there tomorrow. sure enough 8am the next day it's here. O.Very unhelpful staff. I was after a gaming laptop, but the staff member (Fairly handsome looking, albeit thin, dude) couldn't offer any help. He claimed he didn't know anything about laptops, then he tried to bail out of the situation by even claiming not to work there. Things quickly escalated and I needed an intervention from the manager. I'm a really shy person and this encounter was very unpleasant.
However when I tried my luck with the manager and told him of what laptop I'm after, another employee attacked me. I will not be coming back, unless the manager resurrects me.

G.Recently went in to playtech to get a pc built urgently and Dan provided a stellar service at helping me pick the best parts for my need and even doing some custom stuff to the build, managed to get the pc built within 2 hours and could take it home with me. 10/5 playtech is the best place to go for your pc gaming needs and service is a much more full experience rather than just a bland sales gig returned the next day to buy a new high resolution screen.
A.I asked for a flat clicker. The salesperson didn't even know what it was! Luckily the manager came to help me and he gave me what I exactly wanted.
N.Had nothing but a good experience with Playtech and have bought a few big ticket items from them. Delivery is cheap and fast. Sales are great and I've scored a few wicked bargains during sales. Staff have always been great.
Now days they're the first vendor I go to when looking for new gear. I'd have given a 5 star rating but no-one gets a perfect rating from me, unless its me ;-), I can be bought however ;-)

C.I was looking for some 144hz monitors in playtech after having a bad warranty experience with PBtech. Bought myself two monitors during the level 3 lockdown and click and collect was hassle free and super quick. Also bought a bunch of case fans during level 2 and very happy with my purchase.
I'd also like to point out that I'm a fan of the playtech coins system, it would be nice if they were worth just a bit more. Overall, solid store with a decent range of electronics that PBtech doesn't have in their catalogue.
J.I was looking around the store when I heard Rowan the manager give a loud compliment to one of his staff. I was able to hear how thankful he was as he praised their hard work. That guy Adam was crying afterwards, presumably as a result of his boosted morale. It's nice to see retail store managers express through words how he values his employees.

Plus, they were so kind enough to explain to me that the offer ended despite the poster was still on display, so I looked for another product which had a 30% discount instead. Didn't ask to see a manager and indeed was a swift and good experience.
A.Wow! That has to be one of the easiest online purchases - from cart to delivery details to payment. It all just worked very smoothly, auto-filled from my browser, recognised my address, and just a pleasure to use. Very quick confirmation email and shipping notification, then updates from the courier as the goods came. The monitor I purchased arrived and works great - would purchase from Playtech again!
k.Items sold are quite decent, however the delivery can be a gamble at time. First delivery was great, I got all my items delivered without any issues. However on my second delivery, I have learned the hard way (if I may say) that they are using the "infamous" NZ post who have some questionable ways of delivery. The delivery person supposedly came to my apartment twice but did not ring nor left a card saying he did attempted the delivery (and I waited in my apartment).
I am okay to wait a little longer for a delivery, but I am frustrated to have to pay for a delivery that did not came, so I had to pay a few extra bucks to go pick up the order myself at the post office
J.Not always the cheapest price available but usually on par and well worth the few dollars difference. In a competitive market Playtech offers real value to the consumer via flexible payment options, $5 nationwide delivery (super fast turnaround too) and great customer service. M.My last experience with a major purchase went smoothly and quickly, definitely five stars. I'm a long time customer of Playtech and my experience with them has been good except for when I needed to return a faulty web cam. It appeared my purchase history was not available to the returns people and it was implied I might of been rough with the web cam. After getting assertive they agreed I send back the web cam. It would have come to them looking like it had just left them after purchase (in other words in pristine condition). In the end I was upset by this (because of my loyalty to them). I've been prepared to put this behind me as an isolated event and I would still recommend Playtech to anyone wanting a good shopping experience.

S.Thanks to COVID we were unable to travel to Auckland (from Perth) for our son's 21st Birthday. Happily I knew that he was hunting a new gaming rig and Playtech hooked me up in no time. Emailed a couple of times and responses were quick and clear. Purchase was simple and quality is excellent!!

Text alert about delivery. Stand looks brand new, all the screws and what not are there and it's in the original box. I ordered a pair of Sony Bluetooth earbuds because they were $90 from Playtech against $118 from other stores. Even though they were not in stock at the store, Playtech arranged delivery straight from their supplier and I received them only a couple of days later.
I appreciated the prompt communication and tracking number so that I was kept informed all the way through.

C.I had a mouse I bought from Playtech develop a fault a year after purchasing and thought I may have some issues making a claim under warranty. I could not have been more wrong! I opened a warranty claim ticket through their website and all throughout the process the communication was excellent. Whenever a new piece of information was given or a step was completed in the process I was notified via email and knew exactly what was required to proceed. All I had to do was drop the faulty unit back into their store (I live nearby). Initially I thought I was going to have to wait for them to check the unit, then return to the manufacturer etc which would have taken weeks. I was pleasantly surprised when they issued me a brand new boxed unit then and there. I thought the customer service was excellent and left feeling very satisfied with the outcome. Thanks very much!

B.This has to be the best experience I have had in a long time with any supply company. Not only was Playtech $50.00 cheaper than any other store they delivered next day at a fraction of normal courier costs. A+ to Playtech. I ordered a Gigabyte 1 Tb m.2 Airbus.

Then the manager came and did the job. Ugh, so many chocolate chip cookies! He even disposed all the cookies. Now my pc runs 3 times faster.

A.[Update] Service here is absolutely stunning, and returns can be done without hassle. The staff here are quick on repairs and are usually done within a day or so. I had visited here several times to replace a faulty motherboard and the staff handled it quickly and professionally. (Sorry Playtech!) I would absolutely recommend shopping here, both retail and online.
[Past Review]Visited here recently, overall it is great. Parking can be a hassle during weekdays due to the crowded nature of the building complex but there are reserved spots for customers near the entrance of the building. The shop seems to be connected with a warehouse at the back, so what is being displayed in-stock in the website means that there is stock. There are a few monitors, mice and keyboards on display with a streamer's desk fully equipped with microphones and dual monitor setups. The staff are fast and friendly, knowledgeable of what they are selling and what might be compatible with what.
I would recommend!

J.Unfortunately due to Covid I was not able to bring my PC in for diagnosis. I had a warning screen that told me to remove the cookies from the case. Knowing I was in the States, they walked me through the process of opening my case and removing the cookies. I enjoyed them with milk after. Super friendly and helpful!

T.Playtech is an awesome website and has a lot of option for items you want to purchase. I purchased a monitor from playtech and it arrived in 2 days which is super fast. The only problem I had was when I signed up through facebook and couldnt log back in again as it didnt allow me to make a password or log in with facebook again. I had to reset my password with the email of my facebook then I gained access back into my account.
E.I bought an M.2 NVME and Windows 10 home and was very happy with the prices being cheaper than places like PB Tech.I was very happy PlayTech allows for Laybuy payment so i didn't have to spend a fortune all at once. Also love their Youtube channel!

N.the purchase was smooth with no issues, my only complaint is I went to check the box of the monitor i bought to see if it came with a display port cable, the guy at the counter saw this and I asked if it came with one, with a condescending tone he replied "it's 144hz it comes with one" so I trusted him and stopped reading the box and left. then i get home to find out that it doesn't, i know its not a big deal. but don't act like a know it all when you really don't know. I didn't drive to Albany just to come home and have to go to Pb tech again. I couldn't even use free sync with the cable that it came with which is the biggest selling point which is bizarre to me.
