Needed a computer boffin urgently, Rex came to the rescue, I have never had such service from anyone, anywhere. Would recommend him anytime. Fantastic person.

Where to start. Rex is a lifesaver. What a quick efficient service. My laptop died and I needed one urgently. Rex sourced a new laptop for me and set EVERYTHING up, made it all so easy. Also very reasonably priced. Thanks Rex !

I contacted Rex regarding purchasing a new computer after losing all confidence in my previous one. Rex has been excellent in his response and communication and has made every effort to make sure that I was up and running with my new PC, transferring all files and also explaining computer jargon in a way I could understand! This was all done during lockdown which was an extra bonus!! Rex has since been able to answer all my questions and queries and is always at the end of a phone call, should I need any on-going assistance. Fantastic service and I highly recommend him.

Rex's computer services are clearly above and beyond!!! My dad purchased a Lenovo laptop from Rex over a year ago at a fantastic price and it's been running like an absolute dream. Further more, Rex's after sales service is amazing and second to none!! My dad had a software installation issue and Rex was on hand immediately to help late Saturday night and remotely resolved the issue. Rex's is highly recommended to deliver great PCs' at unbelievably great prices. Why shop anywhere else.

Rex fixed my laptop over the phone so patiently during COVID 19 lock down! He told me everything to do, and walked me through taking it all apart over the phone! pretty impressive when you think about my lack of computer skills! I have dealt with Rex for quite a few years now and you couldn't ask for a better technician. He has a vast knowledge of computers and software and is always available to help in an emergency. Another great thing is that Rex doesn't over charge. You know that his price is genuine and most likely not as much as it should be.

Rex Short has helped our family numerous times with our computer issues. We live in Taupo and but whenever we have had issues with our emails/ computer we have just phoned Rex and he logs into our computer via remote control and resolves the issues for us. Occasionally we have sent him the computer to upgrade the software and he always has it back on the courier asap. Awesome service. Would highly recommend ☺

Great, genuine service. Had an issue with my laptop and gave me plenty of advice for free. Gave me clear options and was straight up about prices. I was able to use his advice to try to fix the problem on my own, before taking his follow up advice to take the laptop back to the shop. Didn't have to pay a thing! Thanks, Rex! Rex provides an excellent service, from choosing a product to installing it, to support long after your purchase. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and happy to help whenever you need. I am very happy with his service and I'm very happy to recommend him.

As a dairy farmer, my data safety is really important. I don't have time to record information a second time. Rex supplied and installed an external hard drive that automatically makes a copy of my data files and we can store that off site if we are going away. Also, if my main storage crashes (again), I will still have all my data. The last time Rex helped me he replaced my DVD drive. I had not used it for maybe a year, but when my accountant needed a secure copy of my accounts to prepare my annual return, Rex supplied and installed a reliable brand at reasonable cost and on time. And he did it at the farm. Good one Rex!

Inglewood is a great place to live. Why? Well, one reason is that we have Rex Short Computer Services. When you have computer or internet problems here, you don't have to wait a week or longer queuing up just to get your computer diagnosed, let alone fixed, like in larger places. (And I see from other reviews, you get great service even if you live far from Inglewood too!) Since we had Fibre installed, internet speed on my 6yr old laptop surprisingly reversed to running worse than dial-up speed at 0 - 1 Mbps, (and it was usually 0, not 1). After a phone call to Rex, (answered immediately) he came around and had given me free advice all in less than an hour. A trip to town and the purchase of a small plug-in part brought my laptop up to the promised speeds I had been looking forward to. We have gone to Rex for computer repairs & purchases for a few years now and will continue to do so.

He has transferred our records from old equipment to new, without hassle. When needed,repairs have been completed promptly at a reasonable price.
