We had online delivery which was excellent, tracking number immediately. Had a little trouble with the TV and subsequent communications, so took it back and it was checked over by the team in Hamilton. They're great, very hard working. I appreciate they could see us straight away with our return number.

Best tech store. They may need hire more staffs because it is very hard to find a staff to give you ideas of the products. After that, please improve your display area more professional. the currently display is just poor and looks like a rural dairy shop.

Lots of staff around but they tend to keep their distance unless cornered. The mail order service is pretty good - we've used it a lot while Taxinda has had us all incarcerated.

Never use anyone else. Knowledgeable staff but hard to get a hold of, apart from that, great place. Back time and again, this time an hdd and a new phone. They price matched the phone and were the usual outstanding. Why would you go anywhere else?

Under the new covid restriction and lack of staff atm, the store has set up a wait in line procedure until the next customer service person is available to help, you tell them what you want and they will get it for you, no browsing like we used to.. It's probably faster just to do online shopping these days now.

Good deal on the new Samsung Ultra however the asian ladies are incredibly rude and obnoxious and the Maori "security" guard is over the top and follows you around asking several times if you would like help?? Isn't he meant to be at the door only? Not annoying customers??? Extremely offputting

Seamless and reliable service provider for all technology needs, with remarkable consistency across the different stores. Look up your preferred technology item and set an alert for yourself for when there are promotions on that item, so that you can do a 'click and collect' for ready convenience.

Generally a decent place to shop. Large range of electronic goods that you can't get elsewhere. The click and collect service is also incredibly efficient. Within 10 mins I could pick up an item I had requested which I thought was amazing. Pays to scope out there online sales as well for which there are many. One downside is that there are many empty shelves. It'd be nice to slap an out of stock label on items that are out of stock to give an indication of the status of product without having to track down a staff member. Other than that I'd highly recommend shopping here

Needs more staff at the front counter, when I visited it was quiet busy and only 1 person o. The counter I needed help with my product lucky it wasn't heavy so I carried it to the car. The staff were nice but no one offered to help with my product to be carried to the car. You need some more training

I ordered a high end HP Z series laptop on the website. PB Tech had a great selection of these high end models. Delivery was overnight. I had a small "user" problem and went into the Hamilton branch to query the SD card slot. They were really helpful and solved my query.

I had a really positive experience at PB TECH Hamilton! I ordered a laptop off the PB tech website which unfortunately was not functioning properly. The staff at the Hamilton store quickly organised a store credit for me (a refund was also possible) and gave very helpful advice on what model laptop to buy as a replacement. All very professional and kept me updated with getting data off my device.

I do like their service and range. If you are lazy like me, but wish to get a good product with no ridiculous markups like Noel or Harvey etc have... and a service center to boot... go to pbtech! Good store to purchase pc components etc just let down by the staff who have poor communication skills. With the exception of David one of the pc trouble shooters is excellent helped me through a tough spot with a faulty graphics card supplied by PB tech.

A must go place if you are looking for computer parts, peripherals, smart home stuff, electronics, cameras, and more! Majority of my stuff came from pbtech with special deals. Only downside is if the store is very busy they seem to be short staff most of the time. Overall highly recommmend

Came in last week and Purchased a new CPU, Motherboard, Case, AIO, and Powerplay. Can’t remember the guys name but he was a great help, always come to Hamilton PB tech, but really is a challenge to get a staff members attention, is a bit awkward when you need a hand with something and there’s 3 staff sitting down chatting, other than that great store!

I started buying computers and components from these guys way back in the 90s when they were a small shop on Victora St. Have used their click and collect service recently and can't fault it. Athough I was a bit quick going to the store after I got the text from them, they hadn't brought my item to the collection area yet, still, it didn't take long for staff to get it from the back. Great range of products, great prices, great staff, what more could you want?

Friendly bunch here. Know their trade. Pricing is always good and the specials worth following. Staff are easy to talk to and understand and you don't get rushed like other branches. Not my closest branch but definitely my favorite.

Once you found a staff member - you are in good hands. Looking for one can be a bit of challenge if you walk slowly. But if someone promised to come back to you once free - they will do that for sure. Reasonable prices, good range of products, staff knows what they are talking about.

Fantastic product selection, prices are OK. As for in-store service on a Suturday they do the best they can, but I've had 10 times better. Really wasn't impressed when after waiting in line for 15 minutes, having reached the front of the queue, the clerk said he'd walk the customer he was dealing with to the counter, that was ok, but he was sidetracked by a customer on the way back and the clerk didn't have the gumption to politely say he should wait in line, that's very poor service.

Always willing to help, great tech guys. Built my computer there 4 years later needed new motherboard and CPU. Had an inspection day later I got a txt for the fix job accepted it and then next day it was done. I even called at 5:30pm (closing time) to ask if I could pick it up as I had just finished work and was really close and they let me 👍🏽

I ordered a laptop online today, from PB tech to Click and collect, at Hamilton. I was happy to receive a text that my laptop was ready 1ish hours after I had paid. When I arrived I followed the instructions and replied to the text telling them I had arrived. I didn’t get a reply or acknowledgment. It would be great to have a reply “Thanks for shopping with us, your # in the queue”. A couple of cars were waiting and went in before me, but also people arrived after me and just walked up to the desk. Some of these people appeared to have issues and took a while. I waited 20-30m in the carpark with only 2-3 other cars. I even thought about walking up to the desk myself as it started to get close to closing time. I then received a text that my order was ready and walked straight to the counter. There was only one person working on the counter. He was very friendly great customer service and the whole thing took less than a minute and I was on my way. It did increase my frustration at people who arrived and walked straight up. There were signs out explaining the process but they were in small writing and next to the desk, so people just walked up to read them and then would talk to the guy working the desk.

This is the first place I go for techie stuff. Been going there for must be nearly ten years now. No problems in all that time, and I've bought at least 4 desktops 6 tablets 4 phones and many many parts. Very helpful staff. Bought my wife a new phone just before Christmas - the salesman said 'Wait here' and a minute later turned up with a free wireless bluetooth speaker worth $70 that was part of the deal but I didn't know about. Great service from their salesmen and very helpful service staff.

PB Tech gives much cheaper and faster repairs for devices than any other store out there and is definitely one to keep written down if your or someone else's device has an issue.

Excellent range of products. Like walking into a Willy Wonka's factory. Only issue is finding a free staff member. A large number of products are locked in cabinets and you will often find yourself waiting awhile for someone to open them. Otherwise, everyone is friendly and helpful.

Got to be the best computer parts store in New Zealand. The new store in Te Rapa Hamilton allows much more room and freedom to shop. These guys have some super competitive prices that rival online overseas prices. Get components, builds and advice. Fix it. These staff know the answers to your questions.

Customer service is on point. I got a Philips headphone on black Friday sale, used it for less than 8 months, had some issue with the left speaker. Took it back, got it replaced with a new one within 3 days. Had the same issue after three months, took it back, this time got a full refund. How cool is that?! Basically got to use a headphone for free for almost a year. So make sure you keep the receipts safe and an eye on the warranty period.

Many times I go to check out some products that I'm considering buying, but they don't have them on display. "That's too expensive to have on display", the young lady replied when I asked about Pixel 2. Well, it's more expensive the sales opportunities you're losing because of this poor retail practice. The shop is a bit too overwhelming and needs better lighting for a more convenient shopping experience. Merchandising expertise is seriously needed.

Great store for the computer illiterate or the professional gamer it caters to both quite well if you don't know anything about a specific product what it does etc this stuff there are quite well informed about a product and if the staff member that you asked doesn't know normally they know of another staff member that does know about the product very friendly staff and I have spent quite a number of thousands of dollars at their store and I am happy to go back time and time again sometimes it can get a little bit crowded hence the four stars but to be fair the reason why it gets so crowded is because it's such a good store and a lot of people go to it if you want anything computer related I suggest you go to the store as it is the best door in Hamilton to get anything computer related

In terms of selection, PB Tech would have to be one of the largest tech retailers in the Waikato in terms of inventory. While staff can often be busy with other customers, wait time is generally not too long, and they are willing to answer any questions you may have, and/or help you with a new PC build or PC repair. If you have an account with PB, they will automatically send you an invoice after your purchase, putting the account history in your hands too, as well as making business-related purchases hassle-free.

2nd PB tech shop that I've visited. I was convinced to get a for quotes for 2 pc builds. Nobody got back to me so, purchased elsewhere. 2nd time here I asked for a pc and told my story about the first time. I was again convinced a build was cheaper and better. Guess what happened - yup. Nobody got back to me and purchased elsewhere again. Some of us don't know what specs are. If you can tell me what I want, I'm sold. Why not take my money? Total spent elsewhere = Mac was $3,500. Pc' an monitors, etc and software was $8,300. I waited two weeks before going elsewhere for both purchases because you knew exactly what I needed and I don't. I just needed my machines to do the job.
