One of the best customer service I have experienced in a while. Even though I booked an iPhone replacement 2 days in advance, when I got there, they didn't have the battery and had to come back the following week. I would have been annoyed, having come from the other side of the city for nothing, but the customer service rep, Eva, was very helpful and all around amazing. When I came back the following week, they replaced the battery within half an hour. Thanks Eva & the team.

I would highly recommend their service. The service is second to none they replaced my wife’s MacBook Air with a new logic board as a factory Apple store would, and were the only store in the country to have higher spec MacBook pros in-stock. This is New Zealand’s best Apple service provider.

Took a phone in here for warranty in Level 3 while other stores were closed. Staff were very helpful and good to deal with, even though I hadn't purchased it there. Everything was well communicated and the phone was back before expected and with a good outcome.

Well, I can only speak from my personal experience, which exceeded my expectations after reading some of the other reviews. I dealt with 3 people to get my battery replaced in my MacBook Pro, and all of them were welcoming, knowledgeable with great communication skills. And now I have ended up with half a new laptop on Apple! It's a win! Thanks to the Ubertec team.

Had my two apple watches damaged for two different reasons. One was out of warranty and had a problem with the digital crown but Ubertec saved me all the time, money and hassle after going into Oobe, New Market who had told me I should pay to have it serviced when it was out of warranty in the first place. I also went to Ubertec about a screen replacement for my second watch and after back and forth calls with Apple, Ubertec made it super easy for me to just go in and hand in my watch in under 5 minutes. Kelvin was super helpful when communicating with me through emails about my possibilities and in the end I managed to get my watch replaced at no cost at all. Thank you so much Ubertec, I know where I am going to return in the future!

I would've liked a call/email to let me know that my laptop was ready, instead of me calling them. They did email on the Monday to say that they'd call when it was ready - so perhaps my call on Friday pre-empted theirs. I was really impressed with the communication and follow up calls/emails aside from this.
Everybody that works here knows what they're doing. And I love that there's customer parking. Cheers, mates!

Edit: I deleted the original review because I decided to increase the rating and the original review won't match the rating very well.
I booked for a screen replacement for Friday on Wednesday this week(at the store after the staff checked my phone). After 2 hours of waiting on Friday they told me they couldn't do the replacement because my phone was slightly bent. I wish next time they can verify the issue before having the service, not afterward. So customers can choose the right option at the start not after a couple of days of useless waiting.
Overall the staffs are willing to communicate and willing to solve the problem. I don't think this particular service was a well representation of their company and I wish they can do better next time.

I bought my Fiance’s Macbook 12” in a week ago to have the keyboard inspected/replaced under Apple’s “Sticky Keys” keyboard replacement programme. Ubertech support called me midway through to update me on the outcome of the inspection and organise the repair under recall as it ultimately qualified for it - 2 working days from start to finish most of which was a part being delivered to them so cant fault them there - they even managed to get it done on the day the part arrived despite a Parnell-wide power outage which was very cool. The repair itself was also completed to an excellent standard and we’re very happy with it. There was an (unrelated to keyboard) issue on pickup, but Mike was excellent at dealing with it quickly and professionally, and gave me the benefit of the doubt which was hugely appreciated and alone has made me a return customer for the next Macbook we buy. Couldn't recommend highly enough - cheers Mike & Team.

Had to get my MacBook Pro repaired under Apple free repair program and came here. It was super quick and painless to get it fixed and ended up being quicker than they said it would be which was great. Is a little confusing the place looking like a house and not knowing whether to go left or right when you get in, as left appears sales and right was just a desk which ended up being servicing.

I found that my laptop was covered by Apple under a rare MacBook screen repair warranty programme so I knew my repair cost would be free! Yes you should backup your data onto a hard drive before taking it into repair just in case. I took my laptop in on a monday, got a call the next day (tuesday) on what would be happening, and it was ready to be picked up on Wednesday afternoon. My whole screen, keyboard and pretty much all external features got replacement and laptop looks nice and new. Extremely fast service in my case and thanks to the Ubertech team and Technicians!

Totally impressed with the level of customer service and speed of repair of my laptop. After being told by other service centres it might be a week before they could even look at it to diagnose, Ubertec had it diagnosed, parts ordered and fitted within 28 hours of me dropping it to them.

Great friendly staff and great show in an unusual but not unexpected location. Great range of apple and other apple compatible tech products. Apple products don't really have a discount. The repair team will give you a fair and unbiased opinion. You won't be forced down the official repair channel with high costs. They will make realistic recommendations on whether to replace the faulty machine etc. Overall great store and service.

The issue is not that it could not be done, the issue is the way in which the employee communicated with me. It's simply unacceptable to behave that way with a customer.

Can I just say - that Ubertec well exceeded my expectations and saved me hundreds (potentially thousands?) of dollars. I bought an iPhone X in Australia in December 2017 without AppleCare. I have kept impeccable care of this phone, but one day in April 2019 for no apparent reason it simply stopped responding, the screen went black and the phone became very hot. Eventually the battery drained out and the phone went cold, never to turn on again. The computer would not recognise it via USB, and it would not charge. The 1 year worldwide warranty had expired in December 2018 when I checked my IMEI on the Apple website - "Your phone is no longer covered." Disaster. So I took it to Ubertec because we don't have any "offical" Apple stores here in NZ and their reviews looked pretty good. Ubertec liaised with Apple and convinced Apple to replace the entire handset with a refurbished but otherwise "new" iPhone X - FREE OF CHARGE. Ubertec even refunded their own $50 diagnostic fee because the dead phone wasn't able to turn on for diagnostic testing. $0 spent! Any other dishonest company could have charged anything for the replacement phone or at least a service fee, claiming to have fixed the problem themselves, and I was prepared to pay hundreds for this. I was also prepared to lose any faith I had in Apple entirely. Thank you Ubertec for saving my life/iPhone.

Ubertec have gone above and beyond my expectations for great customer service. Living on Waiheke has made it hard to travel to Auckland, but an employee took matters into his own hands and dealt with the situation. Also, I have had problems with my iMac ever since I purchased it in 2012, and only a couple weeks ago did Ubertec finally find what was wrong with it when every other tech shop has failed to do so. They fixed it without a problem, and I’m very happy to say I would highly recommend this store. Great friendly staff, and very professional. Thanks guys!

The team at Ubertec consistently excel. I have dealt with a number of Apple service centres and sales outlets and Ubertec have never disappointed me. Their service is courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. They always meet their commitment and more. Occasionally they need reminding to charge for work carried out, but that is a minor detail! They are always my first port of call for anything to do with computers.

Told the pleasant service desk gentleman I'd been given a price to do it elsewhere, so as long as it wasn't too much more, do it now please.
He took it upstairs to the tech (in a soft bag to protect it from light shower splatter), and came back in a few minutes, key replaced, and said NO CHARGE.

The closest thing you'll find to an actual Mac Store and service desk in Auckland.
I took in my MacBook Pro this week with a screen issue and the service desk guy spent a good 20-30min trying to solve it for me then and there so that I wouldn't need to book it in and be without it. He solved it and sent me on my way with a smile and without spending a dollar. That's why I'll go back and why I've used them (and spent a tone of cash over the years) many times in the past for all my service work and purchases. I totally trust them and have not once been disappointed.

Great place, if you know about cga then you're pretty much sorted here, I could see how other reviewers that dont know much could easily be charged for stuff they shouldn't be, however for me they went above and beyond, replacement screen they installed died for no reason just outside of the 90 day warrenty, turned out to be a very easy fix and the problem being dust, they flagged the service fee which was great. Overall, very happy. Highly recommended :)

I’ve always had nothing but great service from ubertec. I work in banking and my laptops and phone are very important to me for work. Had numbers of my computers and iPhones serviced here. They are by far the fastest and most friendly compare to others. Apple award them with the premium status for a good reason. Too many entitled people feel like they can black mail companies using unjustified 1 star review just because little things don’t go their way. Grow up!

My Ipod Touch had just fallen over the warranty period and as luck would have it developed a fault with the sound coming from headphones. I described the problem, the chap behind the counter reckoned there was probably something in the headphone socket so took it away for a few minutes. He returned with it fixed and gave it a clean up.
No mention of charge, warranty and nothing but top quality friendly service. Thank you very much!

I've been in to Ubertec for service twice; once for my Macbook and once with my iMac. Both times they were fast, efficient, professional and I was stoked with the result. I have tried other Apple Service agents, but none other has come close to the high level of service I've received at Ubertec. I would never go anywhere else.

I have dealt with dozens of IT/IS professionals over my 20 year working career and I have NEVER, EVER come across two guys who are more friendly, helpful and supportive. Both Marcus and John have gone out of their way to treat me as though we’ve done business for years, rather than as yet another walk up customer who didn’t back up their data properly. They have provided sound advice, realistic assessments and have generally made a very painful process significantly less so. I can’t speak highly enough of these two guys, and the culture that is so obviously a key part of how Ubertech does business.

Went in yesterday afternoon ready to update my old Sony laptop. Had thought to replace with ipad but after discussion realised a macbook air is what would be best. I got everything I needed and the gentleman who dealt with me was lovely and patient I came away feeling I had everything sorted.

Cut along story short... I was looking for a new ADSL2/2 Modem, I went to PB technologies in Penrose; I was recommended a DSL modem router that would work seamlessly with Extreme Airport Base Station by one of there sales team; he mentioned that it would work in OSX Server App... Epic Fail. Cost one WAG320N Link-sys dual band modem router.
Called for help, "UBERTEC" To the rescue! 15 Mins on the phone with Michale and he explained the whole process of what PPPOE to PPPOA is and what I needed to run the Extreme Airport Base Station in OSX Server App. After the conversation I presented my self at there store and purchased the correct ADSL2/2 Modem. The same day I was up and running.
