Good products wish they had a larger anime range, and more attentive staff as getting help can be a bit hard some times but they are relatively good.

Excellent range of stock, and well informed staff. My only complaint was that staff were difficult to distinguish from customers.....nice, bright yellow,(store colours) shirts might be good. However it was the boxing day sales, and it was a mad house!!

I think more staff is needed on the floor. I watched an elderly man quietly ask at reception for service by the phones area and the staff lady who was very busy with a louder customer sort of dismissed him saying no ones there. The man just nodded and walked back to the phone area and stood there. I'm pretty sure he'd be standing there for a while lol

This is a great store for all your media consumption needs. Consoles, games, music. They even have a wide selection of medium sized and smart appliances. Casual use laptops, no gaming computers that I could see (PBtech probably best for that) There was good quality air and Flor. If anything the store is a little too cluttered, better know what you're looking for before you go in or you'll want to buy everything. Excellent home theatre amplifier,s ound bar and TV selection.

Jbhifi queengate is one of the best places to get your stuff if you need to buy any electrical or phone or stuff you need. It starts from friendly staff, great customer service to great competitive prices. If you have bought something from them and its faulty they understand that fact that you have spent your money there and they will try their best to sort it out for you or even replace it compared to their competitors who are fussy. Personally always shop there and would recommand highly to anyone who wants to buy stuff to shop there. Great place.

Guy sold me an steering wheel for my pc but it didn't work on pc as he said it would. Had to use more gas just to go back and get an new one lucky that worked. Thought it was poor service. But it would be nice to know your staff are more trained next time I go in to buy something.

We went into the Lower Hutt store on the 8th October at 12.53pm, i was so amazed at how busy it was but still, there were enough staff to assist us with our questions. We went in for a coffee machine and a sodastream maker, the lovely young lady who helped us went above and beyond. She helped us pick the perfect machine, the accessories we NEEDED and recommended some places to purchase the coffee beans from which by the way was a great choice. She also helped us to pick out a sodastream maker and the bits and pieces that are needed for it. She was very full of knowledge and she knew what she was talking about. It helped she was a coffee lover too. We had taken our 4 young children in with us and she was happy to talk to them while helping us out and scanning as we went. The scanning as we went saved us so much time at the end, we didn't have to wait in a line, everything was scanned and ready for the payment process. We must have gone in at the perfect time as there were so amazing specials on what we purchased. We highly recommend this store to everyone. If you want top notch customer service, this is the place to go.

The second time again we had Alun . We felt comfortable asking questions and he took the time to show us products and give us advise. On both visits there was no pressure. Have bought a lot from them and have been looked after every single time, the staff actually know their stuff in their respective fields and don't try to upsell you to the most expensive item but rather they sell you what suits your needs best. This ensures you get exactly what you're after rather than feeling cheated into something that's excessive. Highly recommend this shop!

But insanely terrible delivery times if they have to order stuff in for you from another store in NZ or their wearhouse. A computer took over a month to arrive one time, TV about 3 weeks, etc... Recently bought a camera lens which they said they have in Dunedin. It's been 2 weeks still waiting! I don't understand why this company operates like it's half asleep. I had faster deliveries from the other side of planet, might as well just shop online to be honest...

This JB Hi-Fi has a really weird layout (making it hard to find specific sections) and can get extremely crowded on busy days. The staff here is friendly, but they seem unapproachable because they are loitering behind the counter or having a gossip session amongst their co-workers, which I have noticed more than once. They do have a wide range of products but their prices are kind of expensive compared to competitors. Despite these drawbacks, I like how they give in-house ratings on video games, it gives it a personal touch.
