Was hard to find can't park near it but owner planning a better place all good

Took my Macbook in after it decided not to start up. Was happy with the result after a few days getting it sorted. Macbook super fast now after a new SSD drive install. Thanks to the team at BOI Comps.

I particularly enjoyed the prompt replies to emails and questions. Also the follow up is impressive. I had Windows 10 reinstalled. Great job. However it would have been useful to have been reminded that I would have to update Windows 10. I was not aware that I had to do this and it was only when I found that I needed an updated driver that I realised I had to update the Windows 10 new installs. This took ages and I had to keep restarting my computer. I enjoyed the friendly and helpful service from Bay of Islands Computer Staff. However it was obviously a bad day for the staff on my 2nd visit when I introduced a friend who needed her computer cleaned and serviced. I’ll continue to support Bay of Islands Computers.

Friendly, efficient, service. Very clear communication from all staff both reception and service people. Advice given if the problem reoccurred so I could fix the situation myself, I think this was an excellent extra. I have recommended them and will again.

I had a broken power button on my laptop and took it to BOI computers as they were highly recommended. They had to send the laptop away for repairs, but it all happened quickly and I had it back (fixed!) in no time. What I likes best about the service was that BOI Computers kept me informed every step of the way. Well done!

These folks are great, no matter what kind of damage I inflict on my computer software they manage to bring it back to a healthy state. If I had any brains I'd stop mucking around with my gear, but sadly that's not in my nature. We are fortune to have Bay of Islands Computers around to fix the damage we do to our systems (I have to assume I'm not the only one that gets into trouble with new software). Thanks guys.

Thanks for the effort that you guys put into my problem with a machine supplied from a dodgy Auckland computer company. According to the PC factory in whangarei there is no one local to supply computer parts. I stopped in to Bay Of Island Computers and they had great service. Excellent knowledge and were extremely helpful. They had the parts I needed. Highly recommended. Thank you.

After having been asked by my bank to have security checks done on my computers by "professionals," I contacted Bay of Islands Computers, based in Waipapa, who asked me to bring my computer to them at my earliest convenience. After taking it to them next day, I was called at the following day and the checks I had needed doing had been completed and told my computer was ready for me to pick up. On all occasions, my dealings with Bay of Islands Computers were handled both promptly and professionally. In all respects I believe the job well done!
