A.Have visited many times over the past few years and always have they been professional, friendly and offering good advice. I've had transactions with their sales, customer service and returns dept and all were great to deal with. Recommended as a "go to" place for IT & technology in the city.
s.The help desk in-store was spot on with the guidance and were very polite and highly professionals. Other customer centric businesses should definitely take a pointer or two from PBTech and train their staff relevant technical and customer service oriented skills. Never been a disappointment!

4.Alan Cai has consistently provided some of the best support I've seen from a company. My computer has been having issues for almost two years, and every time I've taken it in he has tried so much to fix it.
He's replaced so many parts, run so many tests, and has always been extremely professional no matter the issue. I can only imagine how frustrating it is when I come back in with the same issue, yet he's always friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend PB Tech's Tauranga branch for the support alone—even if the price may be lower in other stores, I've come to learn that that price difference means losing quality customer support.
r.Always helpful and prompt service at PB Tech Tauranga. Had issues with motherboard/CPU which Alan was able to identify and replace under warranty for me the same afternoon. Would recommend to anyone looking for tech gear in Tauranga.

They are always having good sales and are often the best price in town. I actually bought something from their original Auckland shop over 20 years ago.
j.No issues here . No entry with without masks and a guard at the entrance checking for vaccine certificates so feels safe shopping here.

P.Very hot outside. We need to stand in a line in the hot sun and burn. Some thought could be put onto having the line in the shade.
O.Came in today for assistance on a modem. Had very helpful advice on what I needed to do to maximise my wifi connection speed in the house. I'm not a tech savvy individual but was able to understand everything that was being said as he explained everything in a simple manner. He wasn't trying to sell me anything I didn't need and gave me multiple options to take. 10/10. Give that man a raise.

C.Service got a bit better over the past year. What sucks is that only 10 ppl are allowed in at the same time but people turn up in pairs and linger around in the store forever. Its especially annoying if you do click and collect and still have to wait an hour on Saturday morning to pick up your stuff

M.Very friendly and helpful staff. Had to build a brand new computer for my father, I used my knowledge from my own build and used the online PC builder to figure out how much to spend. Then went down to this store and with a helpful staff member grabbed everything from the aisles that I requested to purchase.
Also had to purchase a water cooler for my own computer, thought that cheaper(Cooler Master) was better. But with the same staff member's help and advice, he recommended me to spend a little more money for quality so I ended up with an NZXT water cooler. Had this also fitted in my PC by the service technicians also. Never had a problem since I've bought since.
Would definetly recommend this store to others!!!

J.Their staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable about the products of the stock. You can buy online from the company and pick up in-store as well. Pick up service is either the same day or the next if, in stock, they make it super easy. They have fantastic printer ink prices as well.
v.Received excellent service from the technicians at the back. My experience has not been great with the sales guys they have on the floor. I was after a very specific custom build for a high end editing station and ended up doing my own research, as they were not helpful. But once I went to the technicians at the back of the shop, I received excellent advice and service. I am guessing their buy power makes them most competitive in town. I had good interactions with the store manager too.

L.Me and my partner went in to buy a TV today. Floor service was awesome but I find it really weird and somewhat "cheeky" that we get charged for the fee that laybuy charge you (the business) for using their services? I've never been charged a fee for using laybuy anywhere but here. Let alone $18.
The lady serving us barely understood what we were saying as well. Luckily the manager (I think) came over and pretty much wiped the fee.
I don't think it's very fair to be charging your customers a fee that the business is required to pay for using laybuy services.

H.Very good advice over the phone and just as good in store service today at Tauranga store. Previous purchases - 2 expensive 'universal' chargers...never held a battery charge. But according to a Dell Community forum, 'original Dell batteries have microchips to help consumers detect counterfeit batteries'.

Communications : Poor. No ETA's or updates, ever. You have to chase & chase them. My order sat on a shelf until I called x2...
No parking available at the Tauranga store. Be prepared for a long walk from your car or arrange postal delivery.

H.Sean is absolutely amazing - I got an old computer given to me and had no idea what to do with it. I have no experience with computers and find it very overwhelming. He helped me with the choice of graphics card and installation (put it in for free) he told me I could get a cheaper one as that would have been fine to run the software I needed, saving me hundreds of dollars. He also replaced a screw that was missing and taught me so much. It started freezing a month later and I had hardeive issues (10year old hardeive) and I took it back - Sean had a look at it did some updates and kept it over the weekend to make sure it didn’t freeze again. Thanks so so much Sean. So honest and helpful, completely changed my perception of computer shops. Your the best! Will definitely be back because of you.

S.Overpriced on the vast majority of their gear and couldn't tell you what their service is like... I try to avoid this place unless I have no other choice. On the up side they do seem to have a good range.
L.I have on two occasions had the misfortune of needing assistance with my computer and then with a new router. On both occasions Sean at the tech bay was great and sorted me out in short order. Heartily recommend Sean at PB Tech if you need IT hardware help.

H.Was looking for little Niggly bits so I could finish my pc as I couldn’t without them, went to PB Tech and got referred to Sean, To say the least Sean was extremely helpful, knowing what I needed and then processing to give me exactly what I needed. Honestly I have always liked PB Tech (mainly been online) and now like their physical stores as this was my first visit to one. Would recommend this store, and Sean’s cool little workshop at the back (honestly so cool).
I.I came in PB Tech looking for hardware support. We met a man named Sean, and he not only fixed the problem but was incredibly patient and informative. Couldn't have asked for better service.
A.Great selection comparatively and some friendly staff. Cashier waits can be a while and finding staff to help with secured products can take long, but patience yeilded results. Hopefully that gets better with time.
R.Arrived at 9.23am. Holiday hours meant it didn't open until 10am, but Alan Cai, Service Manager, was having a quick puff outside. After an exchange of greetings, he invited me in, advised on my purchase,which I had already researched, checked stock, I made my purchase, and was back on the road to Minden before official opening! What service: trust the after-care is as good, as I was buying for my daughter who lives in Tauranga, as graduation present, 2018.
