Huge thanks to Garry at ExtremePC in Wellington. I'm still blown away by he went ten miles beyond to provide the best customer service and best end product possible. This shop beats all others in terms of price, product availability, and customer service. One of the parts for my new PC was not available but Garry managed to find a solution and provided me with an outstanding PC. Very deserving of the 5 stars (and all the other great feedback they've received). Will definitely be back!

PC I got was great. Came without any problems, and in fact, some of the hardware in the system I ordered was upgraded without any extra fee!! The staff were very friendly and the build time was excellent. Benchmarked, the system I got performed at 114% compared to the same builds, which shows how great the quality of these computers is. I don't have anything negative to say about this, all around a great experience. Would highly recommend it.

I have purchased several products from Extreme PC with no issues. I recently ordered an SSD online for in-store collection and rushed to get to the store just before closing. Unfortunately, the store was already closed. After calling them, they were able to unlock the door and provide the SSD. I understand closing a few minutes early to prevent any new browsing customers so am appreciative that they were able to honour their store hours for my pickup.

Price was right and I got the thing I paid for no fuss. On that basis I can recommend the place. On that basis I recommend this place, and the following comments are just nitpicks. Browsing the website can be a bit exhausting because minor variations of different components are listed as CALL OF DUTY GAMING PC BLAH BLAH 8GB. Lots of extra verbiage and a separate product listing for what is just an extra stick of RAM or the bigger SSD. Feels like they're trying to clickbait people who aren't familiar with the specs. Picking up a laptop I had a couple questions about specs and there was a communication barrier so I couldn't go into details (relative merits of more CPU or more RAM at a given price point). They did confirm the basics though (there was a webcam on the laptop not listed on the website specs)

Or if you're in a tight squeezed budget, he'll get you the BEST PARTS, all while within your budget. Great communication, ease of transactions and very quick build up! 10/10 Overall experience! An excellent place to go and buy a ready made or something purpose built. This is the way P.B Tech used to be 15 years ago (tight and hungry). What Garry dosn't know about building a P.C, isn't worth knowing. Don't waste your time wondering the streets trying to find a place to build or fix a computer, just come here.

Bought a gaming PC for my son recently. Called up to discuss and was very happy with the recommendation provided, as I wanted a PC that can last for couple of years without having to worry about upgrading soon. Garry was also accommodating to the minor changes requested, all these without having to blow the budget. In fact I found the price (based on the specs) quoted by ExtremePC to be lower than other stores in Wellington. PC build was fast, ready within 24 hours, from the initial phone call to pickup. I highly recommend Extreme PC Wellington. They provide excellent and friendly advice, and great prices. I needed a computer for 4K film editing for my teenage son who is very interested in film making. Garry Singh the manager of Extreme PC Wellington was super helpful. He is very knowledgable about all the specs and components that we would need, and he gave us some excellent recommendations to keep our costs down. He patiently worked with us when we were deciding on components that we wanted to future proof our computer, and he never tried to sell us more expensive components that we didn't need. We really appreciated his honesty. He made the whole experience really pleasant. And the price for our new computer was very reasonable. We are very happy with the new computer that we bought from Extreme PC.

I brought a RTX 3080 Asus Tuff OC from these legends as well as a MSI Xtrio, I started to have issues of screen fading and crashing with the Asus tuff. First thing i did was email the team and explain my situation and they asked me to call so we could discuss the issues. That conversation went a lot better than i thought as i was sure i was just going to get a refund and lets be honest here in todays market no one wants that :) but what they actually did was say was ' well thats no good and after asking some questions about if i have another pc to test and install it which i did and had done. After they were satisfied about my trouble shooting they said they had another unit and were happy to replace if i wanted, I replied hell yea thanks mate!!! It was a lot better service and interaction than i have ever had with PB tech which they treat you as if youve done wrong and deny service. I just want to give a big shout out to EXTREME PC for their excellent service, understanding and opportunity to explain the situation and then respond the way you did BRAVO highly recommend trading here as they will sort you out in a professional and welcoming manner.

I cannot speak highly enough of the service I received from Gary Singh, the Manager at ExtremePC in Wellington. I have used computers for many years, but my husband has always bought my computers and done all the ‘technical’ setting up and stuff for me. But now I am an elderly widow and I needed a new computer. Gary was never disparaging about my lack of computer ‘know how’. He always had a positive attitude to my needs and was unfailingly tactful and polite, with a ready smile and a touch of humour. He never boasted of his computer ‘know how’ but inspired confidence in his abilities. He even bought me a take-out coffee when I needed to wait while he worked on my computer! Went to pick up a video card I had purchased but was very helpful with a problem I had with one of my NVMe SSD as I didn't have a mount to screw it into. He demonstrated with a cable tie which he gave me and also gave me a mount to screw into the motherboard. The screw in mount worked and now have my NVMe SSD firmly attached to my motherboard. Extreme PC Wellington is the real deal. They have some great prices on gaming PC's and gear but more importantly they are absolutely customer focused. Called into the shop a couple of weeks ago to say hello to the team after purchasing a system two weeks prior to that and their whole attitude was about seeing to the customers need. The delivery service for products ordered on line is second to none. Ordered peripherals 2pm last Wednesday and they arrived 10AM Thursday. I am in Turangi, about as far away as you can get from Wellington or Auckland. Go and say hello to Garry Singh and get the best service in town.

I asked Gigabyte what to do about one of their faulty motherboards and they told me to go back to the shop I bought it from. When I sent ExtremePC an email about it, they told me they would replace it if the technician found it to be faulty. I took it into their Wellington shop and they tested the board on the spot, confirmed it was faulty and I couldn't have been happier when they handed me over a replacement board.
